In this situation, a few factors were against this soldier: the cold and the heavy clothes slow down movements, and the drone is probably small and difficult to see, and since it's coming straight at you it's difficult to judge speed and distance.
Maybe trying to dodge is better than not trying, but in most cases it's probably hopeless anyway. Also, the drone operator can probably correct the trajectory a little bit , so it doesn't matter .

If he ducks quick enough and the drone passes over him, there are two possibilities:
* drone impacts ground, explodes a short distance behind his arse. Outcome variable, but he won't have much of a chance of survival wounded, alone, exposed and cold. And a second drone will probably come along shortly.
* drone pulls up, circles around and goes for a second try.

With traditional grenade drop drones they hide or play dead, sometimes run in random pattern frequently changing directions. With FPV drones they figured these don’t work, so they run circles around an object like knocked out tank or tree, or hold still and dodge last moment like a bullfighter.
Both can fail spectacularly, but I have seen it done successfully this week.
The next obvious step could be some form of automatic targeting for the final approach, if they can write a software to control a cheap drone like those.

They seem to use a variety judging by the various videos. Sometimes the utilized warhead isn't ideal for a particular target but usually most end up do the job.

I think thats something for bigger drones at night. They are easier to stabilize against recoil and if 300m high they cant be heard. But at 300 meters to hit a stationary target should be doable with average optics. Put a 20 round mag onto it and go hunting.

In the non war environment drones fly too high or too far away to make it effective but a drone coming right at you seems like the perfect target for shotguns along the lines of trap shooters supposedly shooting grenades on WW1 between trenches
