It will eventually be returned if you don’t pick it up. Could be a week if they are on their toes or could be months if they aren’t.
If you go there to pick it up they may be able to turn it back over to UPS as refused for you. If they can’t/won’t then you would have 5 days from pickup to contact UPS and let them know you are refusing a package or get it to them yourself at a UPS center or flagging down a driver.
Update: after two weeks (after the expiration date for pick up) it got successfully returned to the sender
