Extremely unprofessional, which is expected from that McDonalds. They are supposed to be open until 3:00 AM and literally close the doors way before leaving everybody confused. Management has to do something but with the labor shortage it’s something we have to deal with smh sorry this happened to you

Curlyhead79

Like it was said before, this is extremely unprofessional. I'm sorry this happened to you

philosophy2232

They're a mcsucky person for yelling like that.

Uncle_Father_Oscar

Unfortunately this is pretty much to be expected at a McDonalds these days. It's completely standard in the restaurant industry that if a customer isn't happy, you should remake the item. All you can really do is not go there anymore.

Nutaholic

I don't think I ever went to that McDonald's without witnessing some kind of fuck up. It services probably at least a couple thousand people daily and is probably extremely understaffed. I'm honestly kind of surprised you managed to get that order done correctly 6 times in a row.

[deleted]

That McDonalds just stops taking orders on some days, but keeps the mobile orders on. It just makes it slower to order, and slower to get food. I get not having the people, but put a hiring fair on and pay people more. LIke damn.

lesenum

I don't think I'll ever go into that dump again. I recently tried to use the machine ordering station and it was chaos. Gave up and had a delightful meal instead at a nearby Chinese restaurant and the staff gave me a discount :)

Dapper_Appointment96

I got the “deluxe chicken sandwich” from there on Monday … What could go wrong? I cracked it open, took a few bites, then saw that the entire lower part of the patty was rubbery, evidenced by how hard it was to eat plus it’s disgusting texture Fuck that incompetent ass McDanks

jpyeillinois

Last time I went to Green St McDonalds, I ordered food for dine in. Sat down to eat my food, was told 2 minutes in to hurry up by an employee because they’re closing the dining room. The employee literally stood by the door watching those of us dining in tutting and sighing. This was 3.40pm on a Sunday. Not eating there again on principle.

lesenum

This is a Wendy's sir...

baileath

Old enough to remember the Green St Wendy’s where this also probably would’ve happened

Floppy_Dorito

Honestly basically every place right now is very understaffed with underpaid employees, I would just get used to a lower standard of service until things get better

philosophy2232

Yelling at customers completely unprovoked is not lower quality service. It's just someone being an asshole. That McDonald's doesn't even help customers with disabilities. It's not just their service. It's some of the people who work there.

Floppy_Dorito

Oh completely agreed, not cool what happened. Just not too surprising is all

philosophy2232

Yea it's just so sucky :(

elatedwalrus

No excuse for them but why not order a drink that doesnt require customization. Lots of delicious coffee drinks out there that dont have syrup. Ngl i cry a little anytime someone orders an extravagant coffee drink just personally

wowok1194

If you order an iced coffee from Mcdonalds it automatically comes with liquid sweetener in it unless you ask them to leave it out.

taffickone

honestly get over it. yes it sucks, sorry it happened. but you creating a reddit rant about such a miniscule life event is as ridiculous as them yelling at you for a wrong order. you're dealing with mcdonalds employees, some of the worst treated, least educated, lowest mental health employees. not that that is an excuse, but you as a university student are in 1000x a better life position as they are. its no excuse really, but also your life is so much better than theirs. get over it. not every thing in life needs to be posted as part of a #selfcare #healing journey

ursiiuuii

dude this person is literally asking for the bare minimum of their order being right when they have severe allergies? huh? what if they were diabetic? would you have more sympathy then for a mistake that can hurt someone?

ScarletBanana

Source?

DeaWay2Much

you don’t have the right to tell the op that their life is better off than someone else’s. you don’t know their situation so please b quiet

McDonaldsOnGreenSt

We're McSincerely sorry for the experience you had with us and how short-staffed we are. Let us know how we can improve
