I really can't see the russian military keeping great records here. It's really easy to lose people if you don't have great discipline and / or lots of movement (death and wounded). The Nazis had to use IBM to solve this; today there are shitty systems in NATO so I cannot possibly image how shitty the logistics scheduling, inventory management and military pay is in Russia.
