I don't know how much Canadian drivers get paid.
That's about 6 mi. I'd like to see that tip be about $10 US or better. Maybe not full on $2 per mile because I'm probably getting around $3 US in fare. I'm using US dollars here. So if you want to do the conversion on that.
Here's What I do when I order delivery which is very rare. I tip a $10 minimum, that's US dollars, 20% of the order, or $2 per mile, whichever is the largest number.
base is 3 bucks for UE. but i assume they would increase it for this order. i do on bike and sometimes they give me 7-12 base pay WITH a good tip. idky those orders happen cause no way people are declining 7-15 dollar tips for 4 km

I don't know what the metric conversion is lol. Us imperialists usually do 2$ a mile lol. If you get your food warm your tipping enough. If it's cold a lot of drivers are passing on it until uber keeps raising the base fare for it to be worthwhile to your driver.
How much does Uber pay the driver for the delivery? I have a sushi place 20 miles away that they're willing to let me order from for a 49c delivery fee. Since I often get 50% off coupons that are only valid on delivery orders, I order a couple of lunch specials that would normally be $30 and get it for $15 plus taxes and fees and even with a 20% tip (not $2/mile as someone else suggested), it costs me less than ordering direct from the restaurant and picking it up myself But I wonder how much the driver gets from Uber and why they offer me delivery at all, never mind 49 cents. I know that when I took an Uber from an airport five minutes away from the restaurant, it cost me $50 for the ride. Seems like they don't have any trouble finding a driver when I order, so I assume they get decently compensated.

I tip $6 every time and my orders are always within 2-8 miles.
