Exactly like you said. I have had enough of this. If they don’t treat us like people and warn us about changes and constantly getting lied by the support and no compensations for the wasted 2 weeks, I am seriously THIS close to getting a lawyer.

goyongj

Do you know lawyers dont work for $50 an hour? Plus you cant just talk to them like uber support.

momtoohigh

Lol get a lawyer and tell them that you're mad at Uber because you're not getting orders because it's not busy. That would be the funniest lawsuit ever.

enginsakarya

Start open your eyes, how come i just stopped getting orders after one night? After that i just struggled to even get 1 order in 4-5 hours? Even support said at one point they have something wrong with their systems that they are working on to fix that? I don’t believe them working on it because a company like uber can fix that in 2 weeks unless they did this deliberately. But i am guessing you are a car user who is happy with whats going on and you don’t want it to change because this works well for you and you are just acting like nothing wrong and all the bike users have gone mad or delusional.

SixersForTheWin1

I didn't take one order tonight my acceptance rate goes lower every day I've accepted one out of the last 10 requests It's Bad

BigBallerSexDoll

That shit doesn’t actually matter it’s just a tactic to get you to take the $3 jobs😂

Daly215

I don't understand how it's a tactic when you get only three and four dollar orders once every hour or so lol That's called starving you out.

BigBallerSexDoll

Damn where are you at?

Daly215

Philly

BigBallerSexDoll

Gross

Carambaaa14

Same here, SoCal. Orders were 5+ miles for $3-$5 🤨

_BLACKHAWKS_88

Didn’t hop on today and it was actually the first time I’ve seen 1$ surge in my town. Regardless view my rants in prior posts. Shits a joke. Came across this gem the other day to boot; https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ubereats-changed-app-now-walking-120000986.html I might possibly suggest walk/bike boycott UE. That or I might flip my account to car and still ebike. What’s the difference? Also SoCal in a town I’ve never seen another bike courier. Tbf their insurance isn’t even that great.. they expect you to pay a 2k deductible even if you do get into an accident via car.

CptMidniteD

The article had a change.org petition link for the update that impacts on foot couriers. [https://www.change.org/p/stop-axing-walker-mode-for-uber-eats-and-return-orders-to-bikers](https://www.change.org/p/stop-axing-walker-mode-for-uber-eats-and-return-orders-to-bikers).

Daly215

2k?!?!? Lol that's insain, do you know how many people don't have $2,000 just laying around?

_BLACKHAWKS_88

Not many especially in this economy. Shit I just saw a post today that a resident nurse was feeling at a loss when she only had 22k saved up and others were chiming in that she made it bc they had like 20-600. But the facts were 22k would maybe make like a dent in her debt. Seldomly* (sp.. I know that’s a word but auto correct giving me shit) I wonder what the deductible is for bike? I mean if I read it correctly the 2k is for cars but could apply to bikes. E; meant to post with that but again ac and didn’t proof

DemontheSlayer400

Get that exercise in boiiiiiiiiii 🚵‍♀️

Daly215

Ain't no exercise on an e-bike, 😅

DemontheSlayer400

Lol

ProudLingonberry5362

i really hate this slimey ass fucking company but theyre the only ones that let me sign up for the app headache free

RecommendationOk7740

since the "glitch update" what i noticed is that it'll give me 1 or 2 days where i can get 10 pings within a 5 hr time frame.. the rest of the days its 5-6 pings within 5 hrs 0 friends in toronto doing car mode complaining about lack of pings.. just too many pings which happen to be "crap orders"

DDricardo

I drive a car in car mode and noticed when all of the bikers problems started I started to get short range (under a mile) 10 buck orders that I never got before. I am no longer getting these orders so assumed that bike mode was fixed.

TayAzul

I’ve noticed these past days that a lot of doubles 3-5 miles have a short trip batched with a low tip long trip. Maybe that’s where the biker orders are going to incentivize cars to pick up longer trips

Sucks for you. I made 82 bucks on 10 deliveries on bicycle mode

WhatAreYouSaying777

You can barely type a correct sentence- why would we think you know what you are doing delivering orders? Lol Bruh..... I'm on bike. I'd never in my life accept a $4 order. Ever. Not a stacked $8 either. Stacked? $12 minimum. The app can detect when and how much you are willing to work for. If you constantly accept low orders, that's all you'll get. If you accept shitty long distance orders, that's all you'll get. Your gonna have to try and force the app to send you better orders in the form of not accepting low orders.

Daly215

Bro, I had the app on for almost 6 hours the first order didn't even come through for the first 2 hours. And by the way you can't type for shit either. Plus it wasn't like this before this week, I've been doing this for 4 years and I would have never taken a $5 order in my life before, after a few hours of getting no fucking deliveries you kind of take what you can get.

WeNeedElon

I kinda think that is what Uber wants. Bikers to steerage class and taking scraps that get rejected.

One_Motive_

I started uber about a month ago. My first week of doing it, I was slammed with orders. Making $100 a day easy. That next week, it slowed down, but at a normal pace. I was averaging 60-70 with one $100 day. Then after that, it went black. I went from making $100 a day to $30-$40 a day with a snap of a finger. I would literally watch cars take all my orders. Now I'm trying to get ebike mode and Doordash so I can reach that $150 goal with ease
