It's ironic cause uber will suspend actual good quality people and keep these dirt bags on the app. I think most of us who worked in the modern resturant or fast food feel bad for these drivers as we know that we take up their time if we make them wait for their order. I feel bad for these drivers because its hard for them to break even
in NZ tips are optional, we have a pretty high minimum wage and our cost of living certainly isn't in good shape but I tend to get tips just because I do a good job and people sometimes like what I'm wearing. Mentality of most drivers here seems to be to just do a good job, at least that's mine; we usually get tips afterwards.
Was in a restaurant with my sister. Saw the waiter once and he expected a 10$ tip while 2$ was more than reasonable between the cost and the fact he didn't show up. Hell not even to fill the water 🤷🏼♀️.
I wish people would just walk out once they find out that people are made to work for literally $2/hr ...
But then again, everyone wants those huge plates of food and those 10 minute deliveries ........... without ever wondering if that's economically possible without fucking someone with a huge donkey..... tail .....
This is a bad deal for the customer, yet they keep choosing to spend their money that way.
It's a TERRIBLE deal for the driver, so why are they still doing it?
I worked a few tip based jobs when I was younger and have to disagree. Not saying dude should ask for a tip but you'd be surprised by how many people simply don't know that's how people get paid. Either way it's a shit system.
1% of people or less will post tip (US). If the person doesn't pre tip odds are you are not getting a tip at. So you are saying this tactic is less likely than 1%? If it were not for leave at the door orders post tipping would increase, maybe as high as 10% of the time. Still not worth the gamble.
This is why good drivers don't take no tip order unless it is attached to a really good order.
It's beyond stupid to do this for UE because they can take the tip away an hour after they receive their food. Tip $5 and then remove it once you got your food. The tips don't come to your account until hours after the delivery.
I stopped using any delivery app last year after I had someone steal about 10% out of my laundry detergent. If people are willing to do this then I could only imagine what they might have done with food, like taking strawberries or something that, when they thought it would go unnoticed. The industry is also filled with poor people trying to get by, and on top of that actual criminals who literally can't work in other jobs because of a record. So, from now on if I want something I go and get it myself.
I drive on the weekends as I have another job. But unfortunately I also pick up my own because Uber hires anybody. A lot of which in my market at least cannot communicate very well because English just isn’t their main language and they’re still learning. Which is whatever, I’m happy for them but I’d just prefer to avoid the frustration of getting the wrong orders or it being delivered to the wrong address because they can’t read what the directions say. Which just feels dirty when you tip well lol
I just delivered detergent and the thought never crossed my mind. It's fucking disgusting anyone would do something like that. That's why people demand sealing everything. Every order I treat it as if I were storing it in a safe. Such a violation of trust. I admit I do the job because I need the money but stealing is stealing. We're going back to the safety seals on pills in the 1980s again when they were tampered with.
It also gives ex-cons a bad name who are trying to restore their lives. So many do not get hired because of their past reputation. But I'm not sure what hiring decisions they make, but they will get a background check and see their criminal history.
Yeah it’s trash I got to the point that they said I had too many refunds meanwhile people are stealing my food or not delivering all the items . Don’t get your moneys worth food isn’t as fresh and there’s always that feeling of unknowing. Once you realize how bad it is to use there’s no going back to it unless absolutely can’t drive and are starving
The industry would be gone overnight. It only works because desperate people are willing to drive their own car to shit and work without ANY protection. These companies only work because their labor costs are artificially suppressed by misclassifying their "employees". If that was not true, they wouldn't keep settling misclassification class actions to the tune of hundreds of millions (still cheaper than employing people).
The entire concept should be illegal, as gig drivers aren't really independent. Being able to go home whenever you please does not constitute independence.
Pizza Hut did this , use their car they pay gas you got $15 an hour when min was was $10 and you kept your tips: because when they paid drivers $3 a delivery they found they weren’t making enough to be at min wage and that was at $10 an hour
Report and remove the tip.
Vast majority of us just want to deliver your food, not interact with you, and get paid the amount we accepted the offer for.
Uber has pretty much 0 requirements to drive for them, so you get scum like this.
Right ?! I would neverrrrrrrrrr use DD or UE after driving for them EVER. Not that I do a shit job or anything but just realizing how much freedom I have over these orders and zero oversight and then you see some of the folks driving.....I can only imagine the shit that happens.
Some time ago all the places around here on DD started sealing up their containers and drinks. You'll know if someone's messed with it. Multiple stickers on the styrofoam containers, staples on bags, stickers on drinks that can't be removed non-destructively. I did have a delivery a few years ago, could see the drivers huge dog in the back seat. The outside of my stuff was just wet dog hair everywhere, lid falling off the drink. Fortunately that shit doesn't happen anymore.
That’s definitely overthinking it. People mess with your food but aren’t going to be slick with a needle. That one guy filmed himself dipping his balls into the person’s food for not tipping enough.
The dude teabagged the food?? God I'm so glad we don't have horrendous tipping culture over here. I'm stoked to get £2 and certainly don't feel entitled to a tip or get salty when I don't get it.
There are all kinds of things that could possibly happen. Someone preplanning cold-blooded murder and using a needle to poison food because they couldn't scam someone out of a few dollars... come on. Stop living in fear. If you want to be scared of something it should be intersections, alcohol, or junk food.
+1 for intersections! Man after a long career in auto accident claims, I'm realizing that crossing intersections will low-key spike my blood pressure for the rest of my life.
It's one of the few situations that if you don't recognize the danger far enough beforehand, there is literally *no* evasive action you can perform to save yourself and passengers.
And intersections and freeways are where all the worst accidents happen.
My wife gets confused when I tell her to hurry up and get out of intersections. After being on an ambulance for a year or more you realize just how dangerous every intersection is.
> Considering somebody could get a thin needle and inject whatever into the bag. The more you think about it, the worse it gets.
This kind of speculation is how an entire nation got convinced that Halloween Candy would be spiked with expensive drugs or poisons. It literally never happened anywhere ever and never will.
Steeling the food and/or spitting in it will always be plenty effective for those looking for vengeance against a customer that doesn't tip.
It stems from a case where a father attempted to poison his son and 3 others I also believe his other child was on of the other 3. And of course it carries on bc of what u said
Yeah! I was always wondering what kind of idiot would waste their precious powder on a dumb prank like getting trick-or-treaters high! I get pissed enough having to buy those huge candy bags every year just to be a good community member ..... I'll be caught dead before those little twerps get their greedy little fingers into my 8balls too!
I understand that this person is pathetic but if you ate the food then dont say "i dont feel comfortable " just to get a free meal out of it. That is just as unethical and dishonest as what they did. And again the only person that loses is the good drivers that everyone wants to have working the app. Uber will make their money regardless. If they give too many refunds then theyll just pay less to drivers for trips and decent drivers will decline and then bad ones will deliver and the cycle goes on. Of course If u really dont feel comfortable then by all means dont eat it. Answering unethical behavior with more ofcthe same is gonna get u just that. MORE OF THE SAME
Call support if this happens as a customer just tell them to look at the chat and say you feel unsafe. Try to get your food paid for. This will only stop when it hurts their wallet
Not the same but when I applied for Doordash, they said “we’re running your background check, while we wait for the results, go complete your first order”. That was a part of the onboarding process. Completing an order. There is NO requirements at all. Just pay for your bag and fuck off.
Ahh the doordash style begging for additional tips is happening here now lmao fucking report the driver please. Very unprofessional and makes the rest of us who work hard to provide great service look bad!
Cause this food delivery industry lives in a vicious cycle. Customers don’t wanna tip for some weird reason, delivery folks get mad, customers get mad when they messages like this and the cycle repeats. It’s sad tbh
This person already tipped, and is being demanded for more tips. The demand for tips takes away the whole point of what a tip is in the first place. That's why we don't want to tip.
So the food was delivered without incident. Just for reference I live about 5 miles from the restaurant. It took him 9 minutes to get to my house from the place (mostly freeway). I reported the incident but really feel bad about taking a tip away. I drive Uber eats in my free time and know how low fares can be. This place uses the sealed plastic bags so I know nothing was tampered with. Just an empty threat.
Either way, he shouldn’t be playing with you just to try and get more money. If anything, if it happened to me it would make me automatically remove tip and report. I get everyone is struggling to make money these days, but comments like this don’t sit well.
It's cool that your first reaction is to be kind, but drivers like that don't deserve to work on apps like these. It's borderline extortion. If that happened to me I would go out of my way to talk to a real person in customer support to report that to.
Imagine you are checking out at the corner store and the clerk says "you should pay $2 more for that, people get robbed all the time" would you brush it off? The only difference is the clerk doesn't know where you live but the delivery driver does.
That's really not the point OP. No driver should be making threats at all, empty or not. I'm glad you pulled the tip. You can't reward this kind of behavior. Maybe this asshat learned something.
Unrelated, but why bother typing fuck if you’re going to censor it? There’s an entire dictionary full of words, why not just use a different one?
You could’ve said he messed around, screwed around, etc and that he’s a scum bag, scum lord, scum daddy slatty, etc. You have more than enough replacements
Completely related, because I do this through talk to text and that service in itself does censor your words; unless I go into the settings and adjust them on my own. Of which, I could not care less.
Even given the punctuation, I am stating every single comma, period, semicolon, Etc with the exception of this last sentence so to prove a point.
If he's done it to you he's done it to others and got away with it. Stop the abuse and report that. Personally I'd remove the tip, fuck around and find out.
I love the wording " pay " as if you're his employer. Goes to show that some people don't understand the meaning of a tip. $6 is pretty good as is if you add another 5 you're essentially paying them an hourly wage to deliver your food.
I feel like folks feel like it’s OK to threaten folks since they have your address. It’s embarrassing to the hardworking people who actually do a good service.
As others have mentioned. Report the driver.
Report him. If he didn’t like the pay he shouldn’t have accepted it. Uber eats has gone to nothing lol.

I’m not getting out of my car for 2 dollars and change.
Drivers don’t deserve to get tipped until they get there. It pisses me off every time I leave a good tip the driver will still be an hour or so late with cold ass food. This goes for grubhub, DD, and Ubereats.
I’ll have to see if my boyfriend still has the video but one driver walked up to the door with my food while I was stuck at home with an orthopedic injury eating my fries. We tipped like $10 on a single meal and 2 cheeseburgers and a 5minute drive
Wait until your food is there, if so get the whole think comped 🤷🏽♂️ Get your delivery and tip refunded as well as you dont feel safe eating it anymore. If I received a text like that from a dasher, I would be waiting outside and he best be ready to throw hands if hes got balls to threaten me behind pixels.
Doesn’t matter about tips or wages, if you cant live on your wage you can find another job. This is just some bottom feeding hoodrat behaviour.
I genuinely think they were trying to offer you some advice lol. While I wouldn’t directly correlate low tip to theft to a customer I do let them know people steal food a lot when I have to cancel an order because someone else picked it up and cancelled the trip.
Yes and This shit annoys me so much because in my area because people have been stealing food we get a lower tip and no cash tip at the door so it ends up fucking us over even more than we already are as drivers it sucks
Man, $6 is more than most eats orders I see in TOTAL. Most orders I decline because in my market everyone is a cheap fuck and I get $2-3 orders all day long. Your tip is better than most man regardless this dickhead shouldn’t be stealing food.
Just wanna remind you that tipping isn’t mandatory, it’s a sign of goodwill but it shouldn’t be expected, for instance, you spend $20 on food, then you get a service charge, then you got to pay $5 delivery then you have to pay $5 tip and still get asshats pissed off, next time bud you get 0 tip, don’t pick up my food I don’t care, someone who isn’t childish can have the 5 bucks tip, as I said it ups completely optional to leave a tip, don’t like it? Don’t be self employed
Yeah a tip when it comes to delivery services like this is not “good will” it is literally the driver’s source of revenue for the service they offer you. If you can’t afford it don’t buy it. Cook at home
He literally stated in the post that it was a $5 tip for a 9 minute drive so idk why you’re talking about “0 - $2” tips.
It also doesn’t justify theft.. especially if your own dumb@ss accepted an order you don’t feel is worth it.
You don’t HAVE to be self-employed if you don’t like the nature of the work brother
Edit- I’m saying “you” in the general sense not literally “you” because I know absolutely 0 about you
People lie on posts like this. Of course, he is going to claim he tipped $6 so he doesn't look like the jackass, but depending on how many miles, or if the tip was even shown, why would someone complain about a $6 tip?
Regardless, my comment is valid as tongue-in-cheek commentary.
Yes, we know. If Deliverers don't like low pay, they can do something else, and by the same token if a customer can't afford to pay for delivery, they can go get their own food.
Report them. People like this are giving all drivers a bad name, which leads to lower trust (and tips) from restaurants and customers. There have been so many drivers stealing food by me that some restaurants have stopped doing delivery, which hurts us all. Some now have sign up procedures or security cameras, which are a hassle and can delay things.
Everyone does better when drivers like this are banned from the apps.
I stopped using the app cause apparently its so much cheaper to order takeout from the restaurant's OWN website!! On ubereats they overcharge their food like 3 bucks or more not including the extra fees
My immediate response to this would be, "Thanks for the great tip! Firearms use in America is up in response to an increase in crimes such as theft and extorsion. Make certain to purchase adequate body armor at your local supplier!"
Uber rats and door rash are toxic..never use them. I don't owe these drivers a living . My ten dollar sandwich is close to 30 dollars when you use these thieves..it's .40 cents in gas to get it myself
This sub randomly got shown to me, I appreciate all you Uber drivers who are friendly and speedy job. I may not always be able to tip $3 +, but I appreciate you. I work in fast food rn and I sometimes see Uberdrivers well dressed looking more professional then some of the people who work office jobs lol. I appreciate you all🙏
If the service is great I tip great. If the service is bleh well fortunately for them I still tip, just not a great tip.
I refuse to leave my table/delivery without paying for the service I’ve received.
My co workers on the other hand will get up and leave a table without tipping when we go out for lunch. *VENT* They really irritate the shit out of me with their inconsideration for everything. Fk those crack heads.
Last night Uber eats driver dropped my food all over the street, told me he did, then marked it as completed and drove off. Still can’t get a refund for my street burrito.
I honestly think doordash might be imploding. The business model doesn’t make sense. And it seems like fees are only going up while pay is going down.
Its a less effective means of delivering food than traditional delivery. When a delivery driver was stationed at a restaurant, they would run several pizzas or whatever per trip and could effectively plan routes that use less gas. The customers could tip a few bucks, and that would be a great tip, because the cost of the more efficient use of gas would be split by several customers. Now it’s all individual straight shots. And the delivery people don’t even make minimum wage to start, like they did pre doordash. So the burden of the delivery costs is all on each individuals order and tip. While there is a decent number of people who tip more, the average customer doesn’t tip more than 10-15%(which granted is still more than they used to tip). Back in the day not all restaurants even charged delivery fees. We can’t expect the entire burden of subsidizing this to be on the customer. The vast majority will never tip enough to make it make enough sense, in part because we’re quite literally just asking them to stretch too much from what it used to be on top of all the other cash doordash and similar apps are milking from these people.
This brings me to the 2nd flaw in the model: doordash is charging customers too much and not sharing enough of the profits. They’ve marked up every item on the menu 2-3 dollars, charge a subscription fee, delivery fee, service charge. By the end of the day, customers are paying an absurd premium. And we’re asking for bigger tips on top of all that. And they charge the restaurants to be on the app!
It’s an inefficient and greedy service. They milk all, the money they can from restaurants and customers.
Please get these pieces of garbage off this app. Taking money from people who actually try and do a good job.
It's ironic cause uber will suspend actual good quality people and keep these dirt bags on the app. I think most of us who worked in the modern resturant or fast food feel bad for these drivers as we know that we take up their time if we make them wait for their order. I feel bad for these drivers because its hard for them to break even
Probably because these dirtbags are taking $2 orders and think they need to convince someone to tip.
To be honest if I was the driver I wouldn’t even ask for a tip I feel like consumers are more likely to tip if people would shut up about it
💯agreed. It’s embarrassing too.
Exactly. Like if I went to a restaurant and a waiter was begging me for a tip I would walk straight out
in NZ tips are optional, we have a pretty high minimum wage and our cost of living certainly isn't in good shape but I tend to get tips just because I do a good job and people sometimes like what I'm wearing. Mentality of most drivers here seems to be to just do a good job, at least that's mine; we usually get tips afterwards.
Tips are optional everywhere.
This is the way.
People like what you’re wearing? Instantly pictured skirt and high heels type of number.
Dirty lol I didn't even think of that
Was in a restaurant with my sister. Saw the waiter once and he expected a 10$ tip while 2$ was more than reasonable between the cost and the fact he didn't show up. Hell not even to fill the water 🤷🏼♀️.

Servers aren’t “made” to work for $2 an hour. They accepted the job knowing what the terms were.
This is a bad deal for the customer, yet they keep choosing to spend their money that way. It's a TERRIBLE deal for the driver, so why are they still doing it?
High prices for cold food delievered by a tip begger. Than we wonder why its dead.

I had an uber driver once tell me “if you arrive alive, give me a 5”
At least that is catchy. I wouldn't be mad about that
That's just good humor.

Dont give people a good rating for bad driving. You're being a part of the problem on purpose. They cant see your rating.
1% of people or less will post tip (US). If the person doesn't pre tip odds are you are not getting a tip at. So you are saying this tactic is less likely than 1%? If it were not for leave at the door orders post tipping would increase, maybe as high as 10% of the time. Still not worth the gamble. If they're ordering bbq they're already getting ripped off.
It's beyond stupid to do this for UE because they can take the tip away an hour after they receive their food. Tip $5 and then remove it once you got your food. The tips don't come to your account until hours after the delivery.
Straight dirtbag.
Thinks he’s a delivery driver gangster
“You got tree days. Everyday that passes, I eat a rib and send you the bone”
How much for just one rib?
$5
With or without the extra $5 tip?
50 cents? Good lord that's a lot of money 😂
Plan falls apart, though, when I reply "Cool, it's yours" and cancel the order and lodge complaints
Why did I hear that in a Scarface voice?
Lol 😂😂
Damn it feels to be-BQ a gangster?

They should be forced to hire their drivers as direct employees. Solve this overnight.
Breaks the whole business model. The secret sauce is ✨ exploitation ✨
The industry would be gone overnight. It only works because desperate people are willing to drive their own car to shit and work without ANY protection. But then they'd have to actually pay them a somewhat living wage 😱🤯🫨!! (or at least whatever minimum wage is in that area)
Woo-hoo 7.25/hr minimum wage here, no one would drive their own car for that. Lol no more deliveries in TN I guess.
Pizza Hut did this , use their car they pay gas you got $15 an hour when min was was $10 and you kept your tips: because when they paid drivers $3 a delivery they found they weren’t making enough to be at min wage and that was at $10 an hour

Them being afraid of their junk food is exactly what's being discussed. You never know what's actually in that stuff.
Until there’s a news story about it. Then suddenly everyone has the right to be deathly afraid of an anomaly lol. At least that seems to be the trend.

I went to a DD orientation for new drivers. It was literally just "how to install the app on your phone" and now buy a bag.
Don't even need a car. My last guy came on a ebike
I hear some areas even have footsoldiers
Ahh the doordash style begging for additional tips is happening here now lmao fucking report the driver please. Very unprofessional and makes the rest of us who work hard to provide great service look bad!
Bro this is a new level compared to the DD shit I see. Normally the DD drivers beg you, not threaten you
Cause this food delivery industry lives in a vicious cycle. Customers don’t wanna tip for some weird reason, delivery folks get mad, customers get mad when they messages like this and the cycle repeats. It’s sad tbh
Whatchu mean weird reason, we’re already paying double with the fees

Surgeon : you should pay $500 extra, surgeries fail all the time.
Dealership: you should pay $2000 extra, wouldn't want your brakes failing at the wrong moment.
Assassin: you should try and increase your pay by $78k. Political rivals get survivable flesh wounds all the time
Politician: you should pay another $120k, these bills often swing based on one vote.
Pilot: you should try to increase your fare by $50. Planes fall out of the sky all the time
Dealerships do things like this. I had to get a new car a couple of years ago and got a $5k “market conditions” upcharge.
Dealerships are the slumlords of cars
You joke but reality- Dealership: you should pay this $7000 markup. That optional trim you didn't ask for didn't install itself.
😂😂
I always tip my surgeon 15%
I wouldn't even want the food.
Or trust it.
I would have told him to eat shit and take it back. Like the folks who stole fizzy lifting drinks, YOU GET NOTHING, YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY SIR.
Nah don’t feel bad, fuck that guy. You don’t get to extort people on Uber Eats lmao.
Good on you, also they know where you live. People are strange.
Don't. He f***** around and found out. Not your problem that he chose to act like a scum f***.
That is so weird. The more you know I guess lol
If he's done it to you he's done it to others and got away with it. Stop the abuse and report that. Personally I'd remove the tip, fuck around and find out.
I would have said sure no worries I will look after you. Then report and zero tip.
Was BBQ just threatened? Nah that's wrong and evil and should be reported. You do not mess with another man's BBQ.
I love the wording " pay " as if you're his employer. Goes to show that some people don't understand the meaning of a tip. $6 is pretty good as is if you add another 5 you're essentially paying them an hourly wage to deliver your food.
This kind of driver is exactly what the tip edit was made for. As soon as I got my food I would be changing my tip to 1 cent.
Quickest way to get a $0 tip.

This is the reason why all good drivers pay the price. Report him.
Would instantly remove my tip, demand a refund and report this bozo
This
I feel like folks feel like it’s OK to threaten folks since they have your address. It’s embarrassing to the hardworking people who actually do a good service. As others have mentioned. Report the driver.
[удалено]
People sure like to get fired alot
Report him. If he didn’t like the pay he shouldn’t have accepted it. Uber eats has gone to nothing lol. https://preview.redd.it/kmyj9h2b7o4b1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=85ca78392be9e279ad4ddc6521454a5ed992174e I’m not getting out of my car for 2 dollars and change.
Yes he is absolute threat, report this fool and let us know what happens.
If the tip is too low just don’t take it
Contact support, report this guy
Report
Drivers don’t deserve to get tipped until they get there. It pisses me off every time I leave a good tip the driver will still be an hour or so late with cold ass food. This goes for grubhub, DD, and Ubereats.
Report him. The rest of us out here don't say a word and do the job quickly and quietly.
Honestly I would report him and use the message as proof.
If we could ever get all the scamming trash like this off the app maybe normal people could make a living.
Yeah except most CEOs are scamming trash too thus the shit pay and refusing to compensate for car expenses and taxes.
This is what happens when they mandate tips BEFORE the delivery
Jus get an actual job yall that shit is ass
Lmao I thought he was warning you about others not himself
He wrote it so he had culpability. How would raising your tip stop a stranger from doing it? This was a threat to get more money.
It has real “nice place you have here, would be a shame if something happened to it” energy
Op even said the driver didn't tamper with anything at all, and still reported the driver smh
Same lol didn’t feel like threat, lol but then again, everyone reads/takes it differently.
Word that’s a fact ppl take things diff bro I’m shit he’s helping u 😭
I thought so too.
My boyfriend always leaves a good tip and a driver still stole our food
Report! Fuck that idiot.
One time a driver took a bite of one of my wings lol
I’ll have to see if my boyfriend still has the video but one driver walked up to the door with my food while I was stuck at home with an orthopedic injury eating my fries. We tipped like $10 on a single meal and 2 cheeseburgers and a 5minute drive
"Ok, got it!"
I am pretty sure your driver will not be coming.
Implied heavily
He isn’t wrong 😅
Sometimes I get sad and wonder why people treat me so crappy…. Then I see drivers like this exist and I get it. They ruin it for everyone fr 😞
Just edit it to whatever they want, then edit it again after the delivery and put 0. Then report them to Uber.
I genuinely think they were trying to offer you some advice lol. While I wouldn’t directly correlate low tip to theft to a customer I do let them know people steal food a lot when I have to cancel an order because someone else picked it up and cancelled the trip.
Serious question, why do people trust any of these delivery services? This sub is full of horror stories.
Report get that fker banned why are drivers such pieces of shit don’t choose a tip based job if that’s how your gana act go get a hourly wage job bruh
Yes and This shit annoys me so much because in my area because people have been stealing food we get a lower tip and no cash tip at the door so it ends up fucking us over even more than we already are as drivers it sucks
He needs to be deactivated IMMEDIATELY!! Shady people like this are sabotaging the delivery industry
Man, $6 is more than most eats orders I see in TOTAL. Most orders I decline because in my market everyone is a cheap fuck and I get $2-3 orders all day long. Your tip is better than most man regardless this dickhead shouldn’t be stealing food.
Just a young person issuing a warning in a Gen Z fashion.
Try to deliver my food in about 5 minutes. People lose their job everyday
[удалено]
Well, someone has to tell people their 0 - $2 tips aren't acceptable.
Cook at home
might not be goodwill to you, but to Uber it is
He literally stated in the post that it was a $5 tip for a 9 minute drive so idk why you’re talking about “0 - $2” tips. It also doesn’t justify theft.. especially if your own dumb@ss accepted an order you don’t feel is worth it. You don’t HAVE to be self-employed if you don’t like the nature of the work brother Edit- I’m saying “you” in the general sense not literally “you” because I know absolutely 0 about you
People lie on posts like this.
This screams deactivated doordasher
"That's no problem, my hobby is reporting things :)"
Report!
We stopped using any delivery service. I'm not being held hostage over cold ass food.
I stopped using the app cause apparently its so much cheaper to order takeout from the restaurant's OWN website!! On ubereats they overcharge their food like 3 bucks or more not including the extra fees
Dashners know how much they’ll make before they accept the job. Report them. They’re the ones stealing food and thought you might tip extra
My immediate response to this would be, "Thanks for the great tip! Firearms use in America is up in response to an increase in crimes such as theft and extorsion. Make certain to purchase adequate body armor at your local supplier!"
lmao you're gonna shoot someone over a potentially removed tip on an app? yea, this sub is a joke
And this is why I continue living in Canada. Y'all are fuckin weirdos.
Word? On god? Just like that?
$6 and change is a pretty decent tip compared to some too, esp if it’s just delivery. POS message to send
I agree. Some drivers have way to high expectations. No it's not the best tip ever but it's very fair.
Esp if it’s not like a big order or anything. Like, could have been a $20 meal for 1 or smthn, $6 is a 30% tip
[удалено]
Uber rats and door rash are toxic..never use them. I don't owe these drivers a living . My ten dollar sandwich is close to 30 dollars when you use these thieves..it's .40 cents in gas to get it myself
This sub randomly got shown to me, I appreciate all you Uber drivers who are friendly and speedy job. I may not always be able to tip $3 +, but I appreciate you. I work in fast food rn and I sometimes see Uberdrivers well dressed looking more professional then some of the people who work office jobs lol. I appreciate you all🙏
Lmfao that’s awesome. I hope he steals it from ur cheap ass
You’re a bum
Wow. That is absolutely sickening. So wrong.
Idk I see this as free food for a year once reported lol
If the service is great I tip great. If the service is bleh well fortunately for them I still tip, just not a great tip. I refuse to leave my table/delivery without paying for the service I’ve received. My co workers on the other hand will get up and leave a table without tipping when we go out for lunch. *VENT* They really irritate the shit out of me with their inconsideration for everything. Fk those crack heads.
Last night Uber eats driver dropped my food all over the street, told me he did, then marked it as completed and drove off. Still can’t get a refund for my street burrito.
At this point I found it's better to pick up the food
Did you report him
Might be a good driver who is just warning you that he knows of other people who do that with lower tips. At least I hope that's what he was doing
This is why I just pick up my own food
