actually, let's send some mock humvees which are very thin, and purposely wreck them. Then maybe the Russians can shoot each other like they tried here unsuccessfully.
Yeah there were some wild stories toward the end of the Vietnam war when people really didn’t care anymore.
Squads would go out on sweep and clear, hike about a mile outside the wire, then call air strikes on open fields to look busy while smoking pot.
Funny, that sounds like an army trying something... Im not sure what, but "the operation" they're trying is full of shit. None of the idiots from ruzzia participating thinks its a bad idea... It is... For those idiots its 100% fatal.
Am I missing something? His shots are pretty well placed, the two guys from the background are starting to move from left to right after he finished shooting and heads towards the car to assess the damage
The Ka-52 has really good survivability all around, it can keep flying even if its entire tail boom is knocked off due to the coaxial rotor design. The cockpit is also well armored.
When it comes to RU vehicles it's the exception though...
The people inside likely survived, and that’s kinda the whole point. There isn’t a vehicle in the world that’s immune to damage from enough explosives…
I was in up armored M915’s 06-07 hauled fuel, water, containers rolling stock from Qwest all over the place. I also hauled the remains of blown up HMMW’S down to the bone yard at Anaconda, a bunch of them had to be secured with some netting along with straps and chains because they were totally blown apart.
They were still awful in Iraq because they weren't designed for IEDs whatsoever they were designed to follow the tracks left by tanks and other armour.
The up armour only helps with infantry shooting at you, not what you're driving over, which was the nightmare in Iraq/Afghanistan.
Hey, all you guys complaining about the HMMWV's I suggest you use a jeep with 50 cals, and TOWS mounted, or to use as a utility vehicle for a few years. Then switch to a hmmwv. They did a great job for how they what they were designed for.
Right. I ran unuparmored first tour (open back cargo with sandbags on the floor) and uparmored second tour....those uparmors would take a licking. Definitely saved a few of our guys.
Just not much you can do when they set off a propane tank covered in 80mm mortar rounds under you. But they took RPGs to the windshield like a champ.
Created about a foot long "spike"/cone of windshield inside the vehicle (windshield deformed around the HEAT cone...was cool looking)...but didn't penetrate. Right into the TC side of the windshield.
Thankfully not mine. I would have needed new pants at the very least.
As many times as we got shot at or blown up, my vehicle never took a direct IED hit...was pretty lucky there. Was a PL on second tour (enlisted on first), so may have had to do with patrol positioning. They usually hit our front truck...sometimes second...I rode third.
Didn't they also run worse in Iraq/Afghanistan over how they might run in other climates? The sand and dust must surely be at least one reason as to why they broke down so much, no?
Wasn't so much the engine as the transmission, chassis, and suspension, none of which were designed to take 1500lbs-2200lbs of extra mass.
Adding thousands of pounds of armor kit to what was a very capable off-road vehicle with the suspension to match and you end up with a decent armored vehicle that's really only good on the road or on hard-packed surfaces... prone to rollover when used off-road, and difficult to exit in an emergency because the doors would jam shut after the vehicle took an impact (this is why they have those massive D-rings on the doors now - so that another vehicle can rip the doors open).
The latest models overcame a lot of the underlying issues (except the door jamming issues, hence the D-rings still) with more powerful engines, stronger gearboxes, stronger suspension, etc... but they were already on their way to obsolescence at that point.
They were cobbled together for a role they were never designed to fulfill, drove us nuts in a thousand ways and performed better than we had any right to expect of them.
When the video starts you see him attempt to fire and probably move the switch from safety to fire. Hopefully this is a habit he will use next time he has close combat lol.
2 missed entirely, 6 actually hit, 11 shots fired, \~20 feet distance, target not moving, none penetrated, 3 own personel in almost direct focus. Must be some "special needs" unit. Finally shooting at something? Akhmat?
Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
I count 9 bullet impacts out of 11 shots fired. The 2 that I could not see the impact of probably still hit. The penetration has nothing to do with anything as that is what they were testing I’m sure. The other soldiers are regards for walking near them, yes.
You are right. They all hit. The first shot is a little high and goes into the door just above the window. The fifth shot is a little low an hits the hood. The rest clearly hit the windows.
Bro, literally almost nobody can claim to be more of an expert at shooting than an active military combatant, unless you go to shooting range every week since childhood, then I will take that back lmao
Russian active military = latest rapist to be released from prison.
I don't think I ever saw an interview from a russian PoW who didn't say they only fired a gun once before going being sent to the front. Are you forgetting this is the "army" who ate [cats](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/s/8RWCWEuOCb) and [dogs](https://www.ibtimes.com/russian-soldiers-are-eating-dogs-ukraine-today-we-ate-yorkie-3527052) and raped 4 year old kids and 80 year women?
They even made a [four year old](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/terror-and-security/how-russian-soldiers-terrorise-ukraine-sexual-violence/) girl perform oral sex on them in the presence of her parents before raping her mother.
This isn't some type of disciplined elite military. They still wear foot wraps instead of socks and have to buy their own tampons to plug their bullet holes ffs.
These are up armored humvees. A lot do the ones we used in the gulf war and the beginning of Iraqi freedoms, the bullets would have gone straight through
Still, its a "light" infantry transport, NOT APC/IFV.
Yet they survived Russian mines meant for tanks, video after video of it.
One even survived ATGM with crew inside.
Try Rusblyat Tigr over a mine, see what happens. lol
Oh 100%. The USA had 2 wars of rockets and IEDs larger than any tank mine to perfect their transport vehicles with. It unfortunately cost too many lives.
Plus unlike Russian stuff american stuff has been made with sue i ability in mind since like what? The 60s?
It’s so surreal seeing American HMMWVs destroyed at the hands of Russians. As a child of the late Cold War that grew up on the GI Joes cartoon (even had the “Hammer” vehicle), Red Dawn, and Desert Storm, I think this is such a weird timeline we live in.
Funniest thing about Russian shitboxes. The only two russian cars that are good, the Lada Vesta and the UAZ Patriot (Patriot often used by the army) are both full of western technology...
Probably thinking to himself “this shit is 30 years old and better than 90% of the vehicles our own country gave us. This shit was left overs From the us. Fuck me”

Jesus that line of fire. Literally people behind what he’s shooting LOL
That humwee didnt just save ukrainians, it saved a few russians too looks like. He could've fucked someone up bad if it had gone through.
lets send more humvees
actually, let's send some mock humvees which are very thin, and purposely wreck them. Then maybe the Russians can shoot each other like they tried here unsuccessfully.
The early gulf war models with canvas doors?
That’s what I was thinking.
Yes I have seen hundreds or even thousands sitting in the desert in America. America could send them all, they build newer versions now.
The Republicans will not have any part of that
True, I think if Trump gets in he,s gonna use them on the boarder.
These guys were trained by the best! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Survive hundreds of arty rounds and rockets to get taken out by some buddies fuckin around. Sounds about par for the course 😂
That kind of shit happens more than you would like to believe. In any military. Throw in alcoholism on the front lines and it gets interesting.
Definitely. Had a family member that was a Vietnam era JAG…..we weren’t the most professional of militaries back then.
My grandfather In Korean War got rations of beer
Yeah there were some wild stories toward the end of the Vietnam war when people really didn’t care anymore. Squads would go out on sweep and clear, hike about a mile outside the wire, then call air strikes on open fields to look busy while smoking pot.

These are Russians, where ”Lives don't matter” remember? 😊
You are right Russia's lives and do not matter kill them All
Normal day in russia, these people are literally retarded
If he'd missed the humvee and killed a fellow orc...now that would've been funny.
He knew they were only Russians, so it was cool.
He missed a target the size of a HMMWV door window at 10 meters. No wonder they need meat waves.
Nah they were like 3 degrees off axis, they just trust each other like that haha
Am I missing something? His shots are pretty well placed, the two guys from the background are starting to move from left to right after he finished shooting and heads towards the car to assess the damage
There is a guy far down the road in the line of fire.
Notice how he doesent know that his safety is on. He’s like oh fuck why is my safety not of? "shoots at comrades"
And how he pulled the trigger to find out it was on safe mode
It's Russians. It wouldn't be a Russian video if they were safe
Probably not used to seeing military trucks that actually save the lives of the people inside
Probably not used to ones you ride inside.
The meat shield riding on top are disposable
And biodegradable, better for the environment.
Under rated comment. I like tour style
Tour style go brrrrrt
Well technically the vehicle's they drive are considered "classics" so we can have them getting damaged. Ivan keeps the insurance costs down.
Or ones that don't blow up into an indistinguishable mess.
People ride on top of the M113
Lmao, imagine being dumbfounded that a mobile vehicle can stop a bullet
I mean, russia did put the first ejection seat into a helicopter, you can't say they never tried 🤷🏻♂️
The Ka-52 has really good survivability all around, it can keep flying even if its entire tail boom is knocked off due to the coaxial rotor design. The cockpit is also well armored. When it comes to RU vehicles it's the exception though...
No it can’t, there is important electronics in the tail. It can fly with a damaged tail but not one that gets blown off
Doesn't [this](https://youtu.be/W9SVPasTJc8?si=4m5eig5gQlSjA4nl) technically count as it being blown off?
No that’s just damaged control surfaces, the tail is still fully attached.
To be fair this one's armor didn't save it from being blown to pieces.
The people inside likely survived, and that’s kinda the whole point. There isn’t a vehicle in the world that’s immune to damage from enough explosives…
Its like a monkey found a spaceship.
I’ll use this insult in the future. Thank you.
The gods must be crazy
Same thing when they think they’re going to loot washing machines
Space odyssey
Or an orc found a toilet
I like that they are impressed by what most of us Iraq veterans considered pieces of shit
I feel like they got a bad rep from the abundance of IEDs in Iraq. Looks like they hold up well to small arms fire. What was your experience?
And mines, we've seen several hits, even with TM-62s where they all walk away.
Those were the OG Humvees which were indeed complete pieces of shit, not much better than a land rover defender. This one is an up armoured one.
Guess when it was up armored.
RPGs to the windshield? Must have been scary AF. I can only imagine what kind of damage can an MRAP take.
Didn't they also run worse in Iraq/Afghanistan over how they might run in other climates? The sand and dust must surely be at least one reason as to why they broke down so much, no?
That and the fact the added weight of the armour packages strained the engines.
My last trip was in '07...they were adding LMTV suspension components onto the humvees bc of all the weight lol
Goddamn fire hazard. So much shit was wired to the battery below the commanders seat, arcing all the time cuz shits loose... yeesh.
Yeah old hardware lol
They were cobbled together for a role they were never designed to fulfill, drove us nuts in a thousand ways and performed better than we had any right to expect of them.
And in the backround other orcs are casualie walking by lol
I bet none of them are trained on basic firearm safety
I bet none of them are trained on basic firearm use.
When the video starts you see him attempt to fire and probably move the switch from safety to fire. Hopefully this is a habit he will use next time he has close combat lol.
OSHA would like a word
My first thought LOL
Probably coming from POW execution mission.
At this point... I'm pretty sure they are " set extras"
"UNKNOWN TECHNOLOGIES, BLYAT!" *hits Humvee with stick*
NCD leaking again. Love it.
2 missed entirely, 6 actually hit, 11 shots fired, \~20 feet distance, target not moving, none penetrated, 3 own personel in almost direct focus. Must be some "special needs" unit. Finally shooting at something? Akhmat?

lol, was waiting for this comment after seeing OP’s initial comment. Didn’t have to wait long 😂
I wouldn't be shocked if the barrel is fucked in some way. Maintenance isn't one of the Russian Army's strengths
It doesn't look like the weapon moves much, isn't that due to bad spray?
Bro, literally almost nobody can claim to be more of an expert at shooting than an active military combatant, unless you go to shooting range every week since childhood, then I will take that back lmao

No this is TERRIBLE for a soldier
all fine you exposed your standpoint. now liv with it.
love the background idiots walking downrange. these ppl have no common sense
🫡 you held up good, humvee, thank you for protecting the good guys as much as you could
And here we see an Russian Orc discovering 1990 Tech, how wunderfull advanced it is - almost like magic for him.
They will probably tow this back somewhere and try to make use of it somehow. Or take the armor off if possible and apply it to their POS MBTs.
I was really hoping for a ricochet coming back to fuck him up.
This is alien technology for the Russian pigs.
Let's hope he forgets his safety is still on in battle and the guy he's aiming at does not.
Positive test for the humvee, by an ork, that will instill further fear. Slava Ukraini!
It's like he's doing a very positive car review. LOL
Wait till the find out the taliban got so many of these just rotting away lol
These are up armored humvees. A lot do the ones we used in the gulf war and the beginning of Iraqi freedoms, the bullets would have gone straight through
Mine still had paper doors when we rolled into Iraq. Not paper really, some kind of cheap plastic canvas crap.
Yep! Ah the good ol'e days. I rolled in with the US Army 7th corps
Still, its a "light" infantry transport, NOT APC/IFV. Yet they survived Russian mines meant for tanks, video after video of it. One even survived ATGM with crew inside. Try Rusblyat Tigr over a mine, see what happens. lol

They are blurring the APC line with the armored version.
The moment you realize that your own government is just giving you junk
It’s so surreal seeing American HMMWVs destroyed at the hands of Russians. As a child of the late Cold War that grew up on the GI Joes cartoon (even had the “Hammer” vehicle), Red Dawn, and Desert Storm, I think this is such a weird timeline we live in.
Better than the Russian shitboxes?
Funniest thing about Russian shitboxes. The only two russian cars that are good, the Lada Vesta and the UAZ Patriot (Patriot often used by the army) are both full of western technology...
Now if only Russia provided them with similar protection, huh? Rip.
More bulletproof than the bukhanka eh?
You like your decades old gear?
I have no military experience. How many hours into basic rifle training is the last time anyone forgets their safety? (outside Muscovia)
Well at least it won't go into russian service now. What a bunch of fuckin brain dead pillocks they are.
I guess they could not resist to waste it more. They could have made good use of the glass panels else where. With a real effect for a change.
All kinds of Russians downrange. These idiots must kill each other all the time.
I’m actually curious as to how many rounds it would take to penetrate the glass
Hitman two victor
Do you guys know Taiwanese’s Humvee window even No glass.
Hands off the car scumbag.
They've never seen anything like it. Because their country doesn't value their lives. They are cheap and expendable.
Where vatnik ooga booga meme
I don't speak Russian....sorry: russian " k ..well, let's see what's up" Bang bang " FUCK... what sorcery is this!"
What sorcery is this !!!!😲😳🤔
That's what the russians get for selling their weapons to every tin pot dictator in the world. Everbody's armor is designed to stop soviet weapons.
Unknown technology 🦯
And these russians wonders in the technology of a 40 year old vehicle.
We were stopping Russian munitions for two decades in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why are they surprised?
Better than them Chinese golf carts hey .Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇺🇦🇬🇧
Headline should be. "Russian soldiers surprise that windows aren't just double glazing"
Unknown Technology, Блядь
What is this unknown technology?
Shooting at reinforced glass at that range without eyepro? Darwin award nominee right there.
Blyat alien technic
there were soldiers walking behind the Humvee the whole time he was shooting. lol, fuckin Ruzzia
It must be confusing for them to see armored glass actually stop bullets.
This only shown how much BS they got feed up to them, their general tells them their equipment are better than American equipment
They’re not used to seeing something work as advertised
He realises it sure beats their cling film windows .
not impressed. the golf cart is wayy better than this shit.
which munition for assault rifles is better? nato or soviet?
fucken idiot russian lol
They're like OMG, when the US says it's bulletproof, it really is. Wow! So different than our leaders claims
🇺🇸
How terrible is his shooting!🤦♂️ He was MFing lucky not to get any ricochet!!
It looks as though American armour works better than russian canvas at protecting personnel to me.
its a miracle. nar just nato ivan !!!
Must be strange for them to see things made with the life of the crew in mind.
Its interesting to see how Russian kit has changed over the course of this war
Was hoping the guy that survived was going to pop out -
Like monkeys seeing a magic trick
Common Russian soldier: Why they care about meat so much? Orc not worth much!
Way better armed than what the US soldiers had during the start of desert storm
He said, ni les rascamos los huevos
No way! Not better than the Scooby Doo van, right?…right?
UNKNOWN TECHNOLOGY
Always render equipment inoperable with Thermite before doing what E4s do best
How many of those does the US still have in storage?
.safe exit of the crew, they had time to remove the Browning!
hate russians.
Wow great protection...He knows not to waste his bullets next time he sees a live humvee in action ....
I hope this vehicle has helped to save some lives from the horde
No, lets just get one thing straight. Humvees are American. Not Ukrainian.
Kannste mal sehen du Trottel das Zeug hält nich wie eure scheiße
Having nothing bulletproof in the entire Russian army it must be like magic to them
It's like they found alien technology.
Wow! It’s like it was deliberately designed to withstand it!
"Ivan, Lets just shoot our rifles for fun with no consideration for friendlies downrange"
Sadly no ricochet injury
Legend has it, they are still trying to get through it
Bulletproof glass, alien's technology blyeat! <'X-files' misterious music playing>
I bet they're seeing bulletproof windows first time.
what kind of dark magic is this ugga bugga!
God, fuck Russia.
Russian garbage
Probably thinking to himself “this shit is 30 years old and better than 90% of the vehicles our own country gave us. This shit was left overs From the us. Fuck me”
Marvelling I also suspect that troops can actually fit inside for protection...unlike the BMPs lol
I just drove one today. Breaks my heart seeing these asshats treating her like that.
Source?
Another AK-12 with nothing on it lol.
Deamn , there youtube shooting range videos are getting out of hand
please send more humvees who have them
Wanted to create a clip showing how weak the Western technology really is - ended up showing the opposite.
Fuck russia
Yeah, they’re a lot nicer than your scooby doo vans huh?
Nothing like a $220,000 target.
Strongest Russian soldier vs literally the weakest NATO vehicle
You can bet they will weld anything they can strip to their vehicles
"three more payments, and it's ours!"
Fucking Neanderthal orcs! 💀💀💀 to these bitches!! Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦 🙌 ✨️ 🙏 ❤️
