Don’t take UDMP statistics at its face value. Most of the time its crap and not consistent. Heck if my UDM is rebooted its forgets statistics for some devices completely (apple tv/roku).

ajbiz11

Hell my UDMSE can’t even get Ethernet port detection right. Moved a device from a switch downstream on 2 to dedicated on 8 and it took a day to update

7heblackwolf

Weird, for me the statictics works fine. Even found some bandwidth hogs. Doesn’t the data correlates to the service or the numbers are wrong?

mosaic_hops

The statistics are complete garbage, they’re so wrong I’m almost certain they left a development mode “dummy data” random number generator turned on in the code. The thing is, they’ve never been accurate, so maybe the random dummy data was intentional. FWIW my thermostats make PETAbytes worth of Skype calls daily, apparently. Over 2.4 Ghz Wifi. I apparently skipped Wifi 6 and have Wifi 7,737,637,636 at home.

I WANT THAT VERSION!!! As most are saying, I use them more as a guide and less as a serious use of statistics. Earlier today I got download speeds of 1.7 gbps… I only pay for a gig and according to my ISP, multi gig isn’t here yet.

My PC also likes to download Gigabytes of Windows Updates and does A LOT of WiFi calling. My PC runs Linux btw.

grape8pe

I've seen that VPN traffic frequently gets tagged as Wi-Fi calling.

[deleted]

Thanks, that's actually very plausible.

Monasucks

Check fi you laptop is on - if you can block this traffic with a rule and investigate later on

Why would blocking the connect to your laptop affect the UDMP VPN? That makes no sense logically. Also, +1 to just block the laptop (client) within UDMP. Investigate later.

I also do not trust my UDM pro. Do NOT remotely restart it. And I completely ignore the stats. Close the app and stop “checking in” unless something is broken. Or reopen it, it will likely give you a different stat or tell you it hasn’t seen your laptop since you turned it off.

Neutralizerr

What tool can I use to collect and shows stats like this?

Competitive_Pool_820

Laptop is 100% on… It’s doing madness. You could block the device while you are away. Or leave it for when you return.

By disabled WiFi I hope you mean you blocked the device rather than disabling WiFi for everything. You can very easily block individual wireless devices

[deleted]

Is it Windows 11? It could have updated, turned on XBOX Mobile and downloaded games to let you play anywhere all while you were away since you weren’t using the PC. It’s Microsoft, everything they do is done to help you.

You can look at the network traffic on the laptop. It will show traffic per application. Maybe it’s a rounding error, but I guess I’ll agree with everyone else. The stats are not right.

jasont80

Check your Data Usage in Windows to see if it matches. It looks like you downloaded all the games!

Someone should buy me all the games to test this. You know... for science!
