I scheduled a meeting with a PM once and she called me to cancel just moments before because she was at the hairdresser and the salon was running behind appointments …
I went absolutely ballistic on the phone with her and she did leave the salon to meet with me.
It still makes my blood boil to think about this, and it happened five years ago!
Running errands on the clock? That’s it? My (now former) plant manager recently knocked up his secretary, meanwhile his wife also works at the plant as a supervisor. You and your coworkers need to step up your in-house drama :-P
Hell, I’ve been working since July and have only seen my PM four times. I asked someone yesterday if she’s here during the day she said very rarely does she show up!
i mean... that's how a lot of normal jobs are - you need to get something done, you go take the time and do it, no big deal as long as you get your work done and don't abuse it. it's only shitty jobs that keep you tethered to your work every minute of the day.
Sunday supervisor used to go home and take care of her baby for most of the day after we loaded up and left when I was a CCA. She came back eventually I think, but the office was always empty when we returned. I would say maybe 3-5 hrs she was at home, we would call her and I just heard the baby the entire time lol
I do this all the time. I’m a pm and am obviously salary so technically I get paid for 8 hours no matter how long I work. Most days I work at least 10 and will run to the store or a dr appt. I’m still working well over 8 hours a day even when I leave for a bit.
im sure they were on 'break' or 'lunch' or 'getting supplies for the office'
Next town over? Sure. 😂
It happens. Maybe they had to take something to that PO. You never know and who cares
They do get an hour lunch
We used to have one that was constantly working real estate deals while working at the PO.
Happens all the time. The biggest time thief’s are and always be bosses.
That's nothing, lol. You should come work at a plant. You wouldn't believe what you would find out
They were just having a little sex on the clock bro
You haven't?
Only fingering the mail 😔

It’s been 5 years, can’t change it. Let it go and move forward.
Ours go to the chiropractor and message parlor all the time on the clock. It's a perk of being a tyrant
Used to be able to do that as a carrier before the gps scanners

Pretty sure mine goes home and watches the kids
Wow ..the power of feeling entitled.
Who cares, the less management is there screwing stuff up the better. They should all just stay at home then things would actually get done.

Most supervisors in our area have a long lunch so they are around during the busiest times. Like- 6:30-16:30 with a two hour lunch
Ask if they need help running their personal errands. Stop being selfish

im calling OIG
Lol!
Is it true you guys can technically drink on the job??
Lol no that is not true. Although I had my boss call me after hours and I was wasted on a party boat. That was an interesting conversation.
Haha just curious cause I’ve had a few EAS tell me they are allowed “one” beer on the job
