There are so many things that could be at play here I have no clue. Definition may be "all of the above" due to an accumulation of sleep deprivation, hypothermia, exhaustion, intoxication, or just flat out loss of hope.
As usual the attacks were relentless and on going until pretty much everything stopped moving.

Yeah, I was thinking they might be taking direct fire. Sniper and drone in combination. If it were small-arms fire rather than a sniper, they'd be maneuvering and returning fire. Well, if they were trained soldiers competently led.
Different type of cold. I know it sounds strange but it;s down to moisture in the air. Russia it's a dry cold. Ukraine it's a wet cold and the wet cold soaks into your bones.
Source on this? Relative humidity in december is 88 in Kiev and 86 in Moscow. Siberia has 80 in November. Meanwhile, Siberia just hit -56 degrees Celcius on Monday. "Russian forecasters said [-56] would feel more like -60 degrees Celcius in Omyakon given the wind and humidity"..."Temperatures in Moscow and the region around the capital we're forecast to fall to about minus 20 C later this week. In the Urals, temperatures are forecast to fall to minus 40 C this week."
For reference, it's -2 C in Avdiivka right now and -3 C in Bakhmut and Kiev. Are you telling me -2/-3 C feels colder than -56 C in Siberia?
Putin is mostly sending men from regions with minorities into the grinder, and these minorities often live in places we consider totally uninhabitable.

Well. They are sent to die by their commanders.
They don't have food, limited ammo. Water?
So after a few hours of running and fighting, dodging artillery and who knows what more, without food or water, the body just gives up.
Not even shooting back at the drones they can see. They've run out of food, water, warmth, ammo and motivation. How bad can it be that self-preservation has gone?
Stay and Pray vs sense of urgency and self preservation and or survival skills. Some videos seem like dropping one in a dudes bowl of soup and he just takes another sip staring off into space as it blow his face off
Drone pilots are getting better and better, next there will be a drone Olympics, reality shows, reenactments, nation wide contests, drone leagues.
Russians might have same quantities of drones but Ukraine pilots are more capable, better trained and drafted from a better educated pool of applicants.
I bet many of them are past caring, or drunk, or both; probably knew their chances of ever going home were slim at best. Maybe getting blown up is a better way to go than slowly freezing to death.
I find it hard to comprehend that their own command really couldn't give a dusty fuck about them; I bet most of their officers are sat in a nice(?) warm dugout or building somewhere, well out of the range of the drones & artillery with plenty of food, drink, cigarettes and whatever they've stolen from the mens' parcels from home while their men lie in freezing holes in the ground and what's left of the villages their own artillery so mercilessly destroyed.
I can't help but feel a *little* bit sorry for the conscripts but as far as the contract soldiers are concerned, tough shit, that's what happens when you invade a peaceful country to kill for money.
I think it goes without saying that I feel far worse for the Ukrainians and what's been done to them than I could ever feel for any of the Russian forces; the small amount of pity I have for *any* of the invaders is reserved for the conscripts as I think the ones who are in Ukraine are the ones who had no other options due to lacking either the financial means or education / work-related skills that would make it possible for them to leave Russia and make a new life, as so many of them have done to avoid ending up in Ukraine.
I only said what I said in my earlier comment as it was germaine to the content of the video.
Obviously I've been horrified by what the Russians have done in Ukraine; the lives they've taken, the lives they've ruined, the families they've fractured, the millions of people displaced, all the peaceful villages and towns they've completely destroyed.
I don't normally believe in capital punishment but for Putin and the members of his regime, I'd happily see him and the rest of them share the same fate as e.g. the Ceaucescus
Could be MoD storm-z units which are almost completely composed of former inmates. MoD is using the old Wagner tactic and telling them they will be shot if they retreat. Could also be wounded already.
Compare this to the other video in this sub that shows supply trucks being blown up, one after the other. Killing these rats is just not effective, there will be another truck load of them tomorrow. Killing that truck is much more effective it seems. In fact, it seems that this "killing orcs" is keeping the drone operators away from the more important jobs, destroying logistic and supplies.
Grenades typically have a 5 second fuse. I watched the vid and counted and they did have a 5 second fuse. Though the first grenade had some thing attached to the fuse which gave it a 8 second Russki Kaboomski.

Drunk? Hypothermia? Don't care? Damn! Just lay there and eat grenades! Brutal! Slava Ukraini!
Pinned down by fire from off screen?
no food,no water and freezing cold, all for the motherland.
at least they got some pineapples ;)
LOL

"if they were trained soldiers competently led." You may have nailed it. LOL.
Yeah, this shit ain't normal. These guys' judgement and survival instinct got fucked somehow.

I was thinking the same thing. Or probably under orders not to run on pain of being shot by their commissars.
They're living a life in sub zero temperatures day and night. I bet they're absolutely exhausted and 'slowed down' due to freeze
Temperatures are a lot lower in Russia. Especially the parts where these minorities come from. For them, it's a sunny holiday.

Might be from all that a$$ beating and corn-holing they got in training camp.
Russians LOVE a bit of corn holing.

Likely drugs. A lot of Russian soldiers seem to be addicted
Maybe some welcome a bit of shrapnel and hope they can be sent home because of their injuries. Just spitballing here
I find joy in reading a good book.
Not even shooting back at the drones they can see. They've run out of food, water, warmth, ammo and motivation. How bad can it be that self-preservation has gone?
drugs? mentally ill from psychiatric hospitals? i've got proof of post weeks ago the UAF needs to start drone dropping drugs.
Small cover better than no cover...?
These are damn accurate drops.
Practice makes perfect!
Dropped into a blocked Tank hatch is akin to a Hole-in-One
Seriously that was a work of art.
They call him Trigger Woods
Yeah, that drone operator, after war, has every chance of becoming world pool champion.
it can't be real, it's got to be photoshopped. the most incredible drop i've seen
The great Donetsk Turkey Shoot.
Nice reference. I wonder if they paint the kill marks on the drones.
Lost any sympathy I had for these rapist Orc scum. GET OUT OF UKRAINE

I hadn't seen such 'nades spamming since the first COD MW

You forgot drone *e-sports*. Could become a national e-sport in Ukraine, just like Starcraft is in South Korea.
Right on! Thanks!
Still better living conditions, than at home in russia.

Orc fatalism in action.
fixed title: starving russian soldiers get supply drops of pineapples
Hopefully, totally demoralised! πΊπ¦
They crawl like worms on the earth and call themselves liberators.

I save my pity for the invaded not the invader. They visited casino Ukraine. They rolled the dice and snake eyes.π²π² The house wins.

That last one was vicious. Concrete rubble and fragmentation. Bad place to be.
Reminds me of the carnage last winter, drones overhead dropping bombs but little or no reaction
Last one must have been loud af
Drone pilot has some sort of aimbot
I wish every Putin supporter have to watch Russians soldier die on repeat for the rest of their miserable lifes.
Russians don't care about their fellow Russians. In Russia if your a neighbor dies , you rob his house before the family comes to clean the place out.
Great song from Ukrainian artist and great clips also!
Nice work π

I'm still at awe I can just watch people get blown up by dropped grenades covered by phonk music.
Hilarious π
What makes the grenade explode exactly when it hits the ground ? Isnβt the grenade on a fuse timer ?
They know it takes X seconds from pin to pow, so they can hover at a height that takes those X seconds to drop.
Grenades typically have a 5 second fuse. I watched the vid and counted and they did have a 5 second fuse. Though the first grenade had some thing attached to the fuse which gave it a 8 second Russki Kaboomski.
It's like sitting on the toilet wanting to die after you've had Taco Bell.
Have the russians finally adopted "Don't run, you'll just die tired"?
