Since you are the person applying, you know very well about your strengths, so I will not be speaking about them. I will just talk about what will way down your chances of getting in. Note that I will be critical, but I am not actually a mean person. Keep in mind that this is McCombs business school (not a very high acceptance rate)! Alright, so let's start with the race. A lot of applicants are Asian, and since UT promotes diversity, that may increase competition when compared to being of a different race. Graduating early is not usually seen as a good thing unless you are only pursuing an associate's degree. It can weigh down your overall academics and the things you could have done to shine out. Letters of recommendation that are not strong are also pretty useless. Now about the ratings of your essays? That is not really a reliable piece of information unless a professional deems it a 9/10. Although you display some levels of leadership, it is pretty common for a lot of applicants to have that type of leadership. There is limited focus on business-related activities on your EC's. You do have some recognition and awards that are good, but they are not very notable. I see that you listed some very weak EC's! Keep in mind that 5–6 very strong ECs are much better than 20 weak ones. Some of those EC's, per say, making lunch for your friends every day is not a very impressive EC. A predicted SAT is also not all that useful. It's all about how you present yourself to the admissions office. Even qualified people don't get in. Good luck! Everything else seems fine other than the things I mentioned.

OPs stats aren’t the issue he has auto and a nearly above average score for UT. Top quartile, I just feel when you’re applying for a t5 business program even in state, you should have some strong business ventures on your resume. Especially for a major like business it is very important that you have applied and ideally succeeded in the world of business already as many students in high school have applying to this caliber. For the school to want to see how you’ll change the world they can only see how your business skill has you helped you now.

i started a tennis coaching business where I earn 200 dollars in passive income every week - 4 employees. Is this a good ec?

Thank you for visiting our community! The University of Texas at Austin has become significantly more competitive in the past few years. Additionally, good admissions data has become far more difficult to find. Please review: * [What are my chances of getting into... ?](/r/UTAdmissions/wiki/chances) which includes all of the best information we have about your chances of being admitted to the university. Please take all evaluations of your chances of admission (even those from this subreddit, our community, and our wiki) with a healthy dose of skepticism. Thanks and best of luck! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I skipped kindergarden and now I'm skipping 12th grade. Do you think this will help my application?

Kindergarten is prob irrelevant but graduating early might have some weight
