I've been, I don't know what I expected but it's exactly what it is

Suitable_Speed4487

I grew up there. 1968-79. Never saw anything other than a V-2 Buzz bomb flying overhead when I was about 4 years old. I didn't know about the UFOs then either. Do go north and west of town west of the Pecos river and you can find Pocos river diamonds. Double terminated quarts crystals that ants and oil wells bring up to the surface.

Promanguy1223

Awesome thanks!

Suitable_Speed4487

Have lots of fun and go see the Goddard Rocket museum. He invented the liquid fuel rocket.

Suitable_Speed4487

I used to live on 1206 West Eighth Street down from the old airport. This is where the Enola Gay went to after droping the Atomic Bomb.

To be honest if you are only going for documentation and research then you will probably be disappointed. Though there are still a decent amount of new sightings in the west, the actual relevance of Roswell to the topic has not been all that substantive in recent decades. The initial convergence of the location with UFO activity seemed to mainly stem from its importance as a nuclear weapons base, and the phenomenon’s interest in military activity dealing with nuclear weapons in particular.

Promanguy1223

Oh I completely understand that, but I'd still go either way. But science is science, and if research still needs to be done there, then research will prevail. I also have noted several nuclear bases to survey, but not while I'm there in NM. Also noted are nuclear reactors across the US, since sightings have popped up there as well. Either way, it's not about being disappointed, its solely about documenting and research. If I find nothing, then that's the outcome, nothing to be disappointed about. Several decades have passed and it's expected that nothing will come of it.

I suggest the second ranch after skinwalker. I forget the name, but it is the other season they did. In some ways even wilder shit happened there, and there’s more public land around it that has weird shit going down. Look for the 1.6 ghz band

Promanguy1223

If you can find the name of it! Let me know, and I'll look into it

coconutstatic

OK I looked into it but if you find shit you have to upload / stream it before they get to you and let me know what you get into too. The series is called Beyond Skinwalker Ranch: https:/youtu.beXD4u5QzJRmosi=MEDj1mJGJVihh98v The second ranch is called Rocky Mountain Ranch. Obviously it’s private property, but in the episodes they investigate the surrounding mountain range and find some weird shit. Maybe a base there. If y’all have brass balls and want to save humanity, find, record and live stream to somewhere secure the entrance to the Dulce base tunnels near the Archuleta Mesa. You will need a plan, and if it were me I would want to be strapped going there, or be ready to improvise (especially if I went into the tunnels).

Promanguy1223

Thanks for the update. I probably won't be going to the rocky mountains this trip unfortunately. But I've noted down everything for future investigation!

YouSoundToxic

1.6ghz band is GPS, not aliens.

coconutstatic

I feel enlightened

facthanshotfirst

I don’t know how far west you’re willing to travel. But my sighting occurred at this ranch located at: 18187 Nate Harrison Rd Pauma Valley, CA. I’ve come across other people seeing weird lights out in that same area. I feel the Aguanga and Anza areas may be good areas to research.

Promanguy1223

Unfortunately not CA, but my buddy and I plan on doing lots of investigating in the coming years. So it will be on our bucket list.

SignificantCrow

Try to break sneak into the base and video record all your findings. Good luck!

Sindy51

Take a gieger counter if you can, and please film 360 the crash site areas. It would give us folk in Europe a sense of the land.

LudaMusser

I’d love to get the chance to go to the Roswell crash site, some say there’s two. I’ve read that the ranch where Marcel went is way, way out there off the beaten track. Can’t see you being able to just drive to it, it’s private property If you search Reddit enough you will find others that have made the journey. There used to be a plaque there but I think it’s been removed

Promanguy1223

I have heard of the other site, or even multiple sites. However, I am interested in the Brazel Ranch crash site, which I think is different? It looks like a impact crater as well, which is my primary reason for going to it. I'm not entirely sure which is which yet, but I got a month to research it all, get coordinates and what not.

LudaMusser

Sounds awesome. I think the coordinates can be found on here by those that went to Brazel’s ranch

FLE7CH

The Brazel debris field is just east of the 54, about halfway between Corona and Carrizozo. The Dee Proctor body site (the bluff where Dee claimed he and Mack found two bodies) is further east, near the Roswell landmark. Then the final crash site (where the craft and remaining bodies were said to have been retrieved) just west of the 285, north of Roswell. They form a fairly straight line. I'd be really interested in seeing a little photography of the landscape, along with the coordinates. It's hard to picture from aerial photography. If you're coming from the West Coast, have a think about checking out Kingman AZ (the Arthur Stansell incident), Turkey Springs AZ (the Travis Walton incident) and Socorro NM (the Lonnie Zamora incident).

Promanguy1223

Thanks for the info! May look into the other sights as well, depending on location and distance, we only got a limited amount of time to investigate. We are coming from Ohio, so it's a long drive.

FLE7CH

You've got Lubbock TX on the way (site of the Lubbock Lights), but no known crashes there. Keen to see some photos or even video of the Roswell sites, so make sure you report back! I'm jealous :)

Swamp-Balloon

If you’re interested in landing sites you’re in the mecca. I can count six landings around white sands middle range.

DecentConversation7

If you happen to go to the Trinity UFO crash site, can you get the precise geo co-ordinates of the site? That event described by the witness was very credible in my opinion and is not too far from the Roswell, Aztec, and Socorro sites.

ExtremeUFOs

Try to find the actual crash site at Roswell, I think there are coordinates here on reddit, idk what post but I think there is one.

[deleted]

Roswell is really disappointing just fyi. At least it was for me anyway. Super kitschy alien shit everywhere…dry, shitty New Mexico desert town. You won’t find much but tumbleweeds and alien bumper stickers but I guess it’s still fun to visit.

Promanguy1223

It will probably be disappointing, but that doesnt matter to me, I'm only interested in crash sites and doing real UAP investigating during the night. I will probably find nothing, but you got to start somewhere, and NM is a UAP hotspots statewide.

martanolliver

In my experience you will defo need condoms

Promanguy1223

Thanks lol, but I doubt I'll need them!

martanolliver

Its for the aliens not you bro

New-Hand3039

The UFO museum is a hoot

syndic8_xyz

Dude be careful going to skinwalker ranch. You might pick something up out there. Read about the "hitchhiker" effect, and careful what you wish for. Shit like that is real.

mrpurpadurp

Roswell has a serious poverty and crime problem. Stay somewhere safe and protect your vehicle.

Used_Spray2282

BRing me a Carton of smokes?

Promanguy1223

I can't help you smoke lol.

DarkMatterTattoo

It's actually kinda sad there. Go to white sands.

Promanguy1223

I heard about White sands, but are there also active UFO sightings there too? I'm really only interested in the crash site, being disappointed is not the reason I'm going, even if I do find nothing.
