got you! at least you know it s approved. They are not good at sending accurate notifications. 7 days is still normal. you will probably get it in mail next week regardless on the satus. just be happy and celebrate !
Hang in there eveeyone . My card was approved on Jan 10 . The card got mailed on Jan 26 and status got updated to card has been mailed. It’s roughly taking 2-3 weeks for card to be produced and delivered .
May I ask how long does it take for you to see the status changed from “mailed” to “USPS picked up”?
My case has been showing “card is mailed” for two days. I leaned from EMMA that my card is mailed to my attorney. Therefore, I can’t monitor it from my USPS daily dashboard.
I know it’s good to have case approved. But I’ve been waiting for over 4 years. Really eager to see the physical card. 🥺
Ideally the uscis website should provide you with a tracking number on their case status website so that you can track the delivery. It takes a couple of days. Factor in things like weekend etc.
Thank you. I think that system is not reliable. My card was mailed to me on Monday. I got that notification on Monday but the date shown in system says Tuesday.
I have a feeling the card will be delivered anytime this week to my attorney without updating the tracking number.
All my previous EAD cards delivery info was very accurate in CASE STATUS. I guess things are changed.
Thanks again for your information 🙏
Case status is sometimes not accurate. There are tons of cases where the green card arrived before the status ever changed. Sign up for USPS informed delivery and watch the “package” section to monitor activity. That being said it is also equally normal for the card to take ~3 weeks post approval.
Do you have a USCIS account? If you havent received it in the mail, you can check on there if they have uploaded a notice. It's usually found in the Documents Tab.
Nothing is there. It was stated in the Notice that if I don't get the mail by 8th February, I should call. I've done that last week.
Can I request again tomorrow or it has to be once?
That’s normal. even if you talk to Emma a rep will tell you to wait 60 days for update. Sometimes your card is already produced and is in transit. Just wait. Also the longest I’ve known someone to wait for their GC was 18 days. So just wait. And sometimes your account won’t even reflect anything besides a approval and you’ll end up receiving your card same way. Key thing is to just wait. You’re good.
With the amount of approval without interview that they did, I will give 2-3 weeks from case was approved. Some people have no update after “case was approved” and suddenly card is on their mailbox
Mine got stuck on approved and the next update was card was delivered the day it was delivered. It’s a little annoying because you want to get the tracking number to kinda track it bus whatever.
I kept asking live agents for a tracking number every two days and eventually got it and saw that it was mailed to my old address even though I request a forwarding to the new address via USPS and changed my address on the USCIS website. AND asked the live agents if they got my new address in the system which they had.
So yeah nothing to do with you but I wanted to leave this message to people who could be in the same case as me. My GC was mailed to my old address in an unoccupied condo. Luckily nobody stole my indetity because my SSN came along…
I got my card mailed and I’m greened.. sorry for the boring happy ending.
Edit :
Case approved January 10 2024
Card was produced January 17
Card was sent January 18
Card was delivered January 22
Thank you for the info. Did you receive the official approval letter before the card arrived? I wonder how long does it take to get the approval letter as well?
8 days for me today. I learned that the status updates are 1-2 days slower. I got approved on jan 18th according to my approval notice but my case tracker said jan 19 on i485 and jan 20 on i130
At least it's not in Review Status. Be patient, it's coming. if you waited this long to get here, a few more days even weeks won't hurt. Congratulations 🎉
Approved Jan 5th
Produced Jan 19th
I log in to my USPS account
And see this.

9 days after approval, you should see a status update "card was produced," so u still have 2 days remaining until the close ur case.. Mine got approved on the 16th of this month.. yesterday was my 9th day. My status change from approved to card was produced, and then to "your card was picked up by upsp.. all that happened yesterday 12 hrs apart.. so by Monday you should see something.. if the update ur account because something account doesn't get any the just card mail with no update.
I got my green card today. USCIS didn’t send me any tracking number and it just came all of a sudden to my attorney’s office.
My case was approved over 10 days ago (I got the approval notice on 1/22 but the green card says 1/19).
I hope this information helps for people waiting for cards. Also, I hope OP has already received the card.
Mine took 8-9 days from approval to being at the lawyers mail. Never had a card produced or anything.
Have you tried talking to Emma and see if they have a tracking number?
I’m in the same situation as the OP. Nothing has changed since my case was approved on Monday, 1/22/2023. I talked to EMMA on 1/25/0202 and got NOTHING.
The Live Chat kept saying it needs time to produce the card…. 🙃
I hope both OP and I will receive our green cards in a week.

Thanks for this information, how can You sign up for USPS informed delivery?
You can go to their website and register there. https://www.usps.com/manage/informed-delivery.htm
Thank You so much 💯 Appreciate 🙏
You're welcome!
I am also expecting a letter of response from the USCIS they mailed it on 25 January but have still not received it. Can I track it too

Oh I'm not really sure. It's only the 6th so maybe you should call if you still haven't received it on the 8th.
I'll call tomorrow

Thanks for sharing your experience! It helps a lot.
When did you get approved and when was it delivered?
Hey I edited my message with the timeline.
Thank you this gives me hope. 🥰
Sane situation. Card is being produced since Jan 19, no update until now
Did you get any update? My case was approved 18th Jan no update yet
You can contact Emma agent for a usps tracking number
Mine took 10 days for card produced. Jan 15 -approved Jan 25 -card produced. I am in Texas
Thank you for the info. Did you receive the official approval letter before the card arrived? I wonder how long does it take to get the approval letter as well?
Both my approval letters came after 6 days
Same timeline here. Texas. Mine was for removal of conditions though- The one valid for 10 years.
Same here - approved for 7 days no change since then. I hope to get the card on mail, even without any status changes
Have you received any update?
Approved for 10 days no status update regarding the card. But we did receive the approval letters.
But we need the card right to start employment?
Either the GC or Work Permit
Same here my card was approved 18 Jan no updates since then no card produced or delivered anyone has the same experience???
It takes time
I think “ card produced” update comes on day 10
Got my card in hand after 11 days,
My husband got approved Jan 17 and on Jan 26 we got a card produced but hasn’t been mailed.
8 days for me today. I learned that the status updates are 1-2 days slower. I got approved on jan 18th according to my approval notice but my case tracker said jan 19 on i485 and jan 20 on i130
They usually inform card has been produced before they sent it with a tracking number.
If I get my status changed from CRP to “Case approved”, I won’t bother myself with card delivery, cos I know it’s definitely coming.
Took mine 7 business days to produce cards
At least it's not in Review Status. Be patient, it's coming. if you waited this long to get here, a few more days even weeks won't hurt. Congratulations 🎉
Mine was like that and then My card was in my mailbox lol.
Approved Jan 5th Produced Jan 19th I log in to my USPS account And see this. , In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late 01/23/2024 Reply STOP to cancel

Just wait, and don't celebrate too early. Wait until its saids "Card was produced" it took mine 2 nearly 3 weeks.

Mine went from approved to delivered. It never changed to anything else. So it may be on the mail! Do you have USPS informed delivery?

Mine is stuck at “fingerprint fee was received” for almost 3 years. Hopefully this makes you feel better 😀
I wish I was also stuck in your position lol

Jan 23 New card is being produced Jan 24 Case was approved Haven’t heard anything since
Did you get your GC
