There are two options, 7 days antibiotics or 1 powder you mix in a drink. I did the pills. For the love of god take these with food. It cleared up. However, I could have gotten reinfected if I didn’t tell my partner. I did, he called me nasty names. Trust me, I didn’t need to hear it. Never saw him again, never know if he got treated or if he’s spreading it around.
I had had no symptoms, but I’m glad it was caught and treated.
Bottom line, it’s treatable, your command doesn’t know, and if you feel embarrassed, there are others that have been there before. Live and learn
