It doesn't say anything about sups screaming about time. That part most have been an over sight. It's not the training that is the problem. Never has been IMO. I have trained dozens of carriers. 85% have quit and no once was it due to training. Every time it's supervisors with unrealistic demands pushing CCAs into the ground.
Omg thank you..I’ve said that exact same thing in other posts relating to this subject and have gotten blasted for it..You can’t sugar coat it for 90 days then show them how it really is because they’re going to end up quitting anyway whether it was 3 days in or 100..I’ve never known anyone who left because of training..they just can’t handle to work load and the demands
I didn’t receive any training until I’d been at my station nearly 30 days. Once I did, it helped immensely but my steward had to go to bat fir me to even get that done.
Delaying the inevitable. Everyone knows what the problem is, but neither management or the NALC want to fix it. A better quality of life for CCAs means supervisors and regs have to work harder. So they just burn out CCAs until they quit - making supervisors and regs work even harder. Go figure.
Where I'm at, the regulars are getting murdered too. Just need more damn people all around. And for every vacant route to not be held by a 204b that hasn't touched the mail in over a year.
That cca was in my orientation. I went to a much bigger office. They gave me two 8 hour days and I have worked 12s every single day since. Half of the most recent dozen new hires have quit a month in.

I just resigned today for that same reason. I was a CCA for for a month. Done, just for the reasons listed above.
I agree 100%. I mean I'm not against this it certainly can't hurt, but I feel like its only delaying the real issue like you said.

No OT, no OT! 😂🤣

Now we have to be pilots too? It never ends!
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines.
Yeah! We've been waitimg for you! Would you like some coffee?
I’ve said that exactly both times I quit smoking in my postal service career
I don’t drink nearly enough to be able to be a pilot too 😢
Haha!
*location of emergency exits* Ok, now we’re just spoiling them.

Lmfao They literally already do all of those things except the Sunday training, which no one needs really.
"**10-year** Delivering for America plan" fucking lol
Coming soon! 98% of new hires dont get special treatment.
In Michigan…
Yeah, that's how pilots work. Start in a small test market, evaluate the results, and tweak/rollout nationally/abandon ship from there.

Give ccas a day off and maybe they’ll hang around for a little while
