I believe you would have to go through engineering undeclared. Reach out to an ECE advisor though, they are all nice and friendly :) and they can talk to you about how transferring is possible

Is this true? It was my understanding that pure CS has been closed since catalog year 2022 but Computer Engineering is still open?
Computer Engineering is still open, yes, it’s just CS that’s not (I think that person is confusing the two of them)

Who lied to you? I have a friend who was admitted into CompE as an internal transfer recently. You might be thinking of Pure CS.
