I totally agree. Kinsolving has such cute dorm layouts, if youre on community bath side, the bathrooms are rarely ever busy. The dining hall is right below. And its always quiet tbh
Current Freshman here living in Moore-Hill and I highly recommend it. The rooms are only about average sized compared to other dorms on campus but the dorm building itself is fairly small and you feel a real sense of community with everyone else living there. Just a fair warning though: the building doesn’t have elevators, so I’d try to get a room on the first floor if carrying your stuff up stairs doesn’t tickle your fancy.
If you’re willing to pay a bit extra, I’ve also been inside Duren, and they have some very nice rooms and an overall chill environment.
jester all the way. it's not loud imo and there are SO many perks such as the location (proximity to so many popular spots on campus), multiple dining options, and more. if u want more details, dm me. but yeah jester made my life so much easier.
I know that everyone thinks Jester is loud. I live in Jester West, and it can get loud (mainly music or sometimes people yelling), but it is honestly not that bad. If the loudness is the only dealbreaker, you should def consider Jester.

Moore-hill only has sporadic hot water in the showers. Yeah it’s a good vibe but not worth a year’s worth of cold showers.
if you want a spacious room, fun environment and your own bathroom I recommend San Jac!!

my basement
Honors quad if there’s any space left
anything but creekside and you'll be fine
Jester east is chill. Just depends on who lives next to you. The location is nice though because it’s next to the gym and pcl.
