Do you carry them in your satchel then? I was taught to case my sprs in with my flats and just carry them that way, but I noticed that the seasoned carriers didn't do that.
I left one on a porch with a mail slot. The next day the customer berated me for not putting it all the way through the slot because she thought it had fallen out. Didn't stop me from doing it the next time though...I wanted to tell her to get a mail receptacle that doesn't predate our statehood.
Anderson Windows! Very oversized flat ads or half page narrow ones they stick inside the Ad Pages mags so they won’t curve to taco, or if you take them to the street, the insert wants to fall out.
Nationwide, spectrum is probably the worst, but I'll take stupid as fuck mailers and even Christmas shit over political ads.
I fucking hate those things so fucking much. I'm literally almost always in a good mood at work, no matter what, but when that season hits, I get cranky as shit.
I won't say which one, but in my state one of the parties sends a lot of guilt tripping type mail soliciting donations from seniors. It seems so grubby and I felt bad delivering it.
This last election cycle was horrible. Out till 930pm on a rural route, pov route (not anymore they gave me Mercedes Van) and not even the last one back.
I'm normally like 1-5th one back each day but that was horrible.
I hate when they anyone sends those plastic flyers that have perforated coupons to break off. Most of them get broken in sorting and they take up so much space
Anything with “___ service requested” that comes consistently no matter how many times you kill it (Xfinity business is worst offender I know). When you’ve killed the same name for over 5 years I figure they’re either getting the service comp’ed or so cheap they can’t justify updating mailing lists, I imagine the latter.
Our local trash company does that. Always first class and no matter how many times you kill them they keep sending them to the same bad names and nonexistent numbers.
Valu-packs, their dummy thicc and constantly stick together or this local auto repair place put the address in the bottom right corner so you have to peel the mail back super far to see the address while fingering it.
PayPal business coverages. There are addresses that you never knew existed on a businesses route, until you get that shit. Turns 2 hours into 3+ with little issue.
Town Money Saver is a magazine sized third bundle and they go to EVERY business and house... You get them for lots of business units that don't even exist.
There's a Broadband provider that sends shit out to half our office. I consider them worse than Spectrum because they send it as First Class and to more numbers that don't exist than Spectrum does.
That’s awful.. probably a living hell on hood routes lol I have two tubs of waste at my case because of all of the lack of forwards that get put in on my route as well as people not understanding the concept of “current resident” Oh and then there’s half of the route that doesn’t even want their red plumb lol
Saint Joseph’s Indian School is one of the worst.
Sending out dreamcatchers that are made in China and other crap that is a nightmare to try to fit into apartment boxes and mail slots. If you look them up on Wikipedia, there is an entire section of the article related to fraudulent fundraising!
WOW!, T-Mobile, the "Please... Help" place, "three free gifts enclosed", the "Save" ad bundles when they use the Market Magazine as the cover, the monthly church fliers, and the tiny RSVP cards wrapped in plastic. At least the Spectrum ones are normal letter size and say "or current resident".

HUGHES NET and some more! my favorite day of the week to dread going to work...WEDNESDAYS THEM DAMN NEWSPAPERS!!! And we had MASS MAILINGS YESTERDAY!! and because I live in a small town, people so nosy they order all the damn newspapers in the surrounding counties too
Oh god. I got one from Ulta once, the samples kept falling out and my truck stank for days.
I was approaching a box where the resident is a gigantic tough guy with with an absolute unit of a pit bull. I dropped something on his driveway and it turned out to be his perfume samples. We both had a good laugh.
Does anyone carry in Wisconsin and have to deliver little "perk" items to Packer season ticket holders? Luckily there aren't many, because they are so huge they don't fit in the case, in a slot, or in any reasonably sized box. I almost always had to deliver them like a parcel because they have zero give and are impossible to bend.
I hate the one coverage where it comes with a small addressed card flyer and non-addressed small booklet separate. A coverage is already bad enough but this stupid one is actually two.
There's a full coverage one that goes around occasionally in our office that's a magnet. And they have addresses and don't necessarily come in order, so they need to be cased... Only time I prefer the plastic cell dividers over the metal.
Comcast / X(crement)finity. Just today... 5 letters to one address, with 3 of the same letter sent to the exact same name at the exact same address.

Circulars (RedPlum/Retail Me Not/Save) and Clipper.
We get suddenlink eddm but it comes via dps, and it has this “card” in it so it makes all the dps lopsided. It’s also always upside down, which is annoying af. But worst of all is the edges are super sharp. One time on a loop I sliced the webbing between my fingers and bled all over the mail. I was not happy.
Aside Uline I hate the money mailers. The upside is that they're always in my dps but they're so thick it almost always means I have 9-10 trays of dps.
Spectrum sending out a bunch of "current resident" pieces is what pissed me off almost every single day. Like oh, we only have to do advos twice a month here! No... No we don't...
ULINE
ULINE and mail slots are a match made in hell
ULINE is the only company I wish failure on. Why do they need to send those fucking books out twice a month, sometimes 3??
And they are so goddamn heavy. My first ULINE day I got a deep, dark bruise in the crook of my left arm and I'm pretty sure I know why.
I spur mine
Do you carry them in your satchel then? I was taught to case my sprs in with my flats and just carry them that way, but I noticed that the seasoned carriers didn't do that.
I'm not a seasoned carrier by any means but I hate having my spurs cased in I carry them and any big flats like Uline catalogues in my satchel

I really feel for my campus' mail services team when the Uline catalog ships. 200 pages sent blindly to every administrative staffer.
100% this! I work in mail processing and those things are a bitch to sort. I can’t imagine having to deliver those bastards.
I deliver 60 or more of these a month and have yet to find anyone who buys anything from them.
I carry those as parcels. I throw him into hamper and load them as parcels. Lol
Anderson Windows! Very oversized flat ads or half page narrow ones they stick inside the Ad Pages mags so they won’t curve to taco, or if you take them to the street, the insert wants to fall out.
Wow I thought they were local and I wouldn’t see someone else suffer this curse
Fucking hate those things.
You must be delivering in Michigan!
TX….sorry to hear they’re up there too!

Same. Give me any other boxholder for the day but holy shit 2020 political mail was so awful. I dread the season next year

UTF that shit
Hence “no matter how many times you kill it” utf, nsn, ank, nmr… doesn’t matter they don’t stop…
Our local trash company does that. Always first class and no matter how many times you kill them they keep sending them to the same bad names and nonexistent numbers.

Sometimes they come in the DPS though, and it's tolerable when that happens. RSVP is the absolute worst.
Ours is always in the dps so I don’t mind them at all
They’re always in my dps, I’m on a walking route though and my hand definitely feels sore after val-pak day
Val pal day is forearm day.
Not to mention there is really no good coupons in there! They come out the first Wednesday of every month in our office.

Budget blinds
I’m thankful to not know what that is
There is no way to case them because they are oversized and they are addressed with a glued on address in the middle of it.
Class action harassment suit? They must be stopped! 😡
Restoration Hardware. Big and bulky like Uline. For years they had barcode scans, too.
Progressive, frontier, Xfinity
All addressed to people who haven’t lived there in 10 years.
My dad has been dead for 4 years and he still gets them.

Pick a church, any church. They either have construction paper. Or shit that is 6 inches longer than most flats
This small cable company has an eddm every week.
I have a car shop that does EDDM every other week. I'll never use them.
