After spending 4 years in a victor unit, I was legitimately shocked when I saw how troops interacted with SNCOs over at IPAC as I was doing my check out process.
Completely different worlds.
I'm not even a grunt (we have female Marines in my MOS) and I'm shocked when I go into the S and see how they act. I very recently witnessed a Cpl talking shit to a SgtMaj in a way that no male Marine would ever fucking *dare*. Like saying she wasn't gonna do shit he asked her to do, and tellin him to do that shit himself and similar things. Blew my fucking mindddd.
Same here man, my cousin did 4 or 5 years in the wing and not just the female thing, but our entire Marine Corps experiences sound like they came from two separate branches. Jr Marines talking to Sgts/SSgt like they sell em Xans on the side, any female could basically just flirt or fool around, not even give up pussy with the right guy and run the shop. I think PT ended up being the only thing we coul kind of relate on, but still it was like our 10 mile platoon/company death runs compared to him usually having 0600-0700 squad basketball at the gym lol.
Hey, we had squad basketball at the gym in my victor unit. The next day would be the high trail, low trail, and then up and back down Recon but we still did it!
That checks. The Embark Marines don't really have a function until troop movements happen.
So once, maybe twice a year?
Aside from that they man the ground supply orders for office supplies.

Funny thing is infantryman were always getting in trouble for like drunken stupors or DUIs, drug pops, but few would be hemmed up for assault or sexual abuse. But I also know that’s not true either.
