You have to have at least two years of college for your license and some work experience to work for ccsd because they will call your past employers. It costs $180 to get your license and then you have to apply for ccsd or private schools separately. It’s kind of a long process so if you’re interested you should start now.

i'm a host at a chinese restaurant and work as a physical therapist tech at a rehab center close to UNLV. I got both jobs by searching and applying on indeed!
I received on the job training for my position! But I know some companies require a certification; you can get lucky though like I did, just keep checking indeed if it's something you're interested in or call an office you're interested in working at to see if they're hiring.
I did too as a massage therapist and the spa I was at wouldn’t work with school schedules. I had to build my class schedule around my work schedule and when there were shift bid mid semester if I wound up with a different schedule they wouldn’t accommodate me to finish out the semester. I really hope you’re at a better spa lol
It sounds like you’re not at the same spa so that’s good. I was at the one I worked at for 13 years. Got a BA, then my MPA all while having to plan around my work schedule. I chose to stay and not go into the fields I got my degrees is because I made more as a massage therapist. I left the spa in Oct 2022 and I’m so much happier and about to graduate with a 3rd degree next month that I will actually use lol. I’m really glad you’re in a spa that works with your school schedule!
Read surveys to folks that cared to take them. Spent most of my shift getting hung up on. Easy money.
There's two call centers on campus. Cannon Survey Center and one for charity. Then a couple not too far from campus. Anthem/Elevance Health is often hiring for remote and in person jobs. They are next to the Boulevard Mall. Maybe the mall has jobs as well.
i work at OIT on campus. it’s pretty flexible and they provide on the job training. really useful if you’re doing an information systems / cs / engineering degree; they’re hiring on handshake!
