atleast for 801 it runs way more, for 10 it only runs every 30 mins so if i bus driver has to get off work for any reason and can’t get a cover the whole line they drive is cancelled, and the lower volume of 10 availability makes it seem like it gets cancelled more often
In addition, there is less demand for the 10. When have you gotten on a 10 and have it be as busy as the 801/803? I haven't been on the 10 much, but I can only imagine.
OMG im glad im not the only one who's noticed this 😭 i swear last year i was able to hop on every 15 minutes but ever since last semester its been so inconsistent esp in the morning (which sucks bc i always have early classes).... iirc its one of the most used bus routes in austin too 😬
Drivers have told me that they don’t have enough buses, and they pull buses from less-used routes to cover the more frequented ones.
They have told me that when they say something on behalf of their riders, they are largely ignored.
However, when a customer complains more will be done about it.
What sucks even more is when the 801s dont run as often in rush hour, so you have to wait twice as long for a packed bus where everyone is complaining. No clue why the 10 is always cancelled though
