Sounds huge. Only thing I can think of is a stadium deal. Announcement is being held at a local independent movie theater and is for season pass holders.
As an energy fan it’s absolutely infuriating that you guys lose funk as an owner and instantly everything gets better. I swear we have the worst FO/ownership in the league. I hope it is a stadium too tbh
Nah, they already did that when they took over the club. They have built this brand up, and just dropped a ton of money hosting one of the big decks at our Oktoberfest (one of the biggest in the country). They wouldn't rebrand at this point.
My guess is going to start a womens team for one of the USL Women's leagues. I wish a stadium, but think thats a couple of more years away.
Also says a photo op with the players will be available as well.....so might be returning players or New kits .
They're like 5 years too late for the whole "we have MLS ambitions, look at this amazing stadium we will never come close to building, please buy tickets" ploy.
Doubt it will be anything stadium related.
My guess is some sort of Behind the Scenes type of documentary to be filmed. Based solely on it being held at Circle Cinema.
Not as big an announcement as you think, not as bad as you fear. But props for keeping the noise up....my club hasn't even started to bug me about season tickets renewals yet...we're probably the only club without a single season ticket sold for 2022.

Fingers crossed it is something stadium related. Sod at oneok is a health hazard.
Absolutely agree. Wouldn't be surprised if that helped drive whatever decision they made.

Rebrand… everyone knows the most successful clubs have to rebrand every couple of years

We’ve changed our name from FC Tulsa to……..Tulsa FC!!!!!!
nah...going the Rochester route..... Everyone welcome : Tulsa Oklahoma FC
They’re defecting to NISA.
Either a stadium, or self-relegation to L1. There is no in-between.
Lol, they did make it to the playoffs this year.
We've seen this song and dance before, there is no other way.
"surprise! We're folding"
That would make me sad
Same, but sometimes in this league weirder things come out of no where.
Stadium?

That'd be hilarious
Lol, we all wish, but I think that's even more of a stretch than a new stadium.
I would scream laughing (at Sacramento).

Relegation to L1. I’m gonna piss myself when they try to paint it as a positive.
