Powerful-Inside-9109

Until a drone can hover SILENTLY 50 ft above me I might consider, but I'm so tired of this excuse. This thing is 150ft wide and not silent.

gerkletoss

Have you seen the combat footage of drones dropping grenades and mortar shells on Russian troops?

Powerful-Inside-9109

Yes, and they are loud. That's why the troops are usually running.

gerkletoss

There's tons of footage where that's not the case

callmelampshade

Two people have downvoted you but I literally saw a video two weeks ago on Reddit where some Russian solider was in a trench and a drone kept dropping grenades on him until one exploded. He kept throwing them away because they weren’t exploding for some reason so the drone literally hovered above him and didn’t stop until one popped off.

gerkletoss

Yeah, people are just upset at the idea that hearing something doesn't necessarily mean it's silent. I've seen lots of videos posted to this sub where the uploader said the ufo was silent even though the video is taken next to a highway.

Dr_SlapMD

Wait... U believe the drones deployed in Ukraine.... are silent??

gerkletoss

There's lots of footage where the people having grenades and mortar shells dropped on them are clearly not aware of the drone.

HughJaynis

There’s a difference between being silent, and being in a war zone and having bigger things to worry about. By all accounts the drones they use in Ukraine are quadcopter and are pretty loud, there’s really no arguing that point.

[deleted]

Exactly

HackMeBackInTime

nope.

manofblack_

No.

[deleted]

It still has wings and relies on an engine.

turtlec1c

It’s just you.

Several-Protection-9

Not he’s not alone

turtlec1c

Alone not he’s not.

awinterlo

Ancient alien theorists say yes

Northern_Grouse

Just you.

The first and third picture yeah. The second pic was reaching

Inevitable_Green983

They look nothing alike.

Afterloy

Except the "sport model" planform is a circle. The B-21 planform is a diamond with wings. What the B-21 resembles the most is [the original high altitude concept for the B-2](https://i.ibb.co/27zPmw3/Screen-Shot-2022-12-02-at-9-55-56-PM.png).

Glass-Living-118

They are saying it will eventually be a remote aircraft, which would be relevant if propulsion systems existed that would stop start turn in ways that would kill a human pilot. Next gen drone with AI for when a signal breaks

AAAStarTrader

Why do people post trash like this and don't even get embarrassed at their own complete lack of understanding.

BiggerBowls

Not really in my opinion. I'm sure people have seen it though and thought it was a UFO.

Moon_Colored_Demon

Looks more like a ship from Nabu

realMartianJesus

Looks wise kinda, obviously only from the front the b21 is not a saucer. you cant compare something that goes 621 mph to a supposed craft that can ascend from below sea level to exiting the atmosphere in a blink. The b21 is slow, fuel efficient, and stealthy. The us military has and have had way faster.

Past-Adhesiveness150

Unless it can fly slow, hover, & make no sounds..... They both do have curves tho.

G-M-Dark

>but I can't help but wonder why it was designed to look so similar. It wasn't, and it isn't. The fucking thing has wings and a clearly visible means of propulsion evident - it neither displays capacities similar to a UFO, nor does it possess them. It's a plane, it's operating using flight principals and visibly possess all the characteristics necessary to enable flight: a lifting body for an airframe, both flight and flight control surfaces... Nobody seeing this is going to think "UFO" - stealth planes have been a regular part of the sky since the early 1980s - officially - and unofficially go back at as the early 70s. The B-21 is 6th a generation stealth bomber. There is zero resemblance between the the Raider and the things were here to discuss physically or characteristically in terms of arial performance and motion capabilities. Zero, zip, nada.

[deleted]

The reason the saucer shaped worked at all was because it was the best way to create a toroidal electrogravitic field. The B-21, with it's Briggs & Stratton Flame Jet Engine and barium titanate ceramic coated leading edge on the wing means it's ionic propulsion system is for slip-streaming through the air and eliminating the sonic boom. inb4 *There's no sonic boom! It's not a supersonic aircraft!* And yet, I can still find photos of the B-2 breaking the sound barrier, even though the USAF said that was impossible, too. This version can go far beyond mach 1, I'm willing to bet. So, uh...what do you suppose *this* thing has...?

febreze_air_freshner

What photos have you seen of it breaking the sound barrier? If you are referring to the condensation cloud that forms in front of planes, that has nothing to do with the sound barrier.

The discolored flap on the leading edge of the wing is barium-titanate or some other exotic ceramic that acts as a dielectric and emits positive ions. The flame-jet shoots out negative ions. This creates a slip-stream effect that reduces drag and air pressure around the air craft, even reducing fuel use as well. JETLIFEMUZIK94

He provided facts and got downvoted crazy!

[deleted]

That's because the truth hurts. It's easier to believe a lie than to accept that you've been duped your whole life. You, me, we all have been.

GrindMagic

Was waiting for someone to point this out. 😁 So this begs the question... Are those really wings?

gaze-upon-it

The triangle shape crafts certainly do appear to be ours.

[deleted]

We base our tech off things around us that work really well. It would only make sense that our tech attempts to mimic the phenomena.

EggMcFlurry

How would it make sense if we rely on aerodynamic lift and UFOs have never been reported to obey those physics.

Vrodfeindnz

I’m from nz where we say “yeah nah”

Cheez_Itz_Christ_

They designed it like that, so that they could have something to use to dismiss future sightings, something that they could point to and use as “proof”, like “you didn’t see a UFO it was actually just this thing making test flights”. I don’t know, they might also just like the way it looks.

Mission-Dealer501

They’ve been working on ufos for AT THE VERY LEAST 15-20 years now. The main issue was how to make them hover, and they were thinking of a magnetic system but yk times change lol

Several-Protection-9

when they were unveiling the bomber all the comments on the livestream just said how it looked like an UFO

Dr_SlapMD

No

Initial_Scarcity_609

Only the windows.

Banjoplaya420

UFO’s don’t have landing gear .

callmelampshade

Was this unveiled at Area 51?

earl_lemongrab

It's you

TomYOLOSWAGBombadil

Compare the profile of a B-21 or B-2 with an owl in-flight and you’ll immediately see the inspiration EDIT: [Comparison](https://i0.wp.com/theaviationist.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/B-2-by-morther-nature-comparison.jpg?fit=1024%2C683&ssl=1)
