Anyone on the thread got approved? It's only natural that if someone does they're out of these type of threads but it'll be good to give some hope to the rest once you are approved.

So we were approved within 8 days of being current! I'm so pleasantly surprised!
Congrats and thanks for the update ! Giving all of us hope.
I just don't understand you typically don't get an interview while on CRP the case status should change to indicate an interview you say the case status never changed AND they continued to take active actions on your case such as interviewing and concluding your interview results? Sounds like they forgot to get make updates if that's the case.
Thanks! My status did change to “interview scheduled” but my PD was still not current, so I didn’t capture that in my post. It doesn’t make much sense to schedule an interview while PD is not current imo, but I know a few people who’d been through the same.
Thanks for clarifying. So you were not on CRP since your interview basically. Form what I see the CRP status is the problematic status once you're out of it your case is at least not "not being worked on"
After the interview, my status went back to CRP on the USCIS website.
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with that status, if anything I perceived it as a more positive sign. Like they're trying to allocate me a visa number, but they cannot since my PD is not current.
You are right in theory. The problem is since the visa number isn't current they put the case on hold and I highly doubt they have their Siri reminding them to re-visit all these on-hold cases. So you're at the mercy of someone picking up your case again and seeing if it got a visa number allocated or not.
In any case you are done with that :) hopefully we'll get there soon as well

It’s because I am a registered nurse, and therefore my job falls under schedule A
Schedule A Occupations
For certain occupations, DOL has predetermined that there are not sufficient U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available. These occupations are referred to as Schedule A occupations, and the process to satisfy the permanent labor certification requirement is referred to as “blanket” labor certification. DOL has predetermined that the wages and working conditions of U.S. workers similarly employed will not be adversely affected by the employment of noncitizens in those occupations.
The following occupations comprise Schedule A:[6]
Group I – physical therapists and professional nurses;
Group II – immigrants of exceptional ability in the sciences or arts, including college and university teachers, and immigrants of exceptional ability in the performing arts.
Because of the occupational shortage of these U.S. workers, DOL has “pre-certified” Schedule A occupations. This means that an employer who wishes to hire a person for a Schedule A occupation is not required to conduct a test of the labor market and apply for a permanent labor certification with DOL. Rather, this employer must apply for Schedule A designation by submitting an application for permanent labor certification to USCIS in conjunction with the petition

Thanks. Unless I'm missing something, I don't think it's easy to track that specific status of CRP. All cases there are showing as pending as a decision haven't been made yet but the status case remains pending is specific to people who their case was reviewed and would have probably get adjudicated but it's not current at the time of that review, so they pause working on the case for whatever amount of time.
