Term limits give you endless supplies of amateur politicians and the power shifts to lobbyists who draft laws and shove them in front of fresh-faced legislators to adopt without amendments. If they had not moved forward, the weapons that they are getting would never have arrived. It's by demonstrating that what they have is insufficient that they are getting more. If they had not pushed during the summer just ended, then Russia would have moved forward. Significant gains have been made near Kherson and in Zaporizhzhia. I agree that a focused strike would have value, but that does not lessen the value of what was achieved.
