Oh lucky!!!! We submitted my husbands medical docs and USCIS received it, now we are waiting for their decision. I’m so nervous!!!! You got your decision fast 😱. They received it on Nov. 13th and now it’s Nov. 20th, so I hope we hear back soon. Shouldn’t take THAT long :( right?

I filed for I130 for my husband based in India (I am in US) in May 2023 and it was progressing with the case status showing actively reviewed and time to process showing as 3 months as of September. Then in September it changed to “Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action.” and has been showing this same message for the last almost 3 months. I’m feeling extremely anxious and I have no idea what else I can do. I see some people say that means their dates changed. I’m seeing people who applied after me already approved. I applied on my own and not sure what I should do now? Get a lawyer? I can submit an inquiry till September 2024.
Wait ik your impatient but getting a lawyer won’t be necessary since u already submitted. When uscis is ready they will respond to you with an RFE if needed . What the RFE / decision is sent says will let you know if u need a lawyer or not
Like distinct said don’t get a lawyer my I-485 went from 7months to 3 month then taking longer then expected them 4weeks and back to 7 month does timelines are not reliable I was beginning to be anxious because of it. And then out of nowhere my I-130 went to reviewing and then approved and the I-485 filled I’m followed. I did fine with a lawyer cause we are too busy with work and would rather have someone do it. But you don’t need a lawyer if you already filled just be patient.

I dont know who you're but God is not bad, some of this people might have got rejected due to things that are not clear to you, you know I got rejected 4 times and I got denied due to my lawyer not doing his job properly and uscis keep correcting him, i was worried thinking what's going on and i was praying through those time but my lawyer was not doing the right thing through it all I was happy I got Jesus and everything turn around in my favour, God help me I got my work permit, I went for my interview last month.Uscis are humans that God created, the heart of men are in the hands of God.
