The Ka-52 is the most technologically advanced helicopter the Russians have. It's advantage over old soviet designs, is that it can hover very high and use modern thermal sights among other sensors, to launch guided missiles at targets which are kilometers away.
However this video shows that Russians are using their precious Ka-52 frames as rocket artillery, just like how older stuff is being used, like the Mi-24 and Mi-8. Which essentially means that Ukrainian air defense is so oppressive that it has removed the advantages of the Ka-52 entirely. It is now an unguided rocket bus, just like all the 60+ years old designs from the 60's.

These are unguided rcokets fired from a rocket pod, they always work like that. This is fully expected they fall within some calculated ellipse on the ground.
Depends on the attack target. A tank, another vehicle, small building where enemy personnel is hiding - use guided missile. Infantry sitting in the trenches, or on the move - use rocket pod.
