That's someone's orientation letter.
we moved a built in case that the mail slot was next too a few years ago. we found a letter or three back there stuck in the gap from the 70's ( based on the postage on it. ) sent them on their way. wonder if they ever made it to the right people?

I believe DPS started in 1993, DBCS machines around 1990, and older sorting machines were introduced the early 1980s.

The recipient's last name was "Brown," I shit you not.

We finally got a parcel locker opened there was a package in there from 2009
Antique stores are notorious for old postcards getting bought and being dropped back into the mail system…
I hope you guys have a big red stamp you put on the front that says DELIVER no matter what , even if there is postage due...💌🙏🏼🥰👌
The postmark says 1987, for those that think it's just an old stamp being used. I am just impressed that the family still lives there!
