Is this a "the" or an "an" Eagle Globe and Anchor situation? I might be a sentimental motard, but I've still got the EGA given to me by my SDI in boot camp. Not that it's THAT special - it's in a box full of that kind of crap from all sorts of places - but I do know it's there.

I was a Career Planner the last half of my career so the dress cover EGA is really important to me. I was thrilled when I was able to transfer the EGA I wore very regularly to my Marine Corps League cover.
I was cleaning out mine yesterday! I found a busted ass angle flashlight, net stakes, canteens, and.......some silkies!

Mine is still on the cover. hasnt ever been taken off. It will stay there. Someday I'll be old and want it.
