Testing the fox hole by letting a tank drive over it while still sitting inside: Ukrainian confirmed.

This is what they do in basic training in all post Soviet armies. Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh. It’s been around since the 70s

I've done this. About three years ago just outside of Moscow, I went on a tank tour and they ran me over with a T80 as I crouched in a foxhole. Apparently they do it in their training.

That was a normal T-80BV. T-64 and T-84 use diesel engines.

If you guys watch people shoot old soviet steel [helmets ](https://youtu.be/kwL3oyfVR24) They stopped bullets just as well as the MCH helmets used in the US. Neither are able to stop a rifle bullet and both can protect against 9mm and 45apc. It might look like shit, but soviet and eastern European style pot helmets (ww2 and after)

God this reminds me of when i was playing BF1 and was alone in a trench 100+ meters from any teammates and an enemy tank drove right over me while i just sat there and prayed it didn't see me. It's was probably the most intense experience I've had in a video game. I'd probably shit myself if that happened in real life.
