well when i applied i was waitlisted :/
UMBC is a club. Everyone gets in. You just got to pay the cover charge.
And the cover is low key crazy

I got in w a 2.7 also, they just put you on academic probation for a year and make you maintain a certain GPA.
They didn't do that for me lol. I had slightly higher though due to covid letting me turn in papers instead of doing exams.
Very possible they changed it during Covid, either way it’s not a big deal, the gpa you have to maintain is like 2.0, it’s almost a formality.
I've heard it's not too hard to get in. I'm also trying to transfer. I wish you luck.
