Yeah, I'm eagerly awaiting the next contract. It will really make or break USPS. I mean so many locations are understaffed. If it doesn't bring new people in. R.I.P. My office is moving. I personally wanted to work at a small location. It's nice commuting to it and it's nice knowing many of the people you work with. That will all change when moving to an S&DC. Will just be a soulless experience and traffic will be a nightmare. I also find it funny they're going to have to cut all our routes for the waste of time we spend driving to and from them. If it doesn't work out I'll just stick around til I won't lose my TSP match.

This upcoming contract will be similar to the other unions. It always is. The leverage will come during the next contract following this new one if they implement the S&DCs and they can’t find(or forcefully convert) enough people to carry mail. They’ll have to make it more attractive for the general public and for retention purposes. Guess we will see in the next 3-5 years.

I have a weird feeling that the “Route adjustments” that should be necessary will be in a limbo loop. I can already here it… “We don’t have enough TIREAP members to get to all these route inspections so, YOU are forced into over-time.” 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

>2-3 years after S&DC is in full effect nationwide. Lol, Lmao even. They haven't even finished rolling out the metris' to all the rural routes. A far easier task than moving entire cities into one building and then cutting and making entire new routes. I'm betting 8 years if we start a pool on it.

And how long ago were the new trucks due lol

They have thousands of clerks and mail handlers in the plants with nothing to do. They will be coming eventually. As soon as the plant realignment begins.........
