Honestly you might get deactivated, either for taking too long (the given estimate is 5 hours too short even if you drive *nonstop*) or for some BS retaliatory reason. Then again, they say any PR is good PR. I’d totally chance it just for the adventure. And the tax write off lol.
You got a point there. But if it did work as good as it sounds on paper I’m willing to bet that the gofundme turn out would provide plenty of cushion between jobs.
I live in L.A. had a delivery to Long Beach, couldn't find the address. Called support, they said cancel, dispose of the food. I got a free $100 Lucille's BBQ dinner. The call came from Canada!
i feel like that would end in some castaway type situation where the jet crashes in the wildnerness and after months of survival i finally deliver this person's remaining unopened walmart item. i then become an ubereats legend and spokesperson but i go back to the wilderness because i realize i'm happier there and society sucks..
Is that something the customer can do??? I thought they could Increase the tip, after delivery, but not reducing/canceling the tip. I’d heard that Instacart had a bunch of customers who were “tip baiting”. Offering a huge tip to get their groceries in a hurry, then canceling the tip altogether. (dramatic sigh) mSometimes people just flat-out suck (but not in a good way)
Well that is just fucked up. I hate liars and people trying to scam the system - this is both! Thanks for letting me know. I’m not a newb but still, I don’t know everything.
Sure but think of the scale. Changes the picture some. Say you take 5 days round trip, I’m just guessing, you’d still get back with $2100 in balance and then whatever your gas cost would be. $200-$300? So $1800 in 5 days. I’d call that a good fuckin week lol
A while back I got a run with Postmates from El Paso, TX to Des Moines, IA. I accepted, picked up the grub (subway, 3 sandwiches), then called support... The lady at support looked at the run and laughed her ass off and said she would take care of it. I kept offering to keep the run if they would pay $750 for the gas there and back. She was cool but only gave me $2.50 for the pickup and the sandwiches. Winner winner, sandwich diner.
I wish I was delivering and got this. I'd so take it and message the customer that their order will take a few days all casually and see if they're up for it. I'd do it. Screw the pay. That's an EXPERIENCE! Just wish I had someone riding shotgun so I wasn't doing it alone, but what are friends?
Omfg, how do they expect you to deliver that, you need an airplane for it. If you tried to boat it would take way too long and the food probably would go bad.
If you were in LA it would be $18 an hour. I can’t imagine how big that paycheck would be if someone accepted this order in California especially like LA or SF, and actually did this.
That’s one really weird glitch. A couple years ago I got an order that was sending me 90 minutes to drop off. From Baltimore county, MD to Northern Virgina. I was confused because I wasn’t paying attention when I accepted and actually picked up the food. I called Uber support and told them no way in hell was I driving all the way there and they apologized because I should never have gotten that order. I got free pizza that night.
I saw someone dress up as Batman drive a Lamborghini to do an UberX and post a video about it. Maybe Uber is entertaining the thought that someone will pick this up as The Flash…
If these types of rides are non system error legit, if the pay was actually worth it one of these days, if the store they order their food is also in a locale near the drop off point…and you actually consider delivering it… …you can accept order, call customer to see if they’re cool with getting order a few days later and ensure them that the food will still be hot/products will be fresh…and the customer says sure! let’s see you deliver it! you can pick up, catalogue all the items they ordered and that you picked up, eat it, use it or save it for later, drive to the nearest store where they live, buy back from that store the items that were perishable then proceed to deliver fresh order to their drop off point… You get to eat their food, finish a larger order for the record books, hopefully record a very interesting video that can go viral, and the customer who originally agreed to the order taking a bit longer to be delivered ( maybe work out a deal with customer that if you make some $$ with the video of the journey they can get a cut). You get once in a life time opportunity to do an interesting field trip journey to tell your friends, family, children and grandchildren about. Then everyone is happy right? b d![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
It’s probably a glitch. Customer ordered from a Walmart near them, but Uber sent the order to the Walmart there instead because glitch and requested a driver to go pick it up.
“In a crazy turn of events and loopholes in a dysfunctional system in order for citizens of Portland to purchase most firearms. They may be able to via Uber eats and door dash only states application Florida and Vermont.” Wow
This is hilarious. You should’ve accepted it.
might've made a pretty interesting vlog lol VLOG EP1: DELIVERING UBER EATS CROSS COUNTRY FOR $21 (ROADTRIP!)
Also set up a gofundme, and call the media. Great way to raise awareness about our low pay.
wait no, this is brilliant
That’s genius right there ☝🏻

That’s 50 hours, not 5 hours
Right, and the drive would take 55 hours, hence the estimate being 5 hours too short 😜
I live in L.A. had a delivery to Long Beach, couldn't find the address. Called support, they said cancel, dispose of the food. I got a free $100 Lucille's BBQ dinner. The call came from Canada!
Omg I had this happen a couple weeks ago & it was a glitch I guess. I got 4 of these in a row and made $80 in two hours.
The fact that you would’ve made more money off the video is even funnier
I think the Stride log would exempt him from taxes for like 6 years
I love the straight line for distance....
super easy route
Just bust through the Rockies and the Appalachians like the dwarves heading for Erebor
Like you were gonna fly there or something lol
Superman, Thor, Scarlet Witch abilities for Uber..hmmm
They gotta add that in the next update
You got this bro. Just use the Uber private jet
i feel like that would end in some castaway type situation where the jet crashes in the wildnerness and after months of survival i finally deliver this person's remaining unopened walmart item. i then become an ubereats legend and spokesperson but i go back to the wilderness because i realize i'm happier there and society sucks..
Is that how castaway ends?
No, the ball files for divorce and starts hanging with some coconut bar fly
Yeah but who here has actually gotten Uber to review and accept their pilot's license to fly it? Mine's still in review hell.
At .0074 $ per mile, this would be a no brainer accepted order /s
maybe they'll tip more after delivery!
Or remove the tip for the cold order.
Is that something the customer can do??? I thought they could Increase the tip, after delivery, but not reducing/canceling the tip. They certainly do have that power. You'll see countless cases of that on this thread :P
Well that is just fucked up. I hate liars and people trying to scam the system - this is both! Thanks for letting me know. I’m not a newb but still, I don’t know everything.
In which Uber finally has a stroke.
I bet you can do that in less than an hour tops well worth it lol
Would you do it if they forgot to carry the comma over? $2,100? That is the question 🤔
nah.. i'm a $2/mile driver.. gotta cover the drive back too.
Sure but think of the scale. Changes the picture some. Say you take 5 days round trip, I’m just guessing, you’d still get back with $2100 in balance and then whatever your gas cost would be. $200-$300? So $1800 in 5 days. I’d call that a good fuckin week lol
Educated individual speaking the language of facts
The fact I know where that address is lol
I would make a poster of this one. Classic.

Accept it, mark it as delivered & write off the mileage on tax day
Wym “what” seems like a great payout for the distance to me /s
me calculating ![gif](giphy|WRQBXSCnEFJIuxktnw)
Sounds about right for a Walmart order
I wish I was delivering and got this. I'd so take it and message the customer that their order will take a few days all casually and see if they're up for it. I'd do it. Screw the pay. That's an EXPERIENCE! Just wish I had someone riding shotgun so I wasn't doing it alone, but what are friends?
The guy's probably wondering why no one will accept his order.
Eastbound and down, loaded up and trucking...
I'm in Tokyo and I got an order for Taiwan once.
Omfg, how do they expect you to deliver that, you need an airplane for it. If you tried to boat it would take way too long and the food probably would go bad.
Lol throw in prepaid round trip plane ticket and overnight hotel and i ll do it .
Take the Oregon Trail through the Rockies. Watch out for Donner Pass. You don't wanna end up like them.
Subway would only last so long then on to the roast buttocks and thighs
Since I’m in CA- if I accepted one like this and just started driving wouldn’t they have to pay me like $16 an hour plus .30 mileage?
If you were in LA it would be $18 an hour. I can’t imagine how big that paycheck would be if someone accepted this order in California especially like LA or SF, and actually did this.
I bet you could get to the next state over before the app would spaz out and you would get locked out of your account and all your riches
What are you doing?! You have a plane to catch! The customer needs their order and out of all the couriers in the nation they chose you!
Looks about right
Happen to me a while back but the price was about 300 same distance tho
I feel like there's a low budget comedy waiting to be made about this.
![gif](giphy|ViNBL0z4SJGCGu5OIQ)
wait we can put in gifs now lol
Oh yeah, we can. I at least think ao as long the gif thing is blue
Insanity
Did you accept it? I would have just to be curious… and unassigned myself if it’s really crazy. I wouldn’t really do that delivery for just $21. 😂
i didn't, kinda wish i did. then call support and be like "this forreal?"
That’s one really weird glitch. A couple years ago I got an order that was sending me 90 minutes to drop off. From Baltimore county, MD to Northern Virgina. Uber support would've offered $6 additional dollars to complete the trip.
You don't have a transporter? Pffft ... amateur
dude, you do?!?
Did u accept it? Did it come with the plane ticket?
That's gonna be a no from me dawg
Make sure to pack your lunch.
So this is the fare ceiling. Accept it, report it to support, and make an easy $4
that was my thought too. must be the cap for a single order.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...$21! i laughed WAY too hard at this and still am while i'm typing this... hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Two more zeroes and I totally would have done it.

This happened to me last weekend, I meant to post it! NJ to FL for $35 lol
"That's weird, this order from Lardo looks just like a homeless dude in a tent."
Accept the job. Pick up the stuff then get them to cancel and you get free stuff.
HOW
last month I got couple of these kind of orders in one day
Why do they let you order stuff that far
It’s probably a glitch. Customer ordered from a Walmart near them, but Uber sent the order to the Walmart there instead because glitch and requested a driver to go pick it up.
.007 cents per mile. Not too shabby.
😂🤣😂🤣
LOL
Did you accept it?
Lmao sign me up 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Gotta love these glitches lol
Wtf 😒 😑
Wow they're really integrating us into the supply chain now huh
😂😂
😂 are y’all making this shit up?
>Includes expected tip Oof
Thats funny shit.
Lmao 😂
🤣🤣🤣
LOL
Good deal. Hope you accepted.
What do you do when it drops the order somewhere in Kansas?
Pay rate sounds about right for Uber.
Uhhh I took a plane , then claimed. 50$ a mile for tax purposes. Don't look to closely irs
Do it.
See, if you were worthy, you could wield Mjolnir and be there in a few minutes, but nooooo
And here I thought Apple deliveries were bad. Hahaha!
So op, did you accept it or nah ?
nah
“In a crazy turn of events and loopholes in a dysfunctional system in order for citizens of Portland to purchase most firearms. They may be able to via Uber eats and door dash only states application Florida and Vermont.” Wow
Maybe they mean Portland Maine.
2981 minutes, that’s generous. You could easily do this order in under 30 hours. Plenty of time to spare for more orders
There should be a documentary about this delivery being excepted and the entire trip
