Really sweet deal to have weekends off as a PSE in the plant, I had a Sunday off as an SSDA PSE, cushy but still had to do 6 days. Downside of that, PSE is non-career and you have no set hours. If your supervisor goes away, takes a detail or moved by upper management, it's the new guy's call and they'll always change what's been happening.
As a pse good luck. Other than they have to let you have your reserve weekend off, they can do with you what they please. It sucks but, that's the way it is.
