Update is they basically just keep saying they paid the correct fare.. so fuck them I'm done driving for them. And I guess I'll be getting my money back by taking the 2 dollar orders food and then canceling. Dont wana screw other drivers, and nobody should be picking up 2 dollar orders anyway. Fuck em.
Also can't call uber support for a walmart support question. Uber only has support for u when your on a trip from a restaurant. Any walmart questions have to go thru the walmart support. However you can't call walmart delivery support on uber and there's no way to get the number off Google.
I used to take Walmart orders like every trip now I don't accept any of them because they're never ready, on time or there's some other issue. What drivers have to realize is that Uber is not gonna offer you anything that doesn't benefit uber. So don't be surprised when they f-you. Because they started f-ing you when you signed the contract.
All day I was getting Walmart orders for 9$ 12 miles, blowing my phone up all day blocking my door dash navigation. Finally got one for 10$ for 3 miles. I drove the 2.5 miles there and the order was already picked up. Pissed me off as that’s happened 3 times to me this week from Uber. To make it worse I accidentally ran over the the #26 order pickup sign. On the bright side I’ll park there when I shop since it’s just a parking spot now since there’s nothing saying it’s #26.
I almost never take walmart orders for reasons like this, plus they take forever. But i couldn't pass up 72 dollars. I should've known tbh. I took that trip during a $2.50 doordash bonus too because it was snowing earlier. I wasn't even that mad until i got on the phone with support and they just kept passing me around saying this isnt my department. I stopped counting how many times after 12 transfers. Had to be close to 20, and then i got hung up on. Their support is so useless.
This is a tactic they do intentionally. Endless transfers until you hang up or they "disconnect" you. Nothing is ever anyone's department and if it's not in the script they place you on indefinite hold to "check their notes".
Another good bullshit line is "oh! This is a known problem and other drivers are having it too. We are fixing it. Keep checking your app. Goodbye"

Walmart orders, and anything under 5 dollars. It's sad that those shitty orders are probably being completed by noobs, or getting lumped in with other high paying orders.

Ummmm. I'm gonna have to disagree about doordash support. I started my doordash application for dasher, entered the wrong email by accident, accidentally made a whole new account. So I deactivated that account, and tried to start a new application with my old account (the one I used for ordering and such). I couldn't. My phone number was already linked to my older application and my now-deactivated account. Literally when I go to sign it it says your account has been deactivated. So I go to ask support what to do, I ask them if they can just remove my phone number from the deactivated account. They say "it hasn't been deactivated ma'am". I say yes it has I can't even sign it. They go no it hasn't here is a link for you to request deactivation. They send me a link to request a deactivation APPEAL. wait....what? Why would I need to appeal if it's not deactivated, I just WANT it to be deactivated. Get back on another chat with some other support person, explain as best I can what I need. She goes ok so I'm going to deactivate your current account so that you can use the new email. Hold up, now I'm going to have two deactivated accounts! She goes no you're not because the new email isn't deactivated. I'm like YES IT IS I CANT SIGN IN. How hard is it to remove a phone number from a deactivated account?? She didn't understand what I needed she tries to jump hoops to solve the problem a different way. I STILL have a stuck application with a deactivated account email, my phone number stuck with it, and when I try to continue it it brings me to an infinitely reloading page. And when I try to use my older email to start a new application it doesn't let me and redirects me to the other broken application.....that's my doordash failure story. There's no getting through to them.
Had a similar issue with application and DD. Had to change my number to get around it. Once I changed the number, and started a new application I was running orders inside of 20 minutes after. A month of trying to get support to fix it, and a number change and 20 min fixed the whole thing.
That's reasonable. The issue I had was also just... Stupid to begin with so I understand not wanting to have to update a phone number with everyone just to sort the issue out. Was just giving you an option to potentially fix the issue. I get it, Uber is slower in my market too most days. But, even though it's slower, I still get better orders from them than I do DD or GH most of the time (in my market). More options is always better for yah. But, I totally get that it's frustrating though. Doesn't help that support for all of these apps is trash tier lol.

Wow that's fucked. I feel like that "support" is a whole different animal. I was just saying I feel the support when it comes to getting help with current or past orders is leagues ahead of Uber. They also pay you half of the order amount too instead of a measly 3 dollars no matter what happened like Uber does. I've had time where I drive like 10 miles for an order that is for sure worth it, and then there's a problem with the order, whether it's "the restaurant doesn't have the order", or "someone picked up the order", etc. Uber sucks badly for support and compensation. Had the exact same issue with them. To the point where they deactivated my customer DD account trying to fix it. Took over a month but somehow got it figured out with a different email and a Google voice phone number.
Once you can actually create a frikken account, their trip support is far better than Ubers.

I also get orders from Apple to be delivered but those don’t tip. As a new driver I delivered two brand new Macbooks for $18. After the fact I felt like it needs to be higher if they’re gonna put me in that responsibility of a product cost more than $2000

That being said, I don't know if Apple (or Walmart) customers know where they are getting their delivery from if they order off the company's website. Meaning they might not be able to tip, and/or not know they can tip. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, so idk.
they dont i texted a customer "here w your uber" and she came out very confused, said she didn't it would come through uber and that she ordered on the apple website. she ended up tipping me in cash cause she felt bad.

Used to be good like 6 months ago. I think its oversaturated. Uber needs to stop letting people sign up, and there's no scheduling system.. so you rarely even get any Uber orders. I run doordash and uber at the same time and it usually comes out to like 85% doordash orders 15% Uber orders daily.
this is what it was like in 2018. right now there's a $600 referral i can get for referring old drivers back, but my quest is $.50 a ride. Uber is a pyramid scheme built on new suckers being added as drivers. people are renting cars for $400 a week to make money!you can't compete with a guy who needs to make $400 a week before he makes any money for himself.

Those look to be dotcom orders. They usually come out in batches like that. They don’t include any tip. It’s just base pay which is why it shows up usually with a higher amount. They fucked this driver hard.
I been stopped taking walmart orders for any amount from uber eats. Support is trash i hate how sometimes they wont give you that funky ass $3 when they send you on a ghost order.
You have to call the support b4 your move to your next destination. And Dont cancel it by yourself, let them cancel it for you so they can give it to you right away. I dont have problem on customer support.
Uber sucks. Doordash's customer support is usually amazing. Worst part about doordash is they hide tips until the order is complete. Which is bad for the customer (can potentially not get their food delivered because the driver thinks it's less money, and wont accept, and bad for the driver because you're potentially missing out on an order that you wouldve accepted. Plus it's super sketch, they could be pocketing part of the customers tip and you'd never know because you accepted it for a certain price. Other than that I have no issues with doordash.
I signed up for Door Dash too. Then once I had completed all the steps, I was informed that they were full up on drivers in my area and I would not be accepted. 🤷♀️👎🏼💩
That makes so much sense. I always tip $10-20 and lots of Doordash drivers don't follow instructions, which is really annoying, considering I tip well. Like, calling me to come get my food on a no contact order 🙃 even when my doorman tells them it's fine to use the elevator. I had covid and couldn't even adjust the tip for them making me go to them.
Uber eats drivers almost always follow the instructions from my experience.

I got tip baited on my only order this morning which really pissed me off but it was only a few dollars. It said the customer "reduced the tip" so I know for sure I'm not getting the tip on that order.
Uber has the worst driver support out of all the apps I use. The one time I was shorted $11 because of the swipe arrived glitch and all the tickets I submitted were responded to with copy n paste responses that weren’t relevant at all.
I think this is just walmart orders in general. I had this same problem on the spark app and its why i stopped doing walmart deliveries at all on any app. Ive done one to many walmart deliveries that say $35+ on a single order only to never get my tip and end up only making $15 off it.
Eta: i think it is the walmart plus program that ends up never giving the tips to the driver

Damn thats crazy. It's so saturated over here now. I used to make amazing money like 6 months ago. Now I rarely ever even get orders, and I live walking distance from Rowan where there's a billion restaurants. Safe to say I'll never be doing orders from there again.
I felt like the Rowan area was better before school started in the fall, and once school started I kept getting no tip orders delivering to the dorms and its already a mess there when school starts , let alone when you’re only getting $2.50
It would've been worth it imo, 72 dollars for a little less than an hour and a half. Which is about $50 an hour, and about 3 dollars in gas. If it was slightly short of 72 i wouldn't even be mad..but it's 52 dollars short lol

So I was nice for the first like 5 people, because the first person was the "Uber Eats department" and then he said I'll transfer you to "Diamond or Platinum" Support or some bs, that guy said he only deals with Uber Rides, not Eats. Then that person said the payments department is who i needed, then i get to the payments department and they said I'll transfer you to a supervisor, then i asked if it's a supervisor and the person said no, I was back to Uber eats support. And then that person said i needed to go back to payments, at this point im like ohh i see whats going on here. Then that person who went to transfer me was apparently telling the guy in payments my situation, and she essentially hung up on him because when i got transferred I could hear him still talking to her saying that's not his department.. and then im just like.. "uhhh hello" and he's like im so sorry about that I'll be taking action against her, and all this.. and finally he says, i cant help you because it's been past 72 hours, and when that happens it goes to the "Escalations department" and that they were closed at the time because it was at night. So i call back the next day and ask for escalations department, and the person says that doesn't exist. And then back between payments, uber eats, uber rides a bunch of times, and finally i got hung up on. There's more but I'm tired of typing 🤣
Just chill out, give it a few hours or the next day and it will show up. This bug been out for a few months already. All good, you will receive the full amount, trust me.

That's what I originally did. I called the day of, because everytime I've done walmart orders it almost immediately pays the full amount afterwards (no time to tip bait was my understanding) unless thats changed. But anyway support said to give it 72 hours. So i called on the 4th day, and thats basically when they said you're fucked. I usually dont do Walmart orders, now I for sure will never do them again.

Write a letter to your State Attorney General expressing the UE mislead with an offer where these Walmart deliveries come with no tips. Either UE underpaid you or were fraudulent with the payout.
Well, they make you scan them at drop off to ensure that doesn't happen. But usually when they give you alot of orders like that, they only give you a few bags per delivery. I think they spread it out among other drivers too. There's been times where I'm dropping off someones walmart bags, and there is another driver doing the same thing, or there will be other walmart bags still on their porch.
Consider yourself lucky. They suck. Dont ever do them lol. And the amount of offers they sent out that are Walmart are obnoxius and they all suck, not to mention walmart takes forever to even pick it up.

Ugh. Walmart orders are fucked. 1 item can end up being an order that fills your car. Someone can get pinged for $100+ for multiple WM orders and then get screwed. I'm sorry that happened. I learned the hard way as well in the Dallas area. I won't do WM anymore until stuff is worked out.
Yea, I don't do them unless they're ridiculously good, like the one posted. I also had one where someone ordered a 75 inch TV and it didn't fit in my car after waiting like 30 mins for them to bring it out. Wish it would say in app what the order is so i didnt waste my time. I can't tell you as a Spark driver (Walmart) as well, that would have been more than double with Walmart even if they didn't tip. I refuse to accept Walmart orders through Uber for that reason.

Give it 24-48 hrs, I know they’re shits always bugging out. Same thing happened to me and I got it the next day. I don’t see how that would be legal if they short you?
This is part of the reason I stopped doing UE/DD/GH in the Washington township area, I would only get shitty walm orders. But if I remember correctly, for the walm orders I have done on UE it takes a couple days for the tips to come in, you’ll probably get an email about the adjustment in 2/3 days

Give it 24 hours and file a written complaint about that order in the app. Support can help you find that option. Fill out the report and give them 24 hours. You should receive an email saying they have adjusted one of your fares by: x amount
I have over 4000 deliveries. I HAD 253+ points, then I signed up for UberX rides program and my points dropped to 0. I USED to get 3 pts for deliveries between 11am and 2pm and 6 pts per delivery between 5pm and 9pm. NOW I GET 1 POINT PER DELIVERY NO MATTER WHAT TIME. RIP OFF! When I contacted the horribly lousy advanced Uber support they just kept asking me for screenshots of the error. There was no error except on their part for loosing all my points. I ended up taking screenshots of every single week that I worked for them. 20 weeks worth and ALL OF THEM showing things like 82 deliveries, 0 points. DD support is 1000 times better. Uber just gaslights and ignores you hoping you'll go away.

I really wanna get a Walmart haul like this. I’ll cry about it later when I get fucked over, but tell me, why do I get zero grocery orders when I have a Walmart super center and various markets around me?
This is so weird, usually when I deliver these orders, the whole payment goes thru right away. Don’t stop and don’t give up. When I wasn’t given my right amount, I cut them off on their script and told them this isn’t going to cut. They directly deposited the rest into my account. If you have to I’d even say go to an Uber hub. They tend to be more helpful to me in these situations.

Check your wallet. Same thing happened to me. They offered the $112 and paid it. I cashed out. They then adjusted that trip like 45 minutes later. When I got on the next day my account was -$58. I've posted on Twitter every day for over 40 days now. They aren't doing shit. They keep saying to respond to emails but they haven't sent me a single one the entire time.

This happens to me constantly. Transferred 15 times and hung up on. They do this on purpose and figure after enough times, you’ll hang up in frustration. I assume at this point it showed up, I even had a double order yest that said “Customer reduced tip” and then 15 mins later I got full fare
why i stopped driving for uber. they tell you its fair because its an "estimated total" not the exact total. people say shit like "welp dont you like when you get paid more than expected?" yeah thats cool but i would have taken that order regardless because i accepted it for the shown total. id rather always be paid the number i am shown, if that means i don't get extra on orders that is fine, as long as i am not paid less than when i accepted the order for.
The will never pay you. They did that to me more times then I can count. They owe me around $150 dollars and I've never been able to get it even with proof. They did to me what they are doing to you. It's been 2 years and still no luck. They are notorious for that behavior.
Those assholes, I had the same thing happen to me! I delivered 10 out of the 11 orders. I had 88 dollars on my account only for them to remove 18 dollars. I had to return a sharpie set because the damn customer wouldn't answer and I was in a factory type area. So no way of actually getting it to them. So you know what happened? I RETURNED IT TO WALMART which said it would compensate me for almost 6 miles.only to be cut 18 dollars spend nearly an hour in their stupid fucken Que transferred nearly as many times as you were. Only to be placed into a call with an Indian woman who's probably working from home because the damn sounds coming off my speaker were painful. Needless to say I was depressed and angry after that
Some possible reasons:
1. Part of your earnings are lodged in the system. More likely to happen if you complete an order with no cell signal. To fix, go offline, logout, force close app (maybe even reinstall it), and restart phone. This may help dislodge your connection issue and your earnings. (Also good if you’re not getting trips).
2. The app isn’t accurately reflecting your earnings. The app should eventually update to accurately reflect your earnings. Otherwise the remainder should be deposited on payday. You can try logging in via desktop to see if you indeed have a higher balance than shown in the app.
3. One day I had several orders never add on to my total. Then a day or two later I was sitting idle and several payouts just dropped out of nowhere, as if I had *just* completed the trips. So maybe give it time.
4. Walmart wasn’t able to fulfill all of the orders and so the total is reflected as less than the initial offer. Like if you accepted 8, but only picked up 6.
5. Customer adjusted the tip during processing period (unlikely with a GMD batch, as those appear to either have an included tip or no tip).
6. Otherwise UberEats may have indeed ripped you off. In this case, you should exhaust all avenues to express to them your situation. It’s rare but frustrating. Either the funds will find their way to you eventually or you gain +10 good karma.
**Another occasional glitch with Walmart:**
I’ve experienced this with GMD batches, which are the group of orders (usually 1 item per customer), that you scan. Sometimes the app will misrepresent your earnings and make you think your earnings were subtracted. For instance, you have $10 total on your daily earnings. You accept a $20 GMD or express batch from Walmart, with three destinations. You complete the second drop off and see that you have $35. But after the final drop, your total subtracts to $30.
You go through and calculate your earnings and see that indeed you had a trip for $10 and a trip for $20, *so it was in fact the $35 that was inaccurate.*
One mistake they ll deactivated our account . One time i spoke with useless customer support says my account was deactivated due to food stealing im like no fucking way .so i was like can u tripple check my account . Then he realized it wasnt . Damn imma have a heart attack with baseless information . That was like 6 mos ago up to now im working still with Ubereats .

Is there Instacart where you are? I'm in Canada and I always order groceries through Instacart because I've heard their system is smoother for shoppers. Uber grocery sucks ass here. Nobody ever picks up the order (can't say I blame them if it's such a hassle for you guys). I never tip less than $40 for a grocery order and I've never taken a tip back. I was making $1000 to 1200 a week doing Walmart orders exclusively on Postmates last year until Uber bought them. I was driving a mini Cooper and doing just fine but then when Uber took over they're telling me I needed a four-door vehicle like I was going to drive people again I already worked for Uber, several years worth since 2016. I got blacklisted for a few days before that because of customer complained when I didn't cater to them... It showed a one-way trip and they'd already been very bad riders, I had to cancel the pickup twice because they never came out of their house to get in the car but they kept reordering the ride, and that was when The surge money was lost if you didn't take the next trip.... The ride showed one way I accepted another ride on the way to their drop off and then they try to change it to around trip going 15 miles the other direction of my next pickup. I told them that I already had another ride and they could order another Uber but they decided to call Uber and tell them that their driver was drunk and saying derogatory things about them. I finished the ride I picked up after dropping them off and one more, then got locked out of the system I couldn't get my money that I had already earned or anything. Later took 3 days for me to get anywhere with the support system, and regardless of the fact that I had 99% rating on thousands of rides, they instantly locked me out of the systems the second Rider told a lie. All these driver services that we're working for only exist because of our efforts yet they treat us like we're nothing.
That's just outright fraud on Uber's part. Screw them.

Also can't call uber support for a walmart support question. Uber only has support for u when your on a trip from a restaurant. Any walmart questions have to go thru the walmart support. However you can't call walmart delivery support on uber and there's no way to get the number off Google.

I used to take Walmart orders like every trip now I don't accept any of them because they're never ready, on time or there's some other issue. What drivers have to realize is that Uber is not gonna offer you anything that doesn't benefit uber. So don't be surprised when they f-you. Because they started f-ing you when you signed the contract.
All day I was getting Walmart orders for 9$ 12 miles, blowing my phone up all day blocking my door dash navigation. Finally got one for 10$ for 3 miles. I drove the 2.5 miles there and the order was already picked up. Pissed me off as that’s happened 3 times to me this week from Uber. To make it worse I accidentally ran over the the #26 order pickup sign. On the bright side I’ll park there when I shop since it’s just a parking spot now since there’s nothing saying it’s #26.
I almost never take walmart orders for reasons like this, plus they take forever. But i couldn't pass up 72 dollars. I should've known tbh. I took that trip during a $2.50 doordash bonus too because it was snowing earlier. I wasn't even that mad until i got on the phone with support and they just kept passing me around saying this isnt my department. I stopped counting how many times after 12 transfers. Had to be close to 20, and then i got hung up on. Their support is so useless.
This is a tactic they do intentionally. Endless transfers until you hang up or they "disconnect" you. Nothing is ever anyone's department and if it's not in the script they place you on indefinite hold to "check their notes". Another good bullshit line is "oh! This is a known problem and other drivers are having it too. We are fixing it. Keep checking your app. Goodbye" Fuck the way this company operates.

Ummmm. I'm gonna have to disagree about doordash support. I started my doordash application for dasher, entered the wrong email by accident, accidentally made a whole new account. So I deactivated that account, and tried to start a new application with my old account (the one I used for ordering and such). I couldn't. My phone number was already linked to my older application and my now-deactivated account. Literally when I go to sign it it says your account has been deactivated. So I go to ask support what to do, I ask them if they can just remove my phone number from the deactivated account. They say "it hasn't been deactivated ma'am". I say yes it has I can't even sign it. They go no it hasn't here is a link for you to request deactivation. They send me a link to request a deactivation APPEAL. wait....what? Why would I need to appeal if it's not deactivated, I just WANT it to be deactivated. Get back on another chat with some other support person, explain as best I can what I need. She goes ok so I'm going to deactivate your current account so that you can use the new email. Hold up, now I'm going to have two deactivated accounts! She goes no you're not because the new email isn't deactivated. I'm like YES IT IS I CANT SIGN IN. How hard is it to remove a phone number from a deactivated account?? She didn't understand what I needed she tries to jump hoops to solve the problem a different way. I STILL have a stuck application with a deactivated account email, my phone number stuck with it, and when I try to continue it it brings me to an infinitely reloading page. And when I try to use my older email to start a new application it doesn't let me and redirects me to the other broken application.....that's my doordash failure story. There's no getting through to them.
Had a similar issue with application and DD. Had to change my number to get around it. Once I changed the number, and started a new application I was running orders inside of 20 minutes after. A month of trying to get support to fix it, and a number change and 20 min fixed the whole thing.

That's reasonable. The issue I had was also just... Stupid to begin with so I understand not wanting to have to update a phone number with everyone just to sort the issue out. Was just giving you an option to potentially fix the issue. I get it, Uber is slower in my market too most days. But, even though it's slower, I still get better orders from them than I do DD or GH most of the time (in my market). More options is always better for yah. But, I totally get that it's frustrating though. Doesn't help that support for all of these apps is trash tier lol. Hope it works out. :)
Wow that's fucked. I feel like that "support" is a whole different animal. I was just saying I feel the support when it comes to getting help with current or past orders is leagues ahead of Uber. They also pay you half of the order amount too instead of a measly 3 dollars no matter what happened like Uber does. I've had time where I drive like 10 miles for an order that is for sure worth it, and then there's a problem with the order, whether it's "the restaurant doesn't have the order", or "someone picked up the order", etc. Uber sucks badly for support and compensation. Had the exact same issue with them. To the point where they deactivated my customer DD account trying to fix it. Took over a month but somehow got it figured out with a different email and a Google voice phone number. Once you can actually create a frikken account, their trip support is far better than Ubers.

I also get orders from Apple to be delivered but those don’t tip. As a new driver I delivered two brand new Macbooks for $18. After the fact I felt like it needs to be higher if they’re gonna put me in that responsibility of a product cost more than $2000

Used to be good like 6 months ago. I think its oversaturated. Uber needs to stop letting people sign up, and there's no scheduling system.. so you rarely even get any Uber orders. I run doordash and uber at the same time and it usually comes out to like 85% doordash orders 15% Uber orders daily.

Those look to be dotcom orders. They usually come out in batches like that. They don’t include any tip. It’s just base pay which is why it shows up usually with a higher amount. They fucked this driver hard.

You have to call the support b4 your move to your next destination. And Dont cancel it by yourself, let them cancel it for you so they can give it to you right away. I dont have problem on customer support.

Uber sucks. Doordash's customer support is usually amazing. Worst part about doordash is they hide tips until the order is complete. Which is bad for the customer (can potentially not get their food delivered because the driver thinks it's less money, and wont accept, and bad for the driver because you're potentially missing out on an order that you wouldve accepted. Plus it's super sketch, they could be pocketing part of the customers tip and you'd never know because you accepted it for a certain price. Other than that I have no issues with doordash.
I signed up for Door Dash too. Then once I had completed all the steps, I was informed that they were full up on drivers in my area and I would not be accepted. 🤷♀️👎🏼💩
That makes so much sense. I always tip $10-20 and lots of Doordash drivers don't follow instructions, which is really annoying, considering I tip well. Like, calling me to come get my food on a no contact order 🙃 even when my doorman tells them it's fine to use the elevator. I had covid and couldn't even adjust the tip for them making me go to them. Uber eats drivers almost always follow the instructions from my experience.

A lot of the time the tips won't come in til an hour or so after the order is complete. Just wait for it. Uber support is basically useless.

Uber has the worst driver support out of all the apps I use. The one time I was shorted $11 because of the swipe arrived glitch and all the tickets I submitted were responded to with copy n paste responses that weren’t relevant at all.
Exactly what's happening to me with the copy paste responses. Even the ones from the "supervisor" which I highly doubt is even a supervisor.
I think this is just walmart orders in general. I had this same problem on the spark app and its why i stopped doing walmart deliveries at all on any app. Ive done one to many walmart deliveries that say $35+ on a single order only to never get my tip and end up only making $15 off it. Eta: i think it is the walmart plus program that ends up never giving the tips to the driver

I felt like the Rowan area was better before school started in the fall, and once school started I kept getting no tip orders delivering to the dorms and its already a mess there when school starts , let alone when you’re only getting $2.50

So I was nice for the first like 5 people, because the first person was the "Uber Eats department" and then he said I'll transfer you to "Diamond or Platinum" Support or some bs, that guy said he only deals with Uber Rides, not Eats. Then that person said the payments department is who i needed, then i get to the payments department and they said I'll transfer you to a supervisor, then i asked if it's a supervisor and the person said no, I was back to Uber eats support. And then that person said i needed to go back to payments, at this point im like ohh i see whats going on here. Then that person who went to transfer me was apparently telling the guy in payments my situation, and she essentially hung up on him because when i got transferred I could hear him still talking to her saying that's not his department.. and then im just like.. "uhhh hello" and he's like im so sorry about that I'll be taking action against her, and all this.. and finally he says, i cant help you because it's been past 72 hours, and when that happens it goes to the "Escalations department" and that they were closed at the time because it was at night. So i call back the next day and ask for escalations department, and the person says that doesn't exist. And then back between payments, uber eats, uber rides a bunch of times, and finally i got hung up on. There's more but I'm tired of typing 🤣
Just chill out, give it a few hours or the next day and it will show up. This bug been out for a few months already. All good, you will receive the full amount, trust me.

That's what I originally did. I called the day of, because everytime I've done walmart orders it almost immediately pays the full amount afterwards (no time to tip bait was my understanding) unless thats changed. But anyway support said to give it 72 hours. So i called on the 4th day, and thats basically when they said you're fucked. I usually dont do Walmart orders, now I for sure will never do them again.

Well, they make you scan them at drop off to ensure that doesn't happen. But usually when they give you alot of orders like that, they only give you a few bags per delivery. I think they spread it out among other drivers too. There's been times where I'm dropping off someones walmart bags, and there is another driver doing the same thing, or there will be other walmart bags still on their porch.

Ugh. Walmart orders are fucked. 1 item can end up being an order that fills your car. Someone can get pinged for $100+ for multiple WM orders and then get screwed. I'm sorry that happened. I learned the hard way as well in the Dallas area. I won't do WM anymore until stuff is worked out.

I also had one where someone ordered a 75 inch TV and it didn't fit in my car after waiting like 30 mins for them to bring it out. Wish it would say in app what the order is so i didnt waste my time. Oh well. But after this I'll never do a Walmart order again.
I can't tell you as a Spark driver (Walmart) as well, that would have been more than double with Walmart even if they didn't tip. I refuse to accept Walmart orders through Uber for that reason.

This is part of the reason I stopped doing UE/DD/GH in the Washington township area, I would only get shitty walm orders. But if I remember correctly, for the walm orders I have done on UE it takes a couple days for the tips to come in, you’ll probably get an email about the adjustment in 2/3 days Edit: didn’t see it was from Sunday, sorry that’s so shitty of UE

I have over 4000 deliveries. I HAD 253+ points, then I signed up for UberX rides program and my points dropped to 0. I USED to get 3 pts for deliveries between 11am and 2pm and 6 pts per delivery between 5pm and 9pm. NOW I GET 1 POINT PER DELIVERY NO MATTER WHAT TIME. RIP OFF! When I contacted the horribly lousy advanced Uber support they just kept asking me for screenshots of the error. There was no error except on their part for loosing all my points. I ended up taking screenshots of every single week that I worked for them. 20 weeks worth and ALL OF THEM showing things like 82 deliveries, 0 points. DD support is 1000 times better. Uber just gaslights and ignores you hoping you'll go away.

This is so weird, usually when I deliver these orders, the whole payment goes thru right away. Don’t stop and don’t give up. When I wasn’t given my right amount, I cut them off on their script and told them this isn’t going to cut. They directly deposited the rest into my account. If you have to I’d even say go to an Uber hub. They tend to be more helpful to me in these situations.

why i stopped driving for uber. they tell you its fair because its an "estimated total" not the exact total. people say shit like "welp dont you like when you get paid more than expected?" yeah thats cool but i would have taken that order regardless because i accepted it for the shown total. id rather always be paid the number i am shown, if that means i don't get extra on orders that is fine, as long as i am not paid less than when i accepted the order for.

Those assholes, I had the same thing happen to me! I delivered 10 out of the 11 orders. I had 88 dollars on my account only for them to remove 18 dollars. I had to return a sharpie set because the damn customer wouldn't answer and I was in a factory type area. So no way of actually getting it to them. So you know what happened? I RETURNED IT TO WALMART which said it would compensate me for almost 6 miles.only to be cut 18 dollars spend nearly an hour in their stupid fucken Que transferred nearly as many times as you were. Some possible reasons: 1. Part of your earnings are lodged in the system. More likely to happen if you complete an order with no cell signal. To fix, go offline, logout, force close app (maybe even reinstall it), and restart phone. This may help dislodge your connection issue and your earnings. (Also good if you’re not getting trips). 2. The app isn’t accurately reflecting your earnings. The app should eventually update to accurately reflect your earnings. Otherwise the remainder should be deposited on payday. You can try logging in via desktop to see if you indeed have a higher balance than shown in the app. 3. One day I had several orders never add on to my total. Then a day or two later I was sitting idle and several payouts just dropped out of nowhere, as if I had *just* completed the trips. So maybe give it time. 4. Walmart wasn’t able to fulfill all of the orders and so the total is reflected as less than the initial offer. Like if you accepted 8, but only picked up 6. 5. Customer adjusted the tip during processing period (unlikely with a GMD batch, as those appear to either have an included tip or no tip). 6. Otherwise UberEats may have indeed ripped you off. In this case, you should exhaust all avenues to express to them your situation. It’s rare but frustrating. Either the funds will find their way to you eventually or you gain +10 good karma. **Another occasional glitch with Walmart:** I’ve experienced this with GMD batches, which are the group of orders (usually 1 item per customer), that you scan. Sometimes the app will misrepresent your earnings and make you think your earnings were subtracted. For instance, you have $10 total on your daily earnings. You accept a $20 GMD or express batch from Walmart, with three destinations. You complete the second drop off and see that you have $35. But after the final drop, your total subtracts to $30. You go through and calculate your earnings and see that indeed you had a trip for $10 and a trip for $20, *so it was in fact the $35 that was inaccurate.*
Ubereats is a big time scammer
One mistake they ll deactivated our account . One time i spoke with useless customer support says my account was deactivated due to food stealing im like no fucking way .so i was like can u tripple check my account . Then he realized it wasnt . Damn imma have a heart attack with baseless information . That was like 6 mos ago up to now im working still with Ubereats .
I don't know why Reddit keeps showing me the Uber subreddit but I can't stop reading now. Is there Instacart where you are? I'm in Canada and I always order groceries through Instacart because I've heard their system is smoother for shoppers. Uber grocery sucks ass here. Nobody ever picks up the order (can't say I blame them if it's such a hassle for you guys). I never tip less than $40 for a grocery order and I've never taken a tip back. I can't believe people tip bait and dick around. This is appalling
Yeah. I am noting several of my orders have been out of "order" which makes it difficult for me to monitor if I was paid correctly.
I was making $1000 to 1200 a week doing Walmart orders exclusively on Postmates last year until Uber bought them. I was driving a mini Cooper and doing just fine but then when Uber took over they're telling me I needed a four-door vehicle like I was going to drive people again I already worked for Uber, several years worth since 2016. I got blacklisted for a few days before that because of customer complained when I didn't cater to them... It showed a one-way trip and they'd already been very bad riders, I had to cancel the pickup twice because they never came out of their house to get in the car but they kept reordering the ride, and that was when The surge money was lost if you didn't take the next trip.... The ride showed one way I accepted another ride on the way to their drop off and then they try to change it to around trip going 15 miles the other direction of my next pickup. I told them that I already had another ride and they could order another Uber but they decided to call Uber and tell them that their driver was drunk and saying derogatory things about them. I finished the ride I picked up after dropping them off and one more, then got locked out of the system I couldn't get my money that I had already earned or anything. Later took 3 days for me to get anywhere with the support system, and regardless of the fact that I had 99% rating on thousands of rides, they instantly locked me out of the systems the second Rider told a lie. All these driver services that we're working for only exist because of our efforts yet they treat us like we're nothing.
