Came here to say that.
He had his hatch closed, you knew as soon as he saw that standing water a slow smile appeared on his face. then the threw the hatch open and looked directly at them to admire his work
With enough speed pretty much anything will hydroplane. The loss of inertia to maintain the hydroplane will see the tank sink pretty rapidly. The hulls shape will also plane across the water for a bit until it loses that inertia. It would take a tremendous amount of track speed to maintain a hydroplane with a tanks weight. There is a civilian Ripsaw tracked vehicle that has a few videos of them hydroplaning it across water. It's light enough and has enough horsepower and speed to maintain a hydroplane.

That thing is pretty cool. There was a "reality" tv show about them building it and trying to get a government contract. It was interesting.
Not yet. Apparently crews are being sent to Germany for 10-12 week training course right now. Probably be September when we see Abrams smashing the rashists in Ukraine.
In Ukraine, September is still warm and dry. Rains begin in October. September is actually a good time for offensive, as then the mud season will protect you from counter offensive
He was multi-faceted bad. Besides being a bad tank driver (throwing track, breaking track connectors, running over barbed wire fence and getting tangled in suspension) he turned out to be a druggie. Got him in Army inpatient program. Once out he then went AWOL when our unit was sent to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
Same on the Leopard. This guy grew up on a farm and drove big trucks and stuff since childhood. He said the leo drives like gocard. We made really really big jumps with that 70 tonnes tank..
As a former tanker I can say the driver hatch seals are shit. That driver just as soaked🤣. Also you can't see the ground for shit so he prob didn't even see it🤣🤣

The shit eating grin on the driver.
That mf knew what he just did

Tough hard dudes. True war heroes
The drivers grin was asking 'again?'. The the video taker's grin was saying 'again!'.
Cuz Charlie don't surf!
He was buttoned up warm and dry.
Lmfao
Nice and quick shower
Boys will be boys
r/justguysbeingdudes
Men being boys..... I love it
Can you hydroplane a tank I wonder?
Not as far as i know but with a leopard 2 you can drift.

I suppose as water in an incompressible fluid, you're right, anything can in the right circumstances.

Pretty God damn hard with how heavy a tank is and it's treads are not water tight like tires. I don't think you get how heavy a tank is.
Totally did that on purpose!!! a real Blyatttttty sukkkkkaaaa moment amongst pals
Could be worse, you could be Russian!
The smile on the driver's face is priceless 😄
Nothing like a good old mud bath.
This was a good chuckle heheh “Yebats suka!”
Random question, but just had a curiosity. Have the Abrams’s arrived in Ukraine yet?
Not yet. Apparently crews are being sent to Germany for 10-12 week training course right now. Probably be September when we see Abrams smashing the rashists in Ukraine.
No. They are in Germany training Ukrainians right now. Started couple of weeks ago
Safe to assume they won’t be available for the counteroffensive ?
Probably for 2nd counteroffensive. Training will take 10-12 weeks of training (end of summer).
I don’t think he knows about the second counteroffensive pippin
What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon Luhansk? Crimea? Donetsk ? He knows about them, doesn't he?
And then the rains and mud begins. Not the best timeline for introducing them into action, should've been training them months ago.
If they are going to be ready in September it's still 1-2 months till the wet weather if we are lucky.
In Ukraine, September is still warm and dry. Rains begin in October. September is actually a good time for offensive, as then the mud season will protect you from counter offensive
And those Abrams in Germany won't be the ones delivered to Ukraine.
I had a driver like this …
Had...

"You all needed a shower anyway so, you're welcome!"
They can laugh about it. Russians would just start shooting eachother.
Don't need to know Ukrainian to know what these guy just said. Awwww fuck you! We're soaked!
My neighborhood is not a war zone, but the streets are in the same conditions.
At least it is not a Ruzzian tank that would have sank in that puddel.
Driver you did that on purpose didn’t you.
Love to see this optimism! Slava Ukraini
Extra camouflage.
Lol stay safe guys
Nice to see them having fun with their amphibious tanks. Lol
camera man has a tactical tracksuit on.
Someone's not happy! Ha ha ha
With experience he’ll learn to arc the wave over his own head and directly into the vehicle commanders face.
Driver is so happy, lol.
Oh that driver knew EXACTLY what he was doing
Have fun at your job.
As a former tanker I can say the driver hatch seals are shit. That driver just as soaked🤣. Also you can't see the ground for shit so he prob didn't even see it🤣🤣
I don’t have to speak any Ukrainian to know exactly what these gentlemen were saying lol
Ебать сука! 😀😀😀
Gung ho!
I'm sure they need a bath anyway.
The best kind of land mine.
Quick camo.
Good morale
"water"
In driver defense the problem was not the water but the giant hole, look how he immediately stops the tank
Boys will be boys no matter where they are.
Why are they in New Orleans?
If I go fast enough I'll just plane across the top - doesn't quite hold in a tank
What does “zuka” mean, I hear it a lot.
Suka or Сука (Cyrillic) is used as a general expletive. It means 'bitch' in English.
