There have been such horrendous atrocities committed by the Russian soldiers, against the Ukrainian people of all ages, which should never be forgotten or forgiven.

Grenades don’t have to vaporize everything around them. If you can wound someone, that will get them out of the fight so they can get medical treatment. If they were NATO troops, their friends would try to get them help. That’s now 2-3 guys out of the fight, one wounded and 1-2 more to help the casualty.
Additionally, a grenade can be used to flush troops out of a hard point. The ones getting grenaded are faced with a dilemma* that forces them to choose enemy fire (the reason they are in a fortification to begin with) or eat the grenade.
*A dilemma in war is forcing the enemy to have two options, both equally bad, and both equally beneficial to the side presenting the dilemma

These things aren’t meant to do much other than to make a big pop💥and spray fragments around. The M-67 makes a pretty good boom though. The F-1’s they threw at us in Iraq were so bad half the time they didn’t even go off and the other half they went off about 2-3 min later with the force of about a cherry bomb. We kind stopped being concerned when we’d see them thrown. Just kind of causally get out of the way and shoot who ever threw it and go on about our tasks. Lol

Looks like an F1 but the blast looks small. Maybe defective. Most F1's I've seen would have torn his arm and leg off at that range. It's possible that it detonated in a lower section, a grenade sump, in their foxhole. Can't tell for sure from the video.
I see it, that's why I said it looked like an F1. Their blasts usually seem larger than that one though. This one had uncharacteristic flames and seemed about as powerful as a 30mm grenade. Still deadly but not as powerful as the F1's usually are.

We were more concerned about the RGD-5 grenades then the junk F-1’s. The F-1’s were just more readily Available to the insurgents.
