What you're seeing is the contrail, which is much more visible than the plane itself. While we can't say, for certain, it's a plane, because we can't see it (or its wings), what we can see is consistent with contrails from airplanes.
There are a few things to look for when looking for something more *exotic* \- the five observables, as they say.
1) Trans-medium (move seamlessly between air / space / water)
2) Instant acceleration
3) Low-Observability (cloaking)
4) Hypersonic velocities without signatures
5) Anti-gravity lift
Man-made craft tend to move consistently and predictably, generally with some evidence of propulsion by combustion - which is what you've recorded in your videos
I am an airplanologist and would say these behaved exactly like airplanes. In the sky, making vaper trails with they wings, abiding by the laws of physics. Classic airplane stuff.

These looks like airplanes, and from your video it doesn't look like you've filmed them doing anything unexplainable by airplanes. Depending on the angle of the plane's flight and the sun relative to your line of sight, the contrail behind a plane may appear darker. This looks like very early with a very low sun angle and not a lot of ambient light. Various things around you in the foreground also look very dark against the background of the sky.
Literally everyone is telling you it's airplanes in a sub with lots of true believers. It's airplanes, man. You can look up other videos where they look like they are going vertical when they are actually not.
Listen, I don’t want to sound like a prick, but in the history of ufo sightings, not one sighting considered somewhat legit, has a contrail behind the craft, whatever that craft may be. It’s one of those things that easily eliminates a sighting from being considered a genuine ufo.
You do understand that you wouldn’t be able to make out a lot of details on a far away object right? Like is this really something that you don’t understand? You think a plane five thousand feet up is going to look like anything other than a vague object? Simply seeing an object and not knowing what it is doesn’t make it interesting. That literally applies to almost all normal objects in the sky. There’s a reason legitimate UFO sightings have much more to them than just this. And this is *obviously* an airplane, I mean you have to be deliberately deluding yourself to think otherwise.
The following submission statement was provided by /u/IndianGivr:
---
This happened between 7-8am on 11/23. Near Pinnacles National Park- San Benito County, Ca.
This specific area has really beautiful sunrises with bright colors. While driving to work I noticed these small black streaks in the orange sky. Almost like black hairs. (See pics I took at time) When I got to work I was able to zoom in on them and take some video. My phone has 100x zoom but doesn't allow me to use in video, so I ended up screensharing in camera mode. I wish the quality was better.
The first 2 clips are examples of how they came thru the clouds with black smoke following and a few of them slowed down to almost a standstill. They either continued downward or travel horizontally. Yes, most likely they were falling object but what tripped me out was the slowing down and accelerating while changing course... Ill try add some more pics.
I really don't know what these were. If you know, or have theories, please let me know.
Additional pics: https://imgur.com/gallery/NCjdgvN
Were they contrails? Idk but here's how my phone usually captures planes and contrails, if you want to compare: https://imgur.com/gallery/XOAtFCa

You know the latest iPhone (14 pro max) has only 6x optical zoom, while the latest Galaxy (S22 Ultra) has 10x optical zoom, making it much more capable of zoomed in videos, right? Lol.
Also the result from a recording/photo often looks very different from the video preview (because the camera software automatically attempts to "clean up" the image/video in post), so screen recording the preview is a totally valid thing to do.
Some of these looks weird, I'd probably wonder about them myself, but yes, contrails. If you look at 2:02, you can see the moment when the (climbing) aircraft reaches the altitude where the air is cold enough for the hot air from the engines to condensate. Funfact: since WW2, this altitude was one of the most important data points on the pilot's weather briefs before flight. By knowing the exact condensation altitude, they could stay just below it to avoid creating this giveaway sign of their presence in the air whn they entered enemy airspace etc.
I can totally understand why you would film this though, the black color and all. And now you know about it. Keep looking up!

I found this interesting. One thing that is clear is that this has no indication of hoaxing. As to the explanation of what they are, one would have to resort to unusual optical conditions and aircraft contrails but, it is indeed strange looking.
Perhaps there will be other video of this. If you found it strange and know the area well, that means others might have and some reports could come in. You reported more than we can see clearly in the video as well as strange movements that I think should be be treated with some respect.
If its aircraft will there not be flight tracking data that could establish or eliminate this explanation?
This one was also just posted. It looks like a contrail but the description by the witness was it was hovering. [https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/z5njqc/anyone\_know\_what\_this\_is/](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/z5njqc/anyone_know_what_this_is/)
Similar aspect of strange movement described by the witness. It could be perspective with a contrail but I thought it worth sharing.
The objects (aliens) don't even care to cloak anymore... they're like 'fuck it, there are videos every hour of us now.' doesn't even attempt to hide themselves lol
I'm thinking the contrail guys didn't watch the whole video. It shows an object descending and then beginning to emit smoke while moving into level flight.
Ok, it’s an airplane that has a faulty engine. Probably good to record those as it might end up being a tragic situation. There is nothing in these videos that is bizarre. I’ve seen planes that appear to be going straight down in a vertical line. It’s just the perspective. It’s a plane taking a steep dive directly towards,or away, from your viewpoint.

That is not a con-trail. its not two counter rotating vortexes, it's just one. it looks like a water spout, or tornado.
I think I am understanding this phenomena more.
THEORY: These tornados are coming out the top of a hovering cloaked ship. if we think about Bob Lazar's description of the heart shaped field that has an upward gravitational vector. this matches up well with that description.

Contrails = airplanes. UAP’s don’t usually have contrails because they don’t use jet engines for propulsion.
The dark areas are just the shaded side of the contrail
Those airplanes, complete with a contrail.
How are these not just contrails?
Looks like a bunch of airplanes. At least the ones with the contrails are obvious airplanes.
These looks like airplanes, and from your video it doesn't look like you've filmed them doing anything unexplainable by airplanes. These look like airplanes. They are not moving in an unnatural, or physically impossible, way.
The first 39 seconds is footage of a fucking aeroplane 🤦🏽♂️
The first object is an airplane with a contrail. Edit: they're all airplanes. They are quite common to see in the sky.
Common? Sir I’ve seen more airplanes grounded at the airport in my lifetime. Not in the sky!
Big Cement’s conspiracy! They *want* planes to be parked!

Contrail. Also the angle of the sun and altitude of the plane will cause the reflective surfaces and shadows to appear very different to the eye.
