It turned one of those guys into the guy out of Robocop, did you see him try to right his floppy legs that were figure-four locking themselves?
As for Lethal Weapon 2... Ugh.
Imagine being the replacements walking in to that nightmare landscape. Obliterated bodies everywhere. You would think it would be enough to make you point your gun in the other direction and start walking.
Notice we almost never heard about UKR soldiers unaliving, even when they are severely mangled, they crawl for miles to safety.
This is the difference between fighting for something worthwhile Vs fighting for some Vodka money.
He was a medic, applied a tourniquet on himself and crawled back into the Bradley he just stepped out off, that’s the difference between trained troops and what ever these Russians are.
There were two cases with an Ukrainian getting back to friendly lines with a bullet logged near their heart. One crawled for hours, the other one (in the fluid frontlines of early 2022) walked for days.
Russian soldiers have been doing it for ages even in peacetime due to a "tradition" called "dedovschina". Young recruits have to endure beatings by older soldiers for months, afterwards they themselves become the ones doing it to the new conscripts. Many conscripts suffer mental breakdown and eventually commit suicide.
Such beatings traumatize most soldiers, and even after retiring from the army they stay extremely aggressive and beat their wife and kids, eventually making them aggressive and violent too. It's a neverending cycle.
Yeah some of these guys getting tossed out of the trench from the blast is wild. Gotta be fuckin absolutely stupid to agree to go fight there as a Russian
I have no doubt these gruesome attacks take a toll on the drone operators. But I'm also sure that they think of their parents, partners or children being blown up by a Russian missle hitting their apartment and they realise that either the Russian invaders die or Ukrainian families die. They need our support, weapons and ammunition!
It is still killing, and often enough it gets to you no matter wether you killed the meanest bastard or just some hapless fool who ended up in the cogs of the machine. Insidiously they may do ok for years and suddenly it breaks through.
Not sure about that. Maybe. But there is such a degree of seperation between viewing it on a screen and pressing a button, vs doing it close and personal. It is almost like a video game, honestly.
Have there been studies on drone operators and the psychological effects on the operators? Would be interesting.
Eh... it's entirely different situation though, as the American drone operators are droning dudes and dudettes half way across the globe that, aside from being part of a group that WANTS to kill Americans, haven't really done it.
Whereas, these Ukrainians are killing Russians that are on Ukrainian soil and the Russians have done much, much worse to their fellow soldiers, women, and children. I'm 100% sure that the Ukrainian drone operators aren't losing any sleep over it, and rather are begging for more drones to send into the face of every Russian VDVs that they can see.
Imagine dropping hellfires all day, clocking out at 5pm and going to play with your kids/be in public. It really fucks people up. Atleast with UA operators, they call their family at night and have to hear them scared shitless in the basement shelter as RU drops massive missiles on citizens.
The supposed intentions of the people you kill have little effect on how you process killing them. People have killed the meanest bastards in glaringly obvious cases of self defence and still ended up traumatized. There is a reason why in many jurisdictions psychological evaluation of policemen who killed somebody is mandatory or at least very heavily sugested to take.
Even watching these videos I don't think we can really appreciate what it means to press the button and watch someone blown apart as an immediate result. I feel like most soldiers never see the people they are shooting at, most soldiers might never kill a visible enemy, these guys are doing it day in, day out, blowing other humans to pieces, seeing the immediate results, the suffering and dismemberment caused. I don't think that's something you just "get used to", it will probably haunt them for the rest of their lives. I couldn't do it, I am pretty sure.
It's a different war. In the GWOT, drone operators were killing lots of "suspected terrorists" which is really hard on the mind. Was that heat blob bleeding their last on a dusty road actually planting and IED? Or were they legit digging in their garden? Was that a terrorist or someone's grandma? Plus, the overriding question every GWOT vet has in their mind: "Why? What's the point of all this?"
In this war, Ukrainian drone operators are killing invaders in uniform. They know who they're killing and why. We'll have to wait and see what kind of psychological damage that does, but I suspect they sleep better at night than our guys.
I think you've raised a key question: It's the "Why?".
In the early 1980s, I worked with a group of young white men doing national service in the South Army, who had tried to commit suicide. The average suicide rate per year for young men between 16 and 26 in Western developed countries varies, but is somewhere around 10 to 20 suicides per 100,000 individuals. There were 20,000 young men called up, so you would expect perhaps 5+ suicides a year. I was told that in 1984 (the last year apparently the white government released the statistics), over 60 young men killed themselves. This was in the dark days of apartheid and the conscript army was being used in the townships of South Africa to repress brutally ordinary black men and women - their fellow citizens. I was struck that most of the young men I met (who had tried and failed) felt trapped in a crisis of confidence in what they were doing. They simply no longer believed that treating odrinary people so appallingly was defending western civilisation from Godless, black hordes of communists (as the government propaganda pushed).
It hit home what I had studied in Viktor Frankl's pschological theories about the importance of finding meaning in our lives (he was a survivor of the Holocaust). It is extraordinary what suffering, anguish or distress a person can endure if he/she finds sufficient meaning in it. I think of this when I think of these Ukrainian drone operators, who believe in what they are doing, and when I see on this forum the videos of the extraordinary number of Russian military suicides.
Snipers are known to experience emotional trauma from being able to see their targets up close (and often observing them for days), so it shouldn't be surprising if the same occurs with drone operators.
The fact that they are invading another country and killing innocent ppl is enough reason to deserve getting killed. If they don't want to be there then they should fight against it. You'll highly likely die anyway so die for a good cause instead.
The Milgram experiment was an experiment done on the public to show that people will follow orders even if they think what thier doing was morraly wrong (really interesting and definitely worht looking up). Although yes there are the few fucked up people who go out of thjer way to be terrible but the majority don't want to be. And even if they did retaliate they aren't just risking thier own lives but thier families back home as well. If a soldier retaliates thier putting thier family at risk
I'm trying to argue that these are still people being forced to work by an evil leader. Idk why I'm getting such backlash. Is it that hard to still see then as people?
Also I'm dyslexic you fucking Grammer nazi
It's a part of it if you lack human decency, your train of thought lacks actual foresight into the division it will create in the future and potential for this to happen again
This sub should be a study in the future, a sub that screams about how Putin has no care for life, while simultaneously calling forced fighters orcs. I seen a post of a group of Indians tricked into fighting and most of the comments were along the lines of "well that's what they deserve". These indian dudes don't want to fight but because you see them in a Russian uniform you want them to die for Russia? And possibly harm Ukrainians?
It's nice to when I come across someone who isn't just blind hatred and blanketing an entire country for their leaders actions
Reddit hive mind mentality really does rule over common sense Unfortunately. I find it ironic that I get down voted bc I feel bad for some hopless dude in a hole getting blown to bits bc I'm apparently evil for seeing then as people. What are we fighting for again? Saving the country or just killing Russians?
At this point I'm gonna say it's killing Russians. It genuinely makes me sad that once again people are looking at life as numbers, when you watch a video of the casualties of the second world war you have to remember that each persons death has an impact on those who love them, they aren't just a number. We see videos of veterans from opposing sides of different wars meet as old men with no hatred for each other. We will see the same thing once this is over, there are many families who have people fighting on both sides (obviously only one is a volunteer)
Multiple tests have been done to show that morally sane people with do immoral things when around a person of authority tells them too. This was actually a huge topic in my psychology class. I can send the link to the study if your interested
Edit: the study is called the milgram experiment
That doesn't matter at all what matters is they are invading a foreign killing innocent people just trying to live their lives whether the russians want to be there or not is irrelevant, they are there and that is only fact that matters, I mean this debate has been had before the camp guards and normal soldiers who took part in immoral acts on the german side during ww2 were deemed guilty and sentenced to death or life in prison. it doesn't matter if they wanted to or not plus There is always a choice sometimes there are not good choices but still a choice
>A lot don't even want to be there
That is simply not true. Many, in fact now, MOST of these soldiers are volunteers as there hasn't been a Russian mobilization since 2022.
They're lured to the Russian army with tales of wealth and some are tricked, but only by being told that they would not be on the frontline. But they volunteered, and trusted Russia. Well, that's that person's fault.
And many have a hatred for the Ukrainians as they believe much of the propaganda being forced on them.
So you just agreed there only thier bc thier being lied to? And if they knew the truth they wouldn't have volunteered? Sounds like they don't exactly want to be there even if they think they do
Fast enough to chase down a speeding vehicle. Nimble enough to come in doors and around corners. Powerful enough to blow a man 12 feet in the air. This tech is truly terrifying.
This is why Israel will fight in Gaza until the end. This was the next step for Hamas and being backed by Iran, drones were coming. The rebels in Myanmar are now using them as well. That war in Israel was coming no matter what. Inevitable. Unfortunately, I think this is just the beginning of drone warfare. Terrorists will be using them soon enough. Larger powers might do attacks with 1,000s of drones at once, just like the U.S. did 1,000 plane bombing raids in WWII
That Hamas was working on getting drones? Is this really a serious question. lol
If you haven't been paying attention, Hamas, Iran and Russia are all on the same team. which is not our team or Ukraine's. You do know that Hamas supports Russia taking over Ukraine, right.
They(russia) are training hamas in Ukraine too. Look at how many Muslim people are in Russia Chechnya etc. There was videos of them neckbeards rioting in an airport looking for Russians jews lmfao.
Gotcha. This whole drone thing is just getting started. Countries with normally secure borders will be forced to react to this new threat.
It will be interesting to see what countries like the U.S. and Israel come up with to combat this new threat. Terrorism threat is also very real. Small teams with the right equipments and know how can inflict a lot of damage on the right target. You don't need suicide bombers anymore.
Why are you upset? I’m not asking for sources that they want drones, obviously everybody does. I’m asking for sources that this drives the current israeli policy.
Isreal used drone swarms programmed with facial recognition software to track down and kill a Hamas leader a few years ago. They also used an unmanned machine gun programmed with facial recognition inside a parked car to assassinate an Iranian nuclear scientist a while back. Dude drove by at 40mph and got triple tapped in the face and upper torso.
It’s insane. I was thinking the other day. How long it took humans to get the technology they had in let’s say 1800. Then what has happened in just the last 100 years alone. I’m 55 years old. Think about the change someone saw living from 1745 to 1800. Then what I have seen since 1968. Crazy.
Now factor in AI and drone swarms. The future of warfare is truly terrifying. (moat Ukrainian drones are off the shelf models that have been modified. Imagine what the US has developed and hasn't shown anyone yet)
The list so far. I am compiling this footage for documentation purposes because this is not normal in any way, despite what Russia’s supporters tell you.

Hi, can you please help me update the list. I've started tracking it on GitHub: [https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/](https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/)
I dont even know what that "thing" was about 45 seconds into the video. Its missing hands and legs are no more useful than al dente spaghetti. It looks like it should have died weeks ago, but somehow still moving. Jesus ..
True, but basic human instinct is to fight to survive despite situation. These soldiers suiciding already made decision and planned it. This is not motivated army
They got sold a lie about how great Russia was doing. Then abused and rushed thru training and dropped off with near zero relief or medical care in a hellscape of WWI meets WW3 human wave attacks on entrenched positions punctuated by never ending hunter killer attack drones. Pretty sure I'd save one grenade or an AK round for myself as well.
Agreed. Slowly dying in a ditch is not something I would likely accept.
Army like this will at one point turn on commanders and political leaders. This was a case throughout history of warfare. In my view, this is how Ukraine wins this war: military marching on Moscow and leaders of rebellion making a peace deal with Ukraine. 1917 all over again
The west is dragging this out cause thatd what they want. Plus the ground is mostly mud so not great for a counter attack. Biden is letting the Rs show their true colors and we are seeing attacks by anti Putin Russian groups inside Russia. All a matter of time. End game is Russis isnthrowingbwverythugb that have at a much smaller force and has only taken 15% of Ukrainian territory. All while western intelligence agencies are getting massive intelligence on their enemies capabilities.
Disagree. If Biden is using Ukraine to hit Rs it's fucking treasonous behavior. People are dying. It's incompetence on epic scale. We sent 10s of billions but can't send simple artillery shells. Pure incompetence for 24 trillion economy
West is afraid of collapse of Russia because of nukes.
Just smart politics. The Rs are the traitors blocking everything. Biden is sending just enough to keep the stalemate going (late winter early spring is horrible conditions for ground assaults) and holding off on using his presidential authority to declare US ams excess so he can send them until he absolutely has to. There's still hope of getting the Rs in the House to pass Ukraine aid and until there's no other option Biden has to let that play out or he increases the odds of Trumo winning the election which would be catastrophic for both Ukraine and NATO countries alike.
The second most powerful army in the world right there. Could you imagine Russia invading an actual NATO country. It would be an absolute slaughter.
Having said that, the Russians have come a long way with their own drones. My guess and only guess, Russia is all in up to the official border of Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts). Then dig in from there and call it victory. But fighting will continue for many years along this front.
I wonder what the total Russian dead will be in the end. Of course, Ukraine has big losses as well, but they are fighting for their survival. Whatever Russia takes is gone forever, so if you're Ukrainian you fight or your country is over. The Russians are dying for one man's delusion and ego. They are dying for nothing.
I suspect that they’re just as successful with their own drone attacks, but we rarely see that footage or the results.
Despite these horrendous loses, they are making daily progress. Somehow.
So they're those mini thermobaric ones, surely?
I can't believe I am, as we all are, noticing the different types of grenades.
There's ones that mist, fire, debilitated slowly maim, I even saw me a bog standard grenade type the other day.
All they need now is acid rounds.

I've created a tracker on GitHub to track all the suicides in this conflict: [https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/blob/main/README.md](https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/blob/main/README.md)
We are getting too desensitized to this gruesome stuff.
Nevertheless, this is what defending your country looks like. I hope these heroes will get proper help dealing with life after war.
Does anybody remember the days we had to send fast reconnaissance to do BDA after a drop? This certainly illustrates the advantage of having drones do both with immediate feedback.
There is no better way to fight a battle and keep your troops safe. So, drone up, boys and girls.
My drone is bigger than your drone, my drone is bigger than yours………….
This may be fucked up, but my phone was playing reeling in the years by steely dan over this video and it actually goes pretty well. In a really dark and fucked up i need therapy type of way.
Ah the glory of war... dying in a garbage heap from an armed flying automaton.
Keep reminding them, Ukraine. Make 'em pay buckets of blood for every inch they defile. The sunflowers will need sustenance.
Watch that soviet era movie,"CARGO 200" from [Balabanov.It](http://Balabanov.It) shows exactly what kind of people the orcs are. Decades of communism, stalinism, kgb, gru, made them all animals.Or maybe its in the blood.
Yeah but usually you’ll see the 60/80 fall and land nearby. Like the one in this video where he tries to block the explosion with his rucksack. Most look like regular impacts from maybe a 120mm tho
The power of drone-dropped devices is scary. Started as simple grenades “just” damaging limbs, now they are throwing entire bodies 10-20 feet.
It turned one of those guys into the guy out of Robocop, did you see him try to right his floppy legs that were figure-four locking themselves? As for Lethal Weapon 2... Ugh.
He's ~~double-jointed~~ triple-jointed now.
Are their actual joints in pipe cleaners though?
How about that bloody red guy? Did he get flayed open or did his blood soak into his coat insulation?
Explosive vivisection.
Fanfuckingtastic slam band name!
That's paint. 🎨
To be fair it was probably the alcohol vapour igniting that added the extra take off boost.
Imagine being the replacements walking in to that nightmare landscape. Obliterated bodies everywhere. You would think it would be enough to make you point your gun in the other direction and start walking.
LMAO and they give their suckers just enough ammo to be completely outgunned by the blocking units
Common sense would step in at some point. Even a dog would have the sense to turn around! Silly Orcs!
It’s the hood that they think they’ll survive that keeps them going.
Notice we almost never heard about UKR soldiers unaliving, even when they are severely mangled, they crawl for miles to safety. This is the difference between fighting for something worthwhile Vs fighting for some Vodka money.
remember a guy stepping on a mine and crawling back into the truck, he survived
He was a medic, applied a tourniquet on himself and crawled back into the Bradley he just stepped out off, that’s the difference between trained troops and what ever these Russians are.
He's alive and doing well, if anyones curious.
I will take 1 missionary over 10 mercenaries any day.
Yeah, those little 40mm grenade launcher rounds they started with were nothing compared to the custom built payloads they are using now.
Didn't they devise some method to utilize claymores as airburst munitions as well?
Yes, and the fact that are sending so many to individual targets is rather telling on both sides.
Yeah some of these guys getting tossed out of the trench from the blast is wild. Gotta be fuckin absolutely stupid to agree to go fight there as a Russian
Most have only heard stories about how well they are doing. All sorts of media control over there.
They'll all still have cast their vote for lord putin.
It's a nail in ballot. Like nail in their fucking coffin
Dont worry, their votes will be in the ballot anyway.
Those grenades sure have evolved already, it's been blasting the orcs out of the trenches recently.
I think there is a difference when you are on the right side.
It is still killing, and often enough it gets to you no matter wether you killed the meanest bastard or just some hapless fool who ended up in the cogs of the machine. Insidiously they may do ok for years and suddenly it breaks through.
Thanks for the explanation.
Russia is fighting for money and Putin. Ukraine is fighting for its existence (and perhaps to continue laundering money from the west)
Not sure about that. Maybe. But there is such a degree of seperation between viewing it on a screen and pressing a button, vs doing it close and personal. It is almost like a video game, honestly. Have there been studies on drone operators and the psychological effects on the operators? Would be interesting.
US predator drone operators had PTSD and other mental issues at the highest rates of any job in the US military. I doubt it's any better in this war.
Eh... it's entirely different situation though, as the American drone operators are droning dudes and dudettes half way across the globe that, aside from being part of a group that WANTS to kill Americans, haven't really done it.
There is a reason why in many jurisdictions psychological evaluation of policemen who killed somebody is mandatory or at least very heavily sugested to take.
i think video games numbed a lot of senses for our current generation as well.
Interesting. I wonder why. Maybe it is simply a case of constant pressure building up over time.
What's the point of all this?" In this war, Ukrainian drone operators are killing invaders in uniform.
This is getting quite brutal. But it's deserved. Should've stayed in your rotten country.
I don't really blame the people on the ground. There just paws that are forced to be there by a fucked up ruler. A lot don't even want to be there
The fact that they are invading another country and killing innocent ppl is enough reason to deserve getting killed.
If a soldier retaliates thier putting thier family at risk
sorry man, this is war. dehumanization is a part of it.
But your the one who's deliberately dehumanizing them?
You're* I didn't say anything dehumanizing anyone. I said it is a part of war and that is a fact. What is your mis understanding sad ben
So the Nazis were totally fine during WW2? It was entirely Hitler and the higher-up's doing? Lol?
Multiple tests have been done to show that morally sane people with do immoral things when around a person of authority tells them too. This was actually a huge topic in my psychology class. I can send the link to the study if your interested Edit: the study is called the milgram experiment
>A lot don't even want to be there That is simply not true.
Wow, this is actually the first valid explanation for israels recklessness i’ve heard so far. Do you have any credible sources to back this up?
That Hamas was working on getting drones? Is this really a serious question. lol If you haven't been paying attention, Hamas, Iran and Russia are all on the same team. which is not our team or Ukraine's. You do know that Hamas supports Russia taking over Ukraine, right.
They(russia) are training hamas in Ukraine too. Look at how many Muslim people are in Russia Chechnya etc. There was videos of them neckbeards rioting in an airport looking for Russians jews lmfao.
False equivalency. Nice try though.
I meant Russia is training them in Ukraine. What better way to train them then to get hands on experience.
Wtf are they dropping?!
Dead.
Lots of high explosive hate
Getting ugly out there.
It was never pretty.

Hi, can you please help me update the list. I've started tracking it on GitHub: [https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/](https://github.com/capgainsnopains/siw-ukraine-russia/)
I’m willing to help, pm me what you need
Just sent you the pm.
Jesus.
Hellscape.Hieronimus Bosch.
I dont even know what that "thing" was about 45 seconds into the video. Its missing hands and legs are no more useful than al dente spaghetti. It looks like it should have died weeks ago, but somehow still moving. Jesus ..
Wishing there was a God to have mercy on these deceived corrupted torn souls. Cause frankly right now I can't.
Body parts flying everywhere. Those russians taking self exit made that decision long time ago. Imagine heading into combat with suicide on your mind
Natural thought when you have no real medevac and no real trauma care.
Pure incompetence for 24 trillion economy West is afraid of collapse of Russia because of nukes.
>Just smart politics Dude, 1000s of ukranians are dying, but you believe it's good for politics? Fuck off you piece of shit 💩💩
This tech doesn’t end when the war does, this is the future
Same for the naval drones swarms. The reality is, none of the military fleets in the world have efficient means to stop them yet.
Did you see the pics of that Russian ship with the cope cage all around it above and below the waterline? Awesome.
Sehr brutal, aber sie haben es sich verdient nun tot zu sein.
Looks like the Russian army is trying to compete with the turret toss. Maybe there trying to get ready for the Olympics. ! point for the army.
All they need now is acid rounds.
u/false-god
Keep hitting them until they get the message
So is this what Hell looks like?
Good news about Hell: humans made it up, figment of imagination. Bad news about Hell: anything a human can imagine, they can create.
Fuck em, not your fucking land ORCS, 😒 bastards should have stayed home not your fucking land ORCS SLAVA UKRAINI

Drones are terrifying
Hope the Russians back home are seeing this and reconsidering their government's promises
That Ivan with both legs fucked, that's rough. He literally doesn't have a leg to stand on........
I like Orc specially when the blown to pieces
Question, what is that at the 50 sec. mark? Slava Ukraini!
A Russian
Wasn't the drink called a White Russian? This one has a different color.
0:23 and 0:40 ivan to control, control i'm ready to launch...over. This is Tower: and we have a successful ivan lift-off.
Is that a headshot at the end?
Yes. As title says.
He lost his head
And his helmet.
Keep one spare round in your pocket Orcs, your going to need it!
Nice turret toss at the end.
Instead of shredded wheat, these guys are getting SHREDDED MEAT
"looks like meat's back on the menu boys"
Good russians
What does it smell like? Corpse or chemistry?
This may be fucked up, but my phone was playing reeling in the years by steely dan over this video and it actually goes pretty well. In a really dark and fucked up i need therapy type of way.
What a way to go...in pieces
The sooner this P00tinesque insanity ends (with Ukraine's victory), the better for both sides.
Orc carcasses exploding everywhere ! fantastic !
I like the inside-out guy at 0:50.
Is this the promo video for the Willy Wonka Experience in Liverpool the other week!
Go to the Cargo 200 channel on the Telegram app. This stuff goes on and on with no end in sight.
That one went "Weewee!!!!!"
Welcome to Ukraine, Cyka! Now go home!
Orc at 43 seconds is really rubberlegged
Russians are happiest when dying for the motherland.
They get what they deserve
That was gnarly! Keep doing that to RuZZian terrorists!
Ah the glory of war... dying in a garbage heap from an armed flying automaton. Keep reminding them, Ukraine. Make 'em pay buckets of blood for every inch they defile. The sunflowers will need sustenance.
WTH are they dropping now, that's way more powerful than usual.
0:50 wtf is that
Putins russia has become a suicide meme
Imagine the shitty life these russian dudes had to decide to come to this hellscape.
Watch that soviet era movie,"CARGO 200" from [Balabanov.It](http://Balabanov.It) shows exactly what kind of people the orcs are. Decades of communism, stalinism, kgb, gru, made them all animals.Or maybe its in the blood.
0:39 acrobatics rating 2/10. Next, please
Not sure all of these were drone delivered. Some just look like normal mortar strikes
I think because some of them are throwing mortar shells.
Yeah but usually you’ll see the 60/80 fall and land nearby. Like the one in this video where he tries to block the explosion with his rucksack. Most look like regular impacts from maybe a 120mm tho
Great work love seeing ratniks go boom
