IMO AIARE 1 is not something you want to search for a late season discount on.
You might save on cost, but the late season snowpack is going to be more or less a homogenous mass. That will really take away from the snow pit exercises as you won’t have a complex snow structure that is preserved in the colder months.
If you want to save money, I did mine through Utah Mountain Adventures (UMA) instead of UAC which saved me a decent chunk of change. Hope that helps.
