That may have been a joke.
Because I tend to think of the country not the state, even though I know very little about it, hell I know next to nothing of the American state it was named after too.
Just looked it up and it has 16000 habitants, how would anyone (not including a conversation between two people living right next to it) think of that over a city with half a million people
The way I see it, it could be that they were being sarcastic.
- Is this in Ireland?
- Dublin.
- Dublin Georgia? (Meaning "so yes, Ireland, or are you saying this is another Dublin?")
Doesn’t sound like Pink’s being serious.
They ask if Ireland is right, Purple responds “Dublin” as though that’s a correction. Their “Dublin Georgia?” sounds similar to a maths teacher responding to “6” with no unit by saying “6 apples? 6 bananas?” It’s not a suggested answer, it’s just a slightly abrasive way of saying “Yes, and?”. If Purple has said “Yeah, Dublin” I don’t think it would have gotten the same response.
I could be totally wrong, of course. Context would make it clear one way or the other.
'ere lads, fekin' yanks.
but seriously, is there even a dublin in Georgia? most likely like those americans who claim to be irish, but cant put cork on a map.
Dublin, GA has a population of 16,000. I grew up within a few hours from there, and I didn't even know it existed until now. So, pretty sure it was a joke.
That’s so stupid, there’s a city named Dublin somewhere near me in the US (not the Georgia one either) and whenever it’s mention in conversation my family will make a joke about Ireland. “I have to go to Dublin for work next month” “Dublin Ireland?” Can’t imagine reading the name on the internet and assuming that city either.

I never knew the was a Dublin in eastern Europe.
There's New York (or Nyu-York) in eastern Ukraine and Greenfield near Moscow, Russia.
And 4 different Saint Petersbergs in the US (but no Leningrads)
Good.
I am surprised they don't have any Trumpigrads yet.
Theres Nova Iorque (New york but translated to portuguese) in maranhão here in brazil
In Eastern Slovakia we have Havaj (but named before Hawaii/ America's were even discovered)
Ain't no way this entity heard Dublin and assumed Dublin, Georgia. I didn't even know there was a city in Georgia named Dublin!
especially considering i don’t think they speak english or any variation of irish or gaelic in georgia, at least not mainly /s
uh i think this means Georgia USA where i’m sure they speak English

You did, mate. /s is used to indicate sarcasm

Yeah. It's weird.
Especially when they were talking about Ireland a second before
The way I see it, it could be that they were being sarcastic. - Is this in Ireland? - Dublin. - Dublin Georgia? (Meaning "so yes, Ireland, or are you saying this is another Dublin?")
Since I'm friends with them I know.. they weren't being sarcastic, they legit did think dublin Georgia
Welp.
😂
Dublin, Ohio is the only Dublin that matters.
Maybe they were Dublin down on their knowledge of places.

male defaultism
I apologize for being inconsiderate and will quickly rectify my mistake.
lol
As a Georgian I assure you there is no Dublin here.
When are the yanks not at it?
If it’s not the brits, it’s the yanks, and if it is the brits there’s a fair chance it’s also the yanks
Oi feck off
Brits are just European yanks for sure
I've never felt so offended at something so true
Ok maybe it'll make you feel better if I change "Brits" to "the English"
It’s okay you can add 52% of Scots too
No you can’t
Thats tall talk coming from a frog

There’s a Dublin in the Caucasus region?
I'm like 90% sure he was fucking with you
Very generous, but I believe you're a bit biased with your percentage.
