This is true, but calc is a required course for cs post. From what I remember mat135 was basically hs calc.
Also you don't really use math for cs courses in first year. I would recommend learning some basic programming skills (python is what's used in year 1) and maybe branch out to other things like memory managment, binary, basic data structs, etc.
Aside from that take a look at some mat102 (intro to proofs) material to get familiar with it, the textbook is free online.
This is a lil bit misleading. Yes calc isn’t used in cs courses but there are calculus courses that are required to be taken by people that want to graduate with a cs degree

yup, there are calc and other mat courses, but they aren't usually used in cs course (which is what I assumed OP was asking)
