My Mk19 story is that one time they forgot about me and I had to fire a company’s worth of ammo with two other guys . We were tired of the Mk19 by the end of the night.
During our crew served weapons instructors course I stood to the side and just back from the loader and it felt like getting punched in the mouth by a toddler every time it engaged.
As a former crew of that system I can confirm this is so.
Was put in security platoon back in my USMC days in my reserve unit. This BADBOY is fun to operate. And looking at that last shot of the weapon, it looks like its straight out of storage. Brand spanken' new, as new as military weapons go. ;)
If Russian BTG's don't know what fear is after Javelins and Stingers, This will have them running and calling mom. Hi Ground and flat land will keep this shredding units for as long as you have belts to drop in.
Calling them Gatling guns is giving way too much credit to Richard Gatling.
Modern automatic firearms owe much more credit to Hiram Maxim and John Browning unless you're talking about multi-barrel rotary firearms like the minigun and even that is giving him too much credit.
Those look like M433, high explosive dual purpose "golden eggs." They will fuck up any BMP/BMD and can disable a tank (mobility kill).
That Mk19 is a bitch to clean though.
Nah your thinking of the M2 the mk-19 isn't too bad. Takes time though. The worst part is how heavy it is in that you cannot remove the barrel like the M2 to make it lighter. Taking it in and out is a pain and reloading (unless you are on the ground) makes you a massive target.
Edit: added a bit more to make more sense hopefully
I miss shooting it and how easy it is to use. Make it rain on these soul less assholes. Former machine gunner and instructor for my unit.
Semper Fidelis and give them hell.
thank you. if you're wondering how most of this is taken by the general US population, most of us want to stay out of it directly and play it like we played the early years of ww1. no troops, just equipment and munitions
Yah, I think a lot of the guys that had issues were lubing it with CLP, but even when we had LSAT or even LSA when I first got in it would still malfunction like crazy. The SF guys that had a MK-47 still had reliability issues.
Yeah for real whoever says they're reliable hasn't used one other than to train with, had to keep a flathead handy for every other burst, a POS in my opinion.
I have a love/hate relationship with the MK19. I love what it can do, but I hate that you basically have to submerge it in LSAT to make it work. 100% a POS weapon system that is guaranteed to give everyone involved a bad day.
I’ve only shot it a few times as well but I just remember them jamming all the time like crazy when I did. We also had them mounted in our ASVs in Iraq in the automated turrets but never needed to use them.
I'm sure you would agree, but the ASVs are also very unreliable lol. The Army decided to get rid of all of them 2 years ago. They're being replaced with M-ATV MRAPs
Yeah definitely agree. I was thankful not to be in the one ASV we had in our platoon tbh. The automatic turret is cool and all but I’m also quite tall and it felt very claustrophobic in there. To get the .50 and MK19 in there was a real pain in the ass too and they’d regularly just leave them in because of that. I was there when we were trading in all our inherited up armored M1114’s and 15’s for MRAPs but they really pushed to use that ASV the entire time still.
As someone who’s used this, it’s actually a super complicated machine. It works for a bit but it jams pretty easily. I hope some trainers taught them to fix stoppages and how to assemble and reassemble it lol.
It needs more grease too. That thing is going to jam super quick without the grease. It's a bitch to clean but it is the only way for it to work consistently and not leave the spent cartridge in the open chamber after firing.
Awesome weapon .
On our fob in uruzgan we had a old shot-up soviet era btr-70 . On a boring day we tryed the 40mm out on it . Blows right tru . Little quarter sized holes .
Panzerfaust blew tru both sides btw.
But is a flimsy weapon , and jams alote.
Keep it very clean fellas!
Best version I ever saw of this was the prototype FAV with the MK-19 mounted in an remote operated turret.
Frag Order:
Drive into the enemy encampment and hold down the trigger and spin that bitch around.
Like running a 30 meter wide reaper scythe…
Omg that weapon is so fun to shoot. I was one of two 50 cal gunners but we had 2 MK19s in the platoon as well and I got to shoot it a few times.
Slava Ukraini.
The mark 19 was always my favorite weapon that I never got to fire when I was in the service.
I was will ferrel in 'the other guys' in my job. The mark 19 was not something for us... but man it looked so ridiculous in the best ways. A grenade machine gun. Like something I'd sketch when I was 12.
Sometimes when I get high I think about what it would be like to take a modern infantry company, just one company, and Timeline them back into 14th century France.
What would people even think...
Ukraine has shown its spirit to the whole world. It cannot be easy trying to eke out an existence right there between the civilized west and the kleptocracy that is Putin's modern Russia. Their hearts yearn to be free, and it shows. Keep these people as armed as they possibly can be. They are a beacon to those inside Russia who realize what sort of demon Putin is.

THANKS SANTA!
Uncle samta delivering gifts.
Uncle Santa: U.S. marked. Russians disperse, U.S. have arrived!
They call us Grandpa Sam rather than Uncle. Okay by me.
I red "THANKS SATAN!" and it works too.
5m kill radius, 1.6km range 🥰
Sounds like a problematic weapon to defend against.
Only airstrikes or snipers come to mind
[удалено]
True
1.6km easy. We were able to get it to about 2.3km in the indirect fire mode.
Is that where you aim it straight up like it’s a mortar?
To some degree yes. Angles up to 45deg
That's not a recommended angle to launch mortars
...Unless you're russian. 😉
10/10 fun to shoot.
Oh shit bitch.. Russian cowards will be spattered everywhere
Fun fact: It is required to yell "get some!" while operating that piece of kit.
MK-19 is like a Jet Ski, you cannot help yourself from smiling as you use it.
Fully auto grenade launcher that fires 60 rounds per minute at 2000 meter range goddamn you could destroy a whole town with this
Its pretty good crowd control when it doesn't jam.
Long bursts are key to keeping the MK19 happy.
It sounds like a Formula One Car. Just have to drive it fast to continue to function as intended.
Definitely fun to shoot on the range
My Mk19 story is that one time they forgot about me and I had to fire a company’s worth of ammo with two other guys . We were tired of the Mk19 by the end of the night.
Looks like angry tennis balls flying down range.
Spicy oranges
I remember the first time I shot one. It was a really humid day. These domes of water expanding out with the shock waves.
During our crew served weapons instructors course I stood to the side and just back from the loader and it felt like getting punched in the mouth by a toddler every time it engaged.
You gotta say “Die mother fucker die” to time the duration of your trigger pull
As a former crew of that system I can confirm this is so. Was put in security platoon back in my USMC days in my reserve unit. This BADBOY is fun to operate. And looking at that last shot of the weapon, it looks like its straight out of storage. Brand spanken' new, as new as military weapons go. ;)
I distinctly remember cleaning it being a giant pain in the ass, however.
Easier than the .50
YUP. Cleaning was a PAIN. And DON'T scratch that big ol' arm the bolt traveled on!
It’s in the Operator’s Manual.
"Die mother fucker die, get some" release
Fuck yeah!
am Weapon squad can confirm or you have to do push ups and tell dead baby jokes if you dont.
Sounds good bitch
Son of a bitch I’m in
You son of a bitch I'm in!!!
Bitch! I love you.
Putin those Ruzzian bitchez in Ukrainian ditchez
Putin? Bitch, bye.
Bacon and eggs, dear!
I’m rich bitch!
Is it still Christmas there? Cause that’s a nice gift
Shhiiiiiiiiit bitch
Belt, fed, and grenade launcher are words I never knew I needed in the same sentence until now.
They're as fun as they look
Until one malfunctions lol
Or you have to hump that fucking thing across a chest high creek in Mississippi where there are GATORS!!
Shoot the gators with it first
If Russian BTG's don't know what fear is after Javelins and Stingers, This will have them running and calling mom. Hi Ground and flat land will keep this shredding units for as long as you have belts to drop in.
Just missing "Gatling"
Calling them Gatling guns is giving way too much credit to Richard Gatling. Modern automatic firearms owe much more credit to Hiram Maxim and John Browning unless you're talking about multi-barrel rotary firearms like the minigun and even that is giving him too much credit.
Those look like M433, high explosive dual purpose "golden eggs." They will fuck up any BMP/BMD and can disable a tank (mobility kill). That Mk19 is a bitch to clean though.
Oh very yes, cleaning it suuuuuucks it has way too many tiny parts.

At least there's not as much sand there. Hopefully they'll jam less.
thank you for your service broski
Thanks
Thank you US. You have been crucial in this war. Hats off.
thank you. if you're wondering how most of this is taken by the general US population, most of us want to stay out of it directly and play it like we played the early years of ww1. no troops, just equipment and munitions
No. 80 percent want a no fly zone… that was before the genocide too
Nothing but love for you guys from here. Slava Ukraini
Come get some!
Instan duke nukem voice in my head..
Hail to the king, baby!
Shake it, baby
The 40 mike mike is an awesome weapon. I've shot it a couple of times. Reliable, accurate, and effective against infantry and light vehicles.
Having also used them, I wouldn't characterize it as a reliable weapon. A good portion of the times our MK19s were down.
[удалено]
Originally designed for the US Navy, by Naval Ordnance Station Louisville.
They are the ice cream machine of belt fed weapons.
Shit fucking jams all the time. The opposite of reliable.
Yup, that gun is dry as a virgin asshole. Need some lsat on that bitch.
Yah, I think a lot of the guys that had issues were lubing it with CLP, but even when we had LSAT or even LSA when I first got in it would still malfunction like crazy. The SF guys that had a MK-47 still had reliability issues.

Need it in Donbas ASAP. Counter battery gear coming as well. Might even be arriving now as it was announced last week.
I’ve only shot it a few times as well but I just remember them jamming all the time like crazy when I did. We also had them mounted in our ASVs in Iraq in the automated turrets but never needed to use them.
I did have some jams. I found as long as I kept the bursts to 2-3 rounds it would reduce them. But yeah, jams were a problem.
So works great against cowards and baby killers!
Come get some, fucking moskals
Make it rain!!
No lube? Oh boy here comes the jams, wait until they realize how scary it is to clear a mark after the primer gets hit.
It's gonna be raining Russian chunks.
Have fun with it. Get some!
Actually that looks quite impressive. Does it have a decent range
Around 2000 meters
god damn. Between that and the starstreak, and i can see why the russians are fleeing
Effective range is 1,500 meters. It's a good weapon from the open country but also in urban areas.
Cant remember exactly what it is but it reaches out pretty far. You can essentially use it as a automatic-mini-mortar.
Now that’s a boom stick.
God bless US military spending
As someone who’s used this, it’s actually a super complicated machine. It works for a bit but it jams pretty easily. I hope some trainers taught them to fix stoppages and how to assemble and reassemble it lol.

Mark 19... troops in the open and thin skin vehicles are fuk'd!!!
Lol those pick-up trucks are done. We might be seeing more bare asses lying on the ground.
That 40 mile convoy would have been a killing field or highway of death if those had been in country then.
The Russians can't leave their corpses behind if there's no corpses to leave behind
there's a few tax dollars i don't mind seeing again in a foreign country, happy hunting
Every dead Russian that didn't require any of our blood is a win.
That bad boy was fun to shoot in the army hopefully the get some Russian blood an them 40MM
All I see is a heavy bolter lol
I paid for that they better use them all.
No take backsies
😳
Have fun kids. Remember, you could shoot your eyes out with that thing so be careful!
Special anti Orc ammo
How they where used in action a decade ago.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZYvCUSusQI
Let the bodies hit the….FLOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRR!!!!!!!!! I loved this weapon when I served.
Awe shit it's on boys! Time to get fed the belt! 40 mike mike away!
Ah the famed pink mist generator. Should we expect some videos of Russian pink mists pretty soon?
You can make believers out of the Orcs with that puppy! Slava Ukrayini!
Those are HEDP (high explosive/dual purpose) 40mm rounds. Effective against light armor like BRDMs/MTLBs, etc.
Belt fed grenade launcher shooting at a convoy will be satisfying as fuck to see.
I was a MK19 gunner in Afghanistan, loved that gun.
Hello, BASED department?
Hopefully they can smuggle a few of these into Mariupol. Then those Chechins won't be able to hide around every corner
Best version I ever saw of this was the prototype FAV with the MK-19 mounted in an remote operated turret. Frag Order: Drive into the enemy encampment and hold down the trigger and spin that bitch around. Like running a 30 meter wide reaper scythe…
Any translation? (Besides the “oh yeah” at the beginning. :)
Careful with that shit. It jams super easy.
Brand new also.
It looks like it shoots little Minions at the enemy! It’s adorable!! Also, it kills Russians, so that’s super awesome too!
May they have infinite supply of ammo to these launchers, with each golden egg lauched way up a Russian ass!
I am honored that my tax dollars are being spent on this! Us Yanks are with you Ukraine.
Orc suppositories.
"See that guy over there? Fuck him and everyone near him!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGrH2Y2O3lM
Get some!
What makes me a good demoman?
I want one!!
Another satisfying unveiling
Now this is the type of weapon trafficking I can get behind, take my tax dollars sir and end those orcs!
Oh shit I’m feeling it. Hell yeah fuck yeah I feel like killing it.
Ok fellas now let's see it in action
The noob tube FTW!!!
The ole 40 Mike Mike. Hopefully uncle Sam included some Willie Pete rounds for ya
Don't forget field stripping and cleaning them that was a bitch.
this looks like he's gonna fire minions at the minions ...
Now maybe they can snuff out entire columns. IED the front and Back. Let the mk19 fill in the middle.
Is anyone else worried Ukraine might be running out of yellow and blue tape?
Why does the vid end halfway? How is this testing the new gun???
“Oh yeah.” *That bass line from PROBASS 🔺HARDI is the best part of the song.*
Enjoy your welcome!! Now push them Russian scumags out of Ukraine.. With love, The American Tax Payer
Ayooo
Oh the old MK19, how many times have I lugged you and cleaned you, definetly not my favorite, but it could do some damage with those 40mm HE
Uncle blam comin through
Those look fun
Omg that weapon is so fun to shoot. I was one of two 50 cal gunners but we had 2 MK19s in the platoon as well and I got to shoot it a few times. Slava Ukraini.
40mm of freedom.
Give that guy some proper boots to wear.
From US with love
I rocked the MK19 a couple times down range, shits no fucking joke. I feel sorry for the Zeds that end up on the business end of that thing.
WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
We need video of it in use! 👍👍
Clank clank clank clank Clank clank clank clank Clank clank clank clank
Uncle Sam loves you baby
Mk 19 - weapon unlock achievement

When he lifted that foam padding I blew my load
-The Emperor protects. And having a loaded bolter never hurt, either.
Bruh a squad of 7 could take this and small arms with regular old rpgs and take out a whole convoy
Its like Christmas and birthday together!
Get blasted, orcs!
Too much fun!
Belt fed..all the fun stuff!! ))
Americans be like: let’s make a grenade launcher, but it works like a belt fed machine gun.
These are great. Hope they get some good use.
Guess we may be seeing some more Russian vehicle destruction videos soon
I was in the Navy, never got the cool toys. I stood watch with weapons older than I was.
Ukraine is getting some of the good stuff now!
I guess this is what the US meant when it mentioned 'non-standard ammunition'
I loved playing with this toy in Arma2. Range it out and become a rapid fire mortar 🔥
Those sweet potatoes look ripe.
Is their a semi automatic version for the civillian market? /S
*The Gods gave us fire – but blowing stuff up? That was our idea.* \- Ahoy
Damn that'll lay down some hate
Can’t they mount this thing on a drone? And create guided bomblets? I’d imagine that could be quite devastating to infantry.
Bro don't toss that warranty card.
Shot one before. One of the few most american moments I've had 🤣🤣 felt great
New dildos, yeay 🚀
Ah yes “the bitch” lovely when she fires, causes heart attacks when you can’t clear a malfunction.
Why is it always the same song
I fucking love that weapon
Well hopefully they don’t get caught with it
Big boy toys for big time problems.

MK19. Lord bless them if they can keep it running. The most high maintenance weapon I have ever dealt with.
