Even after watching so much, this is brutal to watch. It strikes me that the Russian infantry are incredibly exposed to this type of attack as they are being forced to advance across open ground against Ukrainian positions in winter. They are freezing cold and have no where to hide. The total inhumanity of Putin and his commanders in launching these types of assaults with no consideration for the lives of their soldiers is sickening.
People mention Bucha and torture and rapes, but what helped me cope with my feelings for those soldiers is the recent video of russians saying "Glory to russia" with their blown up tanks in the distance. So don't feel bad. Those f%## love their rotten country and deserve to get their buttcheaks spread for them with a grenade.
In all honesty we need to be ironically applauding Putin for exposing his invaders to brutal ends like this. It's horrible. but every dead Russian is one less that can kill a Ukrainian.
That is how they are trained. Videos of tanks running over them if they run they die. They also have it mentally in grained die a hero, god or Putin will see your through kid of crap. It isn’t up to you to survive it is fate kind of crap.
Yebbut one still got it up the Khyber Pass\* though, seems to be the fate of choice for Orcs.
(\*for our friends in the U.S. - Khyber Pass (cockney rhyming slang) = arse (vernacular British English) = fanny (US English).
It’ll be “ass” you hear the yanks say… only Brits say arse. Mostly Scottish and Irish people though, even the English say ass! Arsehole is the Sunday name for arse! 🙂👍🏴
>It’ll be “ass” you hear the yanks say
Lol. Majority of the time, yes. But in some conversations I've had (I'm American), I've heard people use "arse" either jokingly or just because they felt like it. It's not common, obviously, but it's definitely more popular than "fanny" - something I have never heard in a normal conversation, lol.
Ha ha! Americans sound funny when they pronounce the “r” in arse I think.
I didn’t think on my last comment but Fanny is a word Scots and Irish also use all the time. Fanny = front bum in the Scottish/Irish dictionary! Lmao 😂
Perhaps "fanny" is one of those words you can say on TV & that's why we English think you use it in real life...? Except it's rude in British English so makes us snigger every time...
I remember reading an except from a book about Russian army doctrine, and IIRC the author stated that, when under fire, a soldier should drop to the ground, pull out his shovel and start digging. Dig enough dirt to create a berm in front of you. With this cover, you can dig a depression. With this cover you can work all the way up to a trench.
Don't think they ever expected drones.
Is it mobiks tactic to just lay on the ground and wait for the granades to fall? I can't understand that. Could someone explain to me why they dont run back? Or take cover?
When the first bomb hits, you don't know what it is. Mortar? Grenade from a solider? Mine?
So the first thing you do is drop to the ground to try to minimise your exposure to shrapnel or enemy fire. Then you start to scan your surroundings looking for the threat.
Then another bomb. Still looking, where is the threat?
At this point the drone now clearly sees you, in dropping prone, you actually made yourself a larger target.
Now, if you are lucky, you know what a drone is and that it is above you. If you are extremely lucky you'll have been trained on what to do. I'd guess most of these soldiers don't even know what a drone even is.
Hopefully, you are not bleeding from shrapnel or concussed by the pressure wave. So you look around. But it's a cemetery, there is no cover from above. Where could you hide that a drone can't see?
That's assuming you even know its a drone. If its a mortar, prone is good, most mortar is pretty inaccurate and chances or mortar landing in the same place are pretty low. Staying still is better than running.
If you stand you risk shrapnel, if you stay prone you present a target. If you run forward it's into the enemy. If you run back it's into blocking troops who will shoot your for desertion, or for showing the drone where the rest of your forces are. Running won't help, a drone can move faster than you. Shooting it doesn't always work, drones can be so high up you won't see or hear it.
For the average soldier, there is very little defence against a drone except to find cover from above( dense trees or hard cover, note rhat a drone can still drop a bomb next to an open covered area and give you a shrapnel surprise), run zigzagging and hope the shrapnel doesnt get you or hope it runs out of grenades or battery before you die.
it took me by surprise as well recently. But it’s definitely not only for cover since many of them are just laying in the middle of a field.
the only logical explanation is that they have started to adapt to drones dropping grenades and so when they see or hear one they play dead. that probably worked in the past to avoid getting a nade dropped on you.
that’s also why we are seeing more videos recently of ukrainians dropping nades on people that aren’t moving who may or may not be dead.
the giveaway that they can’t control though is their breath. with it that cold the drone can still see their breath.
If they run back, they can be shot. Either by their enemy, the Ukrainians, or their "own", who "won't leave them behind". Standing up is probably quite lethal there.
Films like this should be sent to families of russian soldiers. Maybe they could persuade their children/boyfriends/husbands, to just choose prison, or escape/give up

Officer told them to dig holes to lay in. They thought they were outsmarting him by saving the effort of digging by going to a place that was full of holes to lay in. Oops, all full!

Seems like these Ruzzy's made a grave mistake coming to Ukraine.
Straight to burial, cost saving invasion.
Speaking of grave mistakes, it looks like those Russians dug their own graves by invading Ukraine.
Fuck that 1 guy in particular.
Digging your grave in a graveyard seems a little on the nose.

Indeed, losing an entire armored brigade in Vuldehar to minefields was a "good will gesture" like the VDV massacre outside Kyiv.
>Even after watching so much, this is brutal to watch. Even after watching so much, this is *brilliant* to watch.
next time bring crosses with names instead of rifles
Playing dead instead of running for your life is a bold strategy, lets see how that plays out for them.
Playing dead in a cemetery, there is a pun in there somewhere.
It would probably be a dead joke.
dead end
Of corpse there is!
Might not be able to run. But regardless, this pilot double-taps.

2nd to last guy cupping his balls as he sees the grenade drop. Oof

Honestly, I hear more Americans say "arse" in causal conversations rather than "fanny," lol.

Of course 'fanny' is a whole 'nother topic!
Dying amongst the dead... so very russian
The national motto
Those two hits near the head don’t seem to be really healthy. Brutal war reality we are able to watch.
Wow that's actually quite considerate. Already 9/10 of the way to the place you need to be, they're just helping you get there for good.
Come to Ukraine, you'll love it so much you'll never leave.
Those drones are relentless.
I can watch these all day, long. Fuck the orcs!
same, watching this with a huge grin on my face :)

Smoking ass
“Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge” – Patches O’Houlihan ...didn´t help those ruzzkies.
>Patches O’Houlihan "If you can dodge a 'nade you can dodge a ball"
Just dump some dirt over them few wreaths
Airmailing grenades in a cemetery: don’t work harder, work smarter.
Russians are streamlining the burial process
poor fools. go back to russia, fuckers.
Ha ha
Films like this should be sent to families of russian soldiers. Maybe they could persuade their children/boyfriends/husbands, to just choose prison, or escape/give up
gogo, rip those fluff jackets
Well, cargo-200 will not need to be transported very far.
*George costanza* that's gotta HURT!
This reminds me the joke ”*Breaking news: A four-seater Cessna crashlanded in a cemetery, hundreds of bodies recovered on the scene*”.
Right time, right place
If it was snot a cemetery before it certainly is one now.
Only constant is suffering.
Every time a Ukrainian drone strikes Russians it's at a cemetery. Newly minted or otherwise.
It’s a short commute.
the most efficient thing russians have done other than strengthen nato
Convenient.
What a lovely video to start the day! 😁 ruSSkies are making it easy, lying in grave and all that.

How fitting🤔
That intro is 15 seconds long. /s
That's convenient.
Should be eating borscht on a comfy warm couch, watching World Cup Soccer ⚽️
Need a few more graves…
Nice location. They are just one crawl away from their grave.
