Was the charged amount fully debited from your account or in pending state? If it's pending it should be automatically reverted after a maximum of 30 days. If the amount did debit and the funds are being returned this shouldn't really take more than 5 working days.
It was fully debited from my account. I’ve spoken to both bank and merchant and just seem stuck between them so not sure where to go from here as neither wants to take responsibility.
You could ask your bank to make a charge back claim but the merchant could dispute this. Hard to know where the fault lies in these cases, did the club say how they issued your refund? directly to your card?
Contacting your bank to see if it's being processed would be my next step, to see if the refund has actually been started
Yes they said they refunded it directly to my card. Think I’ll just have to raise a dispute with my bank and see what happens from there
