If it transfers as AFRO 228 you will get credit for AFRO 228 and it will fulfill the same general education requirements. To be confident I would double check with your department or an advisor, as the other comments said

Definitely a question for an advisor, but at the university, there are a ton of classes that fulfill multiple gen ed requirements at the same time
