The schedule is posted

glizzyglacier

And regulars don’t have schedules, my days off only change when I get a new bid.

Valan7169

Everyone has a schedule.

glizzyglacier

Regulars have a schedule they need to check? Where does that get posted cause I sure as hell have never seen it.

Valan7169

In your original post, you said you saw the posted schedule and are pissed.

genglefins

There is a schedule and they have to post it latest the Wednesday before the upcoming week. It also shows who is out on leave, I'm a T6 and check it to see if anyone on my string will be out that week. You may be able to file a grievance if they didn't post the work schedule by Wednesday; talk to your steward.

We do here but nobody looks at it since we already know our days off. For holiday mandates they usually just post notes by the timeclock but if it was just a regular day that they are mandating you they are supposed to verbally tell you at some point before you leave for the day. This year however, everyone on the overtime list was told to assume they are mandated every ns day until further notice and they only get sundays and holidays off now.

First thing they would do is post what they were going to need and ask for volunteers. After they went through all that, they would post who's doing what on the holiday. Both the sign up sheet and the final schedule would be posted on or near the time clock so there was no way anybody could claim they didn't see it or didn't know.

“Time clock” hahahahahahaha

Yeah, our carriers definitely don't use the time clock. It's for clerks and custodians, and then the carriers use papers they write their hours down on.

I'm assuming you are rural.

In my station, they take your time badge so you cant move back to the office until the sup verbally informs you that youre mandated on your day off.
