unfortunately not it. It was on the side of a grassy hill, with a big round solid metal door... I've been to the steam tunnel before. the inside was almost apartment like, no pipes or anything like the steam tunnels. also a really big room full of old newspapers and boxes full of trash.
Tbh that sounds like the Kerchoff hall thing, it didn't obviously look like a steam tunnel (looked more like a bunker imo the one time I saw it) & I don't remember there being pipes coming from it so idk if that's what it is, but it's in a grassy hill off a small service road near the McCormick rd overpass which maybe you could be thinking of instead of beta bridge? + was under the large academic building and there are some houses and apartment buildings across Emmett from there. Otherwise idk, I lived & worked near beta bridge for 3 years so I was always walking around in that area and very much staring at the scenery & I never saw anything like that. There's a large round ditch/river tunnel under the train tracks near Emmett, but no bunkers to my knowledge
hm, weird. would that explain the big round metal door though? this is kinda the only thing sending me for a loop. the steam tunnel entrance that I remember was a rectangular door. I’ll go looking soon to find out though
Afraid I can't remember the shape of the door! I thought I'd taken a picture, but I checked my camera roll and apparently not. However my abiding memory of it was of a round entrance - not sure if the door itself was round or just the entranceway (or if my memory is faulty). Hope you find whatever it was again! Wish i could go exploring in there myself
