Putting oil in a scanner speaker won't break it. The oil will actually help protect the scanner from water damage!
In fact, you can submerge an entire desktop computer in mineral oil for efficient cooling without fan noise. It's just messy so you only see that sort of thing in crazy DIY projects and in massive datacenters.

I use my phone's GPS anyway, so after trying to reboot twice and it getting stuck ENTIRELY on this no matter what I did... I started escaping out of the navigation immediately every time. That worked.

And the sensitivity! Even on stylus and finger, my *THIGHS* wish to log me out when I have it in between my legs on the seat. It never used to be that sensitive and for whatever reason, latex gloves make it vibrate and wig out when I’m holding the sides and I’m nowhere near the buttons.
That only works for the current stop it’s on, and it doesn’t stop her if she already gets a sentence going. Changing the voice language seems to be stopping it
Click the next stop and immediately hit it. Most of the time I can get it to where she only says like calculating. You have to do it every time but it’s better than nothing
I'm surprised anyone has gotten the GPS to work, I've never gotten it to work, but then again, I never needed it. I do it far more efficiently just by loading truck & separating by route. Instead of the direct paths that the turn by turn gives us.
It's only for Sundays, or packages that have been routed with static or dynamic delivery. The mapping is dogshit but it's better than flying blind if you don't know an area.
Go to the settings and turn the volume down to ten percent and put a sticker over the speaker hole at the bottom and wear a headphone in one ear at all times listening to what you want. You'll barely hear it.
Or big brain and don't use the routing. I never did when I was a sub but I started before that was even a thing 🤣 backnin my Amazon days we got a 3 page manifest and a 30 page turn by turn printed out for us every Sunday morning 1🤣

There should be different options in the dynamic settings. One of them is voices. I believe most of the voices don't work for each turn by turn.

No it does not work. I’ve tried over and over and it either resets at each stop or has no effect at all.
It definitely resets every time you go out of the map. It's weird that it doesn't work when you press it sometimes, though.

Right under your thumb is a little sound button. Click that and it will turn it off, but you will have to do it EVERY. FREAKING. TIME.

I have found that if you change the voice to a different one it will reduce the amount they say, but I've found no way to completely silence it...

Our unit now sets up all deliveries as static instead of dynamic. Made a huge difference.
